They ask many questions about your pet's needs/routines/special quirks & take down notes. As for their comfort level with dogs - astounding! All 4 of our dogs are sweet little reactive nutcases with unique quirks/fears and they all took to Vince & Charish quite easily. They even accepted belly rubs! If anyone is nervous about leaving your pets under the care of someone else - you can put your mind at complete ease with them & actually enjoy your vacation. This is a whole different level than hiring a neighborhood teenager and simply hoping they remember to feed your pet (and even more importantly - to not forget them outside in the yard/allow them to slip out the front door when they leave!) Vince and Charish also send a little daily update with some great pics of your furry babies while you're away. Their attention to detail is second to none & their love and care of animals is genuine and refreshing to see.

Soooo thankful they messaged me after I posted on a Facebook group needing a pet sitter for my babies. We travel a lot and I wanted to find someone that would treat our dogs as their own and happy to say I found them!! With the meet and greet, I immediately felt comfortable leaving on my trip. My pups are reactive and although they were jumping of excitement to meet them and even one of our dogs feeling a big uneasy at first, they knew the right techniques immediately on how to calm them down and connect with our dogs within a couple of minutes of meeting. They even came twice just to ensure my pups knew who they were once we were gone. They send daily photos and updates, making our trips super relaxed. I was aware of everything with the updates and we got back from our trip to some happy pups. They even throw out the trash and pick up the dog poop so we don't come home to some more work. I go to VetIQ to get Apoquel on a Tuesday when a DR is suppose to be there. The DR had called off. They said I could go to the other VetIQ in Chandler because they're full time OR they'd email their DR for a prescription for me. I opted to drive to Chandler. They weren't taking anymore animals, but, I waited to see if I could get the Apoquel. The girl said my dog had to be seen first since because she hadn't been at that location. I said, 'well, she's in the car, I can bring her in!' She didn't look happy about that, a bit overwhelmed, I sensed. She said, "I'll see what I can do after these dogs." Sensing her annoyance of me, I decided to leave and go back to Mesa and have them e-mail DR for my Apoquel which they initially said they'd do for me. NOTE: very nice staff. That was on 12/21/21. Today is 01/10/22 and I still don't have relief for my pet! I had to go to the ER VET after Christmas for help. They helped her with temporary steroids and antibiotics for the infection on her WHOLE body, NOSE TO TAIL!! She has also lost 22 lbs! The DR at the Mesa location has been less than responsive for my pet's needs! I wouldn't suggest this location at all, at least until they find a more responsive Veterinarian.

My daughter took her cockatiel to this clinic for at least three years, possibly longer. The bird…read morewas already ill and had an autoimmune disorder. Her most serious recurring problem was egg binding: every two to three months, an egg would become stuck and require urgent veterinary care. My daughter is on disability, cannot work, and earns less than $15,000 a year. Although the clinic knew she was a regular client and that the bird's egg-binding episodes were recurring, each emergency visit cost her at least $300-$400 just for an examination. Testing, medication, and special nutritional supplements were charged separately. I find these costs unreasonable, particularly given her limited income and the fact that she had repeatedly brought the bird in for the same emergency. At the most recent visit, on October 13, the clinic charged her nearly $400. As I understand it, they examined the bird but did not perform tests or provide special medication. They sent her home, and the bird died later that day. My daughter then had to pay for another emergency visit that night, as well as for cremation. I am deeply upset by how my daughter was treated and want others to know about her experience. I also have concerns about the front-desk staff. On one visit, someone put an information sticker on her clear acrylic bird carrier, and it would not come off. My daughter was afraid to use sticker remover because she did not want to risk harming the bird. In addition, she and myself found the staff's attitude unwelcoming and unpleasant. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone considering it.

I called the groomer who had no explanation... Another $60 trip to the vet... I have been going to this groomer for a year, but now they are getting too careless... so its time to switch groomers.. Based on my last 2 trips to this groomer, I would advise anyone to avoid this groomer unless you like vet bills a day or 2 after your groomer appointment !!!

We had Play Time Pet Care watch our "kids" (dachshund, a high maintenance cat, and two bearded…read moredragons) for the first time when we went on a mini-vacation recently. I have to say that we were blown away! First, Jenna came out to meet the kids and see how our house runs so she would be ready to stay the night and care for them. She was very thorough and asked questions to clarify what she needed to know. While we were on vacation, we got picture texts with updates once or twice a day letting us know that she was at our house and how the kiddos were doing. This was very much appreciated and made it possible for us to enjoy our vacation without worrying if the kids were okay. When we got home from our trip, our house was just as we left it. The kids were happy and not spazzing out like they usually do when we leave town. You could tell they really enjoyed their time with Jenna and I don't think they missed us at all! :) This was a wonderful experience and Play Time Pet Care will definitely be our go-to for our pet-sitting needs in the future. Dr. Jen Howard has been our saving grace for years now. She see's my three personal pups as well as…read moreany rescues we bring in. My husband and I usually only take in the hard to adopt rescues with very challenging temperaments that tend to be reactive to strangers. Dr. Howard is not only fear certified but she treats every dog (no matter the intensity of the reaction) as if they were her own kiddo. She uses her soft spoken voice, always gets to the point on what NEEDS to be done and what isn't necessary, and she does everything with compassion for our animals. I couldn't ask for a better vet to stand by my side as we have had to euthanize family members who were too sick to keep going, or to slowly build bonds with our rescue dogs who aren't so easy to handle so she can vet them out and keep them healthy, or to be so quick to answer questions and get us in for appointments when our dogs have fallen ill. We love our Dr. H and we love the crossroads team! 10/10 would recommend this vet to anyone, especially if you have a pup that isn't always happy go lucky to see the vet or new people in general.
