I just moved to the area from Switzerland and have been looking for a nail salon. I perused Yelp hoping it'd help me find a great place. I went to four places that had good Yelp reviews, but walked out of each one for various reasons; the biggest reason being that they do gel nails very think and imo unnatural looking. I found HAPPY Nails on Yelp, but they had no reviews. Luckily, they had photos and I really felt hopeful because several pictures showed really natural looking gel nails. So, Saturday around 3pm I jumped in the car with 2 of my 3 teenage girls. We arrived and were immediately HAPPY! The place is brand new- only open for 5 weeks (it's a second location) and gorgeous. We were immediately greeted by Cindy, the manager, and several others. Cindy took the time to listen to me and completely understood what I was looking for. She took my hand, looked at my nails and I noticed her nails- they were just like mine- gel, but natural looking!! I told her I ALREADY LOVE YOU! She said " I'll take care of you" and she did! I love my nails and am sooo HAPPY with them. I had my gel refill done, one daughter had tips and gel nails done, and another a gel manicure. My oldest daughter and I also had our brows waxed- superb! Totally pleased with them. Cindy at Happy Nail Salon is now the one and only place I'll get my nails done. She's more than fabulous and I'm so HAPPY I found her and her HAPPY NAIL SALON. Cindy told me they also do BYOB manicures/ pedicure "parties". That sounds really cool. I'm going to keep that in mind for when my SILs want to get together. I'll be returning to Cindy every month for my gel nails and also for waxing. I'm also planning on have a pedicure this month. I'm positive it'll be just as fabulous as this visit was. Thank you, Cindy, for listening to me and totally doing my nails exactly as I wanted. I'm very, very HAPPY with them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Happy Nails! Almost every nail tech that has done my nails there is patient and pays close attention to detail. Which means my gel manicure lasts longer! Plus the personalities of everyone in this salon make it! They're all funny, sweet, and so accommodating. It is a little pricier than my last salon but you definitely get what you pay for! I would recommend this salon over and over! read more

Exton Happy Nails Spa - A simple, clean gel manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Exton, Pennsylvania

I'm a regular here because they do a (decently) good job despite the facts that they have made my fingers bleed multiple times, and a few months ago I got a set of acrylics and the woman who did them 1. Made them crooked afff and 2. Just completely forgot to do a top coat on my entire left hand. I was leaving for a trip the next day and it was very incovinient to have to come all the way back just to get my mf top coat. What's really irking me right now though is that I got a simple gel manicure and pedicure yesterday, which I was charged OVER $100 for!!! That is a completely outrageous and unfair price, considering I have gotten gel pedicures with a full set of acrylics for $75 in prior visits. It seems that they just make up the price on the spot depending on how they're feeling and it's actually bs. I'm never going here again. F u happy nails read more

This salon is very dirty - something I didn't see until I was finished with my manicure. I will say that the man who did my mani did a very nice job but I'm sticking with one star because the salon was unsanitary, loud and the tools (emory boards, clippers, etc.) were not even clean let alone sanitized. The woman who did my pedi was rude. When I checked out, a man took my charge card. I asked him how much, he said $55. (I got a regular mani pedi) I got an alert from my credit card company that I was charged $56.92. $1.92 is not going to break me but it's dishonest. And I was not given a receipt. TWO painted THUMBS DOWN. read more

Every time I go to this salon they charge me a different price for the same service. Every time it's a new person at the front desk that just likes to take advantage and charge an extra five dollars whenever they can. And when you ask why they say oh we have been doing this for three years. When in reality I was just there three weeks ago and that was not the case. Also, I paid an extra $5 on top of them cutting me on 3 different fingers. Horrible customer service. Sloppy and rushing to get the next customer in at the expense of your hands. Don't go here if you want good loyal and clean service. read more

unfortunately I didnt get the name of my nail tech, but he did an amazing job! I'm absolutely in love with how they turned out. he was very patient and made sure to do exactly as I asked, which I appreciated. the service from the moment I walked in to the moment I left was fast and spectacular. this will definitely be my go to nail place. they have a wide range of color and accents and very affordable prices, especially considering the quality of service. this was NOT a situation where you get what you pay for, you get so much more. the place seemed very homey and clean. my only complaint would be the reuse of nail files on acrylic, which isnt a big deal to me however I know could be seen as unsanitary. I've heard that an illegal acrylic monomer and powder was used a while back however I'm unsure as to if that is still the case. read more

I got done Gel manicure and pedicure from here. Pros- place Is clean. Cons- The ladies who did my manicure they just talk a lot to their fellow workers and they talk so much that you don't even get time to relax in your manicure. During pedicure the lady just keep asking every minute feeling ok. Oh should I relax or just keep answering your questions read more

