Very good. Clean. Easily meets minimum standards. My only complaint is the way they keep jacking up the price. Kinda of a bait & switch.

I have been renting a space for 3 months and there is already an increase in the unit rental by $60! I did not sign up with a promotional offer and the pricing online does not reflect the price increase. So why am I asked to pay more? This is unfair business practice and not noted in a contract. read more

I would avoid this place at all costs as they do not actually provide a safe place for your belongings. The unit we were assigned had a latch that was not attached to anything besides a bit of damaged door frame. The door frame had lots of damage from previous hardware being pulled out and was barely attached. We never ended up placing any items in the unit because the unit was so unsafe. There not a lot of pictures of the interior of this storage place and that is for good reason.... it is not very secure. Glass door entry, doors that have many signs of damage and finally a front end manager David. Goes through the motions of acting like a manager but really doesn't understand anything beyond the basic script for issues that arise. Avoid. Lots of other places in Campbell that have much better secure facilities. read more

This isn't a critique of the employees or the location itself, but a critique of their business practices. I reserved a unit and paid for three months. Moving in was an easy experience. Right at the end of the three months however, I received a notice in the mail that my rate would increase by 100% in order to "adjust to current market conditions." Talk about bait and switch! I've since moved my belongings to Public Storage and I hope to have a storage unit there for many years to come. read more

The guy who works there that gave us the tour of the 2 sizes of storage we were looking for was very patient. 2 other people walked in and he told them he'd get with them once he was done with us. He was cool calm and collected. Helped us get the right size storage for our belongings that needed storing. Professional. Highly recommend! read more

I used this storage facility for a couple years - had a really good experience! Even though the building was a little older, the facility was clean and they took good care of it. Customer service was always great! Very accessible, I love that they have the carts right near the front entrance, makes it so convenient! Rent increases were reasonable as well. The only negative was that my storage unit was broken into at one point. Nothing was taken, or even rifled through. They called me as soon as they discovered it, and got me a new lock and went through my unit with me to make sure everything was there. However, the fact that this break in happened, and it's not even taking a star away from my rating for them, speaks volumes. I only moved out because I had to consolidate storage units (I had three at the time I left! Yikes!), and they didn't have one large enough to accommodate my needs. I would go back in a heartbeat, though. Highly recommend! read more

Charged me after I moved out( I've received the move out confirmation Email). Called them and they promised to refund me. However, still not received my $83 till now. When I called back again, the lady said that the extra month charge I got is because I didn't inform them! If I didn't inform them, then why I could still receive the move-out confirmation? Trash brand, had extremely bad experiences on two of their locations. Just stay away from Extra Space Storage! I had to open a dispute with bank, and I am still waiting for response. Anyway, if you don't wanna get charged for extra money and don't wanna your days get ruined, just go for other storage merchants. read more

BEWARE: The place is clean, climate controlled and accessible but expect rate increases every few months. I was in my unit for 3.5 years and my rate went from about $169 a month to $313. The place really is a good place if you are going to be there for a year or less but they really screw you on the rent after a year. read more

Friendly and helpful staff. Being a rookie to storage units, I underestimated the size of the unit I would need. Fortunately, the store manager Dave was patient and helpful. He walked me through the facility to get a better visual to see which unit would be a better fit for my things. In addition, I had no issues with the system when switching to a new contract. Since moving in, I've stopped by the facility and Dave has always been willing to help. I feel grateful to have found this place and to be taken care of as a customer. :) read more

Fingerprints! To rent a space here they actually took my fingerprints! You can also expect a price increase about every 9 months, averaging about 13% per year. If you call the national 888 number, expect high pressure to rent a unit sight unseen. And as for that first month free, you'll find there's a one-time fee pretty close to the first month's rent. If they claim to set up automatic billing to a credit card, make sure they really do. On the plus side, this location is clean and free of vermin. Lighting is adequate. Carts are almost always available. The staff are friendly. read more

Great prices for the area, Amy helped me get a storage space for my two employers. The employers are a pain in the butt but Amy made everything go smooth. She went the extra mike in making sure we had what we needed for all the crap we were moving into the space. This location measures up to the Extra Space storage expectations: clean units and facility, well taken care of, automatic price increases at six and nine month intervals, good access and readily available carts. Be aware that this legacy location has many units on the upper floor that have an angled ceiling. If you can take advantage of this for discounted rates, excellent. However these same units heat up considerably during the day due to sunlight on the roof. I rented two units at different times and while I could take strategic advantage of the angle, I can see how other people might bark their heads and/or have trouble storing furniture. Also be aware that the interior construction is wood rather than metal, as I have come to expect from more modern storage facilities. Between angles and wood, I knocked off a star. Compare rates with the nearby East Sunnyoaks facility (better access, more modern design) to see if you're getting a savings or not. This facility is WEST of Winchester Blvd and requires a loop-de-loop from San Tomas Expressway / Camden Avenue for best freeway access. read more

I'll start by saying that the staff here are friendly, courteous and pleasant. The facility is clean, well maintained, and the hallways are well lit. I am not thrilled with how strong the doors and jambs seem to be, but they do have multiple security cameras, and the staff seems vigilant. I'm not going to be storing valuables here though, so I'm not too concerned. The actual unit is illuminated by a single compact fluorescent, so seeing what I have in there may be a challenge. Access is good with wide halls and a freight elevator for the upper floors. read more

Moved in a few weeks back and the staff is super friendly, the place is clean and climate controlled -so far I have no complaints. John our agent went so far as to loan us a lock for a day as we accidentally forgot ours at home. The facility is quiet and convenient. Note when renting ANY storage place if you have homeowner's insurance bring a copy with you (we did) so you do not have to pay their insurance. read more

The facilities here are accessible and well-maintained but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. We had a minor hiccup during our lease (that was no fault of the people managing this facility) and Andrea - the store manager - was the most wonderful and helpful person in getting the issue quickly and painlessly resolved. I have rented storage units since 2004 at several places. NEVER have I been this satisfied and worry-free. The facility is secure, clean, available when I need access and convienently located. I know the manager, Dave, on a first name basis and I feel confident that if anyrhhing or anyone unusual came to my unit, he would contact me. I have an odd shaped unit and I feel the price is reasonable at this time. Thank you for the exceptional service. read more
