There was one minor issue after hours and they had a service technician onsite within an hour. They worked very well coordinating with the individual tenants in each unit to gain access when needed. Their quote for this project was also competitive, and job was brought in on budget with no extra "surprises". I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs, big or small. Pricing is quite high compared to other quotes I received but very transparent and worth it. Took one star because of poor communication and lateness. They advertise working Saturdays and do some of the crews but according to their office, that is all a mistake and they only work M-F 9-4. That plus the crews showing up 2.5h late each time meant that I had to take more time off than anticipated for them to complete the work. But now I know and I will absolutely use them again.

I recently contacted William again to have a wall switch installed for a ceiling fan because I thought the remote was broken (it would only sporadically turn the fan on and off, even with a new battery). Since it was later in the evening, he came back a few days later to install the switch and fix the junction box wiring. What I appreciate about Mario is that he took the time to show me exactly what the issue was and explained how he was going to fix it. He is trustworthy and guarantees the quality of his work. We decided to have dimmers put into bedrooms that we had been wanting to do since we moved into our house 4 years ago. We had worked with New Light Electric twice before and knew they were the team for the job. We reached out and Danielle (director of operations) was awesome in her communication (using texts which I love). She scheduled José to come to perform the quote. José arrived a little early and was attentive as we walked through what we wanted. He asked questions to ensure he understood. He also set expectations at to some things that might not be able to be done. A few days later we received a clear quote. I called Danielle and we got an appointment booked, for the next day with Danny. This morning, Danny arrived on time and we walked through everything again. He also advised that some things might not be able to be done and he won't be sure until he opened things up. Danny quickly got to work and was efficient and meticulous (in a VERY good way). He asked to review things that were not in the norm (we have a very quirky house), gave me options and honored my choices. One of the items in the dining room entailed additional equipment and time and he advised me of the charge before getting to work so I had the option to decline. I did approve and he continued to complete the work. Once Danny was done, I did a walkthrough and everything was done to perfection. Danny made sure he was neat and left no dust/debris behind. I will continue to work with New Light Electric for all of our future electricity needs.

Chad gave us a lot different choices and he recommended Phillips Hue system that gave more variety with colored effects than just white lighting. He came back a few times with ideas until we made a decision. We installed the system in January 2022 and for the first few months the system was great! However a few months later we started getting issues with the cabling and Chad came back out to diagnose the issue and resolved it. Every few months we were having issues with the system which was very disheartening as it was an expensive system and the issue was the cabling and Chad no longer promoted Phillips Hue after our experience. We are still having issues with the system it was usually in the back yard but the past 2 times it has been in the front yard. When I have contacted Chad he has been responsive and I usually have to wait around 2-3 weeks until he was able to come out and fix the problem. In October 2024 we had another issue with some of the lights flickering and sometimes it doesn't switch on. I contacted Chad and it took a couple of texts to get a response saying he would be unavailable for 2 weeks but he would be in touch to come and look at the issue. It's been more than 6 weeks and he hasn't still responded to any of mine or my wife's text or messages, as we were concerned of his well being after silence. He has completely gone silent and it is unlike him not to reply but we have been left stranded and ignored. We would have preferred for him to respond and say no I can't keep coming to fix the issue rather than just to be ignored. We regret putting the Phillips Hue system and wish we just put in white lights and my wife + we feel very disappointed and let down with Chad also considering we gave him some work at our HOA. We are all about helping folks and promoting good work. Chad is a great guy, we are sorry our system is problematic but he charges to come and fix issues, we are disappointed to be left stranded with silence to texts, emails and messages. This is not the way you treat a good customer and we felt he was not happy coming to fix the issues as it was every few months, which is unheard of. We are very disappointed in Phillips Hue. We were not about to change the system again to just simple white lights after spending thousands. We now find someone else to help resolve the issue. We wish Chad would at least support the failures and help us rather than having us restart the process with a new professional. It saddens me to write this review as if you look at my reviews they are always generally positive but this experience is one we needed tor share for awareness.
