The woman at the front desk informed me that I would only be charged for the six days I had the vehicle. The following day, I discovered they charged me for seven days, claiming it was ten minutes late. Instead of speaking with the person who was there when I dropped off the vehicle or reviewing their camera feed, they chose to steal from a customer. It was the dirtiest and most run down truck I have every rented from U-Haul.

Just an FYI...our very large 18-wheeler fit through the gate and also outside in front of the units without any issues. When I rented it, I called the 800# which the young man was extremely helpful and kind, but had us rent a 10x20 but found out that would be two small for our belongings. What he didn't tell me is the amount you rent for at the time you book is only good until one has to add more time. At that moment whatever the going rate is to re-rent is what you pay and for us it was a lot more per month. Now Rose, the manager told me to guesstimate a longer amount of time and if we leave before that time then we'd be refunded for the months unused which was very helpful. The entire staff has been kind & helpful. The location is great, never worries that our unit might be tampered with while renting. Easy access with our GMC 2500 truck. Nice roll carts to use. I might suggest you label where the bathrooms are in your facility as well as a sign on the outside of the elevators telling your renters that the office is accessible from each floor using the elevator. On departure, we asked Anna how the refund worked and she kindly explained how it worked. We were very pleased with our experience!!

Rose looks out for you and is one of the few storage units that answer the phone --Location/Parking-- Plenty of space in the front office to park your car and plenty of space in the entrance of the storage unit to load and unload your items --Ambience-- Front office is setup nicely with modern desk that makes talking to the employees feel warm and inviting, but at the same time help you with your storage needs. On the wall on items that can help you with any type of move you need. --Service/Staff-- Rose has hands down gone above and beyond. After renting many storage units from many different cities. Rose is by far the best customer service experience. I plan to rent more upcoming units just because of her customer service. --Food/Products-- Storage units in the warehouse were clean and tidy. Pest controls along the wall were on point and security is top notch. --Capacity-- Plenty of space depending on the storage unit you are looking for. I recommend going bigger because the extra room can be used for a walkway or movement within your unit. --Overall-- I plan to be back to get an additional storage unit. Haven't had the call back as promised to be able to pay for the one missed month - in all this time, then be able to vacate contents immediately. Makes more sense than to hold items for ransom to auction them off!

But as a longtime customer of this facility, I have to tell you that their new policies will not offer any better 'value' as their "About This Business" ad-copy wants to tell you ... and 'service' remains to be seen ... The previous owner of this facility has sold out to this out of state corporation and CubeSmart has decided to discontinue several customer-friendly policies in regard to multi-month-payment discounts (except for a year's worth, they are quick to tell you) but by slashing these payment incentives, CubeSmart has effectively raised prices ... in the midst of this recession. WOW, WE ALL LOVE THAT ... thats the way to incentivize your customer base, CubeSmart. These "new discount" touted by CubeSmart are only for new customers or for those who want to prepay for an entire year. Previously there were discounts for pre-payment for 3 and 6 months as well. Also ... NOW ... The local phone number for this office rings in their out of state corporate office and not in actual facility that I am calling. Does that makes sense? If I just want to ask "what time do you close?" (and have to be transferred 2-3 times to get a simple question answered) I think many other customers other than myself will end up missing the former owners, which was StorGuard, their sign is still up as of this writing.

I am sure this place is ok to store your items...however the people that work here are CLOWNS…read more Davis Drive, where it's located, is disgusting...the amount of litter is alarming. Everywhere you look there's trash. Today while walking my dogs, two "workers" came out to tell me to stay off their property, that the clients are complaining about the dog poop, and something about the "owner"...all while I was A.) walking thru an empty parking lot (what clients?) B.) literally while holding a bag of my dog's poop. Then the employees followed closely behind me to ensure that I was on the public sidewalk. Customers are so "WORRIED" about poop but not the broken glass, discarded food containers, baby items, napkins, liquor bottles, bags and the USED condoms among many other things? HILARIOUS! I hope these two also warn the gaggle of geese to not poop on "their property" either...because they're definitely crapping on their property too. Also-it's probably not too bright to harass people walking by on public property, just because they have dogs.