Been going here for years and unfortunately at this point I'm never going back. Every time I go back for my acrylic refill, the price changes depending on how the owner lady is feeling that day. The refill is $47, yesterday I paid $80. EIGHTY DOLLARS. Because "your ombré was a lot of work". The owner will change her price every time and it will keep going up. This time she threw in "extra $10 for taking off tips". Are you serious? And this was after they started my 330pm appt at 420pm. Will rip you off, make you wait, argue with you and all around unprofessional. The greed is insane. Have been going every three weeks because Jack does such a great job but even he has an attitude sometimes. Moving on and finding a place with more price consistency and professionalism. read more

Worst place ever!!! Left me sitting and waiting in a chair for 30 minutes then moved me to another chair for 25 minutes when I finally got up to return to the waiting area to wait for my daughter. In the mean time they had started my daughter! Terrible job, and the entire time you're being talked about in another language. Very very unprofessional establishment!!! read more

I came in on a Wednesday morning- it wasn't busy and yet I was rushed in and out for a pedicure. It was like a race. She started scrubbing before my feet even touched the water, and then while she was cutting my nails she cut me! I told her to stop and she didn't. Then she put my feet in the water so I couldn't see the blood from her cutting me. She only did one coat of polish and she finished before the chair massage cycle was even done. I sat down to dry them and she stood there for payment and tip and then when I wanted one of my nails fixed she laughed. Incredibly rude for someone who is paying for a service. Will not return here. Ever. read more

I had a mani/pedi appointment for 12pm on a Thursday and was seated in the pedicure section when I got there. HOWEVER, there was no water in the foot tub and I was completely ignored by every single nail tech who passed by. It was not until 12:39 that someone finally acknowledged me and came over to turn the water on. Waiting nearly 40 minutes when I actually had an appointment is ridiculous!! On top of that, I felt like my service was extremely rushed and my gel manicure had a ton of bubbles in it. If you're in the area and looking to get your nails done, I suggest Manicure Lane. read more

I can count with my (polished) fingers the number of times I've had my nails done professionally. Saturday, August 19 2017 was the date when I had the best experience of my life! I noticed immediately how wonderful it smelled in the salon (floral, pleasant). Secondly, I noticed the color of the walls - a lovely orange - that just lit up the room. The lovely staff lit up the room to the fullest with their wonderful service and good attitude. Here was the cherry on top: due to unusually hasty planning, my girlfriend and I had 10 min (after getting our feet pampered) to get our pedicure (after having a great manicure experience). Somehow, we managed to get amazing pedis!!! See my photographic proof!!! I sincerely hope that my second experience at Exton Happy Nail Spa will be, again, a HAPPY one! Thank you so much, ladies! read more

This place has seriously gone down hill in the last year. Even though my mom got a fungus in her nail from the last time we came, I thought I'd give it one more shot. I was treated with scorn for not wanting a gel manicure (so was the other customer next to me). The older woman who did my nails rushed through the whole thing. I have bubbles and pits in all my nails, unfinished cuticles, uneven nails, and sharp edges from unfinished paint. I asked if I was going to get a light pink for the base (for the French manicure since she skipped right past it and it's been done for every other French manicure I've had) and she replied "not here." It is one of the worst manicures I've had in the last 10 years. It's a shame this place fell apart because it used to be good. Don't bother coming here. Your $20 is better spent somewhere else or doing it yourself. read more

For the past two years since I moved to this area, I have been looking for a nail spa, I can now stop my search! I came here for the first time yesterday. There was no waiting time, which surprised me as they were so busy. **Points earned** I was greeted by Lin (sp?) who was very nice and welcoming. **more point earned**. She took me to her work station and noticed the tub liner which I have never seen before. **additional points**. Her service was exceptional!! I pointed out an ingrown nail and she did a super job working on it, which has relieved the pain I was feeling. Also, She along with her colleagues helped me decide on a nail polish color as I was undecided and she added a bit of pizzazz (see picture). I definitely will be coming back, and if I can get Lin as my nail professional! One last thing, they give you a bottled water at the beginning of their service. Great customer service all around!! read more

Excellent new nail salon in the Exton area. This is a fairly new salon and it shows. It's at Main Street in Exton. Everything is new and the place is so clean. They use liners for each pedicure which I love. I went in on the weekend and despite plenty of space it wasn't busy at all. This hidden gem won't be that way for long I'm sure! I had a regular pedicure ($30) and got an eyebrow wax. ($10) Super affordable for the great job they did on both! I will definitely be returning. read more

This is the most overpriced nail salon I've ever been to! And I am someone who travels a lot and goes to a lot of different nail salons... It is as pricey as a hair salon but without the decor or the staff. They don't even tell you how much your services are until after they do it. They charge $60 for a pedicure. Normal range would be anywhere from 30 to 40$ None of these prices include tip. Not to mention that the girl touched my face to pull up my own mask without asking me to pull it up. read more

Came here because the reviews were good, but I will never go back. They booked me at 5:30 for a full set and pedicure. They rushed the WHOLE TIME. My index fingernail was crooked. My toenail polish came off 5 min after leaving. They finished doing my nails while I was trying to sit in the chair getting my pedicure done. I had NO time to relax and my pedicure lasted maybe 5 minutes. The acrylics are bumpy and I am truly disappointed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE read more

I went here today for the first time ever based off of recommendations and the pics and positive yelp reviews. I want to get a full set with gel Polish and my eyebrows waxed. I signed in and was immediately sat. The place is way bigger inside then I would have guessed from the outside and was clean and comfortable. Someone else was picking their gel polish so my tech started my nails, her name was Kim. I was brought the bowl with all the gel samples and the selection is huge! I was surprised. At all the other salons ive been to I feel like it's always the same colors everywhere. I definitely saw alot of colors that I haven't seen before. It actually took me awhile to chose because of this lol. She kept checking to make sure I was alright and offered me bottled water twice which was nice as well. I loved how she cut my nails down and then double checked them twice to make sure they were all the same length and when she shaped them after the acrylic she took her time and made sure they were all perfect. She then also waxed my eyebrows for me. She looked at them and without me even telling her she goes "you just want them cleaned up, right?" which is exactly what I needed. She was fast and precise and it actually didn't hurt as much as it sometimes does other places. Overall the place is slightly pricier than other places I've been. I paid $50 for full set gel polish and my eyebrows but I think it was well worth the price and I will be back again. Definitely want to try a pedicure next too. read more

Worst pedicure ever. It felt like a two-year-old was stroking my legs. She didn't even massage my feet, and barely touched my nails other than to polish them. The polish color selection is horrific and extremely limited. I was warned about this place but I thought I would give it a try since I had very little time to drive to my favorite place. My best friend just went here today to get a refill and they told her, she had to wait. I went here because I saw a picture of nails they did on someone and when i showed them the picture with the nails and their card on the photo they said they didn't do 3D designs because they don't have time for it and that they don't do any designs so I decided to just get my nails done anyways and I was just highly disappointed read more

I love coming to this nail salon! Everyone is so friendly and does a phenomenal job with nails. I always get dip on my natural nails and they last for about 4 weeks which is amazing! The last time I went I didn't schedule an appointment and they got me in right away because I explained to them two of my dip nails chipped after two weeks (when they last closer to a month) and they were willing to fix them for me with no charge. The best nail salon/spa in Chester County! Over the past 20 years, I've been to them all, and never, never have I had such a good experience as I do with Happy Nails Salon. First, and foremost, my nails are BEAUTIFUL! The shape, so natural looking, they elongate my fingers and each and every nail, top, sides and tips are polished to perfection. Although my nail "stylist" certainly deserves recognition for her art work and perfectionism, I hesitate to reveal her name for fear she will become so booked that I won't be able to get an appointment when I want. lol. But seriously ladies, if you are tired of waiting and sitting for 2 hours in a tacky, humid, slow, unprofessional salon while multiple people create big, thick "Chiclets" on your fingers, treat yourself to a much nicer experience at Happy Nails on Main Street in Exton. PS...And as an added bonus, you can actually have a conversation with the employees, other then "pick calah" and "go wash". read more

If there was a way to rate this salon 10 stars, I would! I went yesterday for the first time and Cindy did my pink and white gel nails. Wow!! I have been looking for a great place to go since moving here a year ago from Philly. I've been to several salons and none compare! It's soooo clean and professional - and friendly!!! The quality is amazing and worth the extra $. It is a bit more expensive than other area salons, but soooo worth it!! I would recommend to any one who needs to find a salon to call theirs. I have literally been coming to Happy Nails since they opened....I love the staff, the quality, and have never minded paying a little more than other local nail salons because of the service. However, I was literally charged 4$ (they say for shaping) but it was part of the process - it's called filing, no reshape etc for a refill. I hate giving bad reviews, especially because I normally ALWAYS have such a good experience here. However, I had an awful experience yesterday and I am not happy with my results at all. I would, like any normal person, talk to the person doing my nails about my issue I order to resolve it, but the lady was so rude to me. I expressed that the color she started to put on my nails did not look like the color I picked out and maybe I accidentally showed her the wrong one, in no way at all blaming her. She told me I was wrong and that it was the color I chose and continued to apply the dip powered to every nail. So, I continued to express that it wasn't the color I wanted, and if it was, I didn't like it/it wasn't what I thought it would look like. But... she continued to tell me I was wrong, and would not allow me to look at the color selection again to make sure, or pick out a new color. She continued to apply the color I didn't like, and was very rough on my nails as if she was angry at me for suggesting it was the wrong color. If I am going to pay 40 dollars on nails, I'd hope I would at least have a somewhat good experience and actually get the color I want. Again, I hate writing bad reviews, especially because this place is normally very professional. However, this lady was NOT professional and did NOT meet the standards of this high quality nail salon. I am very disappointed. read more
