I wouldnt even give 1 star, but had to. This was the WORST service I have ever received with a shuttle! I reserved the Express Shuttle with ExecuCar. I decided to spend a little extra so that I could get the direct ride home, instead of circling LAX 5 times and dropping off other passengers during rush hour traffic. I went to France and there was a strike so my flight was cancelled and as soon as I knew about it, I called Execucar from the airport in France and told them my flight had been cancelled and gave them my new flight number, which would be arriving into lax a day later. I was confirmed of the change on the phone and everything was handled... So I thought! After 2 days of cancelled flights and delays, I finally made it home to LAX on the flight number that I gave to Execucar. As soon as I land, I have messages from them telling me they are waiting for me at the airport, Yesterday (the wrong day using the wrong flight # info). As soon as I am outside where I can get signal, I call the ExecuCar arrival line, which they instruct you to do when you arrive...called 3 times - No answer. I call the reservation line, they tell me they will locate the driver.. the rep comes back on the phone and tells me the driver was there yesterday waiting for me (with a nice little attitude). They tell me no one is there to drive me and will call dispatch to see if anyone can pick me up. The next thing I know the guy hung up on me. I call back again, at this point I'm fuming. A female answers this time and I give her the scoop and ask if I am going to get a driver or not. She says, sorry - no. I say, I would like a full refund asap, to which she replies, "I can't do that... I can put in a complaint and request the refund in the complaint, at that point the manager will review it and decide in 7-10 business days". She tells me if I called and gave a new flight #, then whoever took the information on the phone did not record that information in their system. I asked her, what am I supposed to do? I don't have a ride and I cant get my money back because your company screwed up and I did everything I was supposed to do! This company sucks. I ended up having to get a shuttle on the spot at the airport and forked out $120 for the ride. I did all of this ahead of time to 1. save money for a direct ride 2. not deal with finding a ride after a 10 hour flight. After 2 days of airport delays and cancellations in France, this was the last thing I wanted to come home to. Thanks ExecuCar for absolutely nothing, except gladly taking my money. read more

Cab rides in LA can be quite scary, drivers speeding and getting lost, cars that smell like puke/alcohol and the inside of an airport smokers lounge. Yeah I finally decided to kick the cab to the curb and get a reliable car service to the airport! The Express Execucar service looked pretty decent online so I made a roundtrip reservation. For my outbound flight I had to get picked up at 4am on a Sunday so I was a little nervous about that pickup time. My driver Rene showed up a few minutes early and we were off to LAX. He was such the perfect driver, we chatted it up about life and his family all while listening to this incredible jazz station. I forgot that I was in a hired car! Within no time we were at the airport and I couldn't thank Rene enough for such a pleasant ride. My return home from LAX was smooth as well. Called Execucar when I got my bags and they told me my driver would arrive within 10 minutes. About 5 minutes later the trusty Express van showed up and my driver took me back home. I didn't catch his name but he was super helpful as well. I spent just a tad bit more than a regular cab ride and got so much more for that price. The mini vans are spotless and you have so much room to stretch out and relax during the ride. It was also nice that my trip was pre-paid so I didn't have to fumble with my wallet for some cash. If you're in need of some airport transportation, definitely give these guys a call! read more

Unfortunately, I'm writing this based on a number of experiences. They seem to do ok when picking up from your home but are extremely terrible when picking up from the airport. One instance I was being picked up at Long Beach airport and the driver wasn't nearby so I eventually rented a car to take me home. Another instance, The dispatch put us on a hold forever and when they did pick up we were told they driver was 45 minutes out. I have given them the benefit of the doubt but simply can't trust them anymore... will not be using anymore due to unreliability read more

Used the ExecuCar (private minivan service) thru Super Shuttle in July & August from Fullerton to LAX and return. It was a fantastic experience. My driver was prompt, courteous and a pleasure to talk to on the way to the airport!! I absolutely loved having the vehicle to myself & not having to make ANY additional stops. The difference in price is well worth it. I found the confirmation via cell prior to pick up very reassuring. My ride from LAX to Fullerton was flawless as well. I waited approx. 10 min. curbside after placing a phone call that I had arrived. I would highly recommend this service over the shared ride service (which I have used as well)...Life is short...treat yourself every once in awhile... read more

Awful service! Scheduled a pickup from LAX and when I called to see where the driver was I was told "Sorry no cars are available." Then they suggested I hop in a yellow cab. I'm sorry but I didn't book a nicer car to get into a yellow cab. I don't understand how you make the reservation in advance and they charge right away of course, but can't manage to have drivers available. I mean what is a reservation for then? I ended up having to take a yellow cab which was cost me more. read more

Just went on a trip to NY with my family of 4. We booked with Express by Execucar round trip Glendale to LAX. Both drivers are prompt and very prof, mini van is clean service was overall great. Price is very reasonable. Very satisfied! I will use them again!! read more

I've used this service twice in the past 3 months, both round trips between Huntington Beach and LAX. First time I reserved it for a business trip and it went off without a hitch - got picked up as scheduled I the evening, in a fairly new and clean Ford Transit Van. The driver was not very friendly and took his time to get to LAX. On the pickup the first time, I got a text from the driver shortly after getting off of the plane, letting me know he was ready and waiting to get me. I also was contacted by the dispatch office letting me know my driver was ready. He was also in a Ford transit and did a great job getting me home quickly, and was a pleasure to talk with. When everyone's flight is on time, things work fine.... The second time I used them, it was a whole different experience. I reserved it for a vacation with the wife. To my pleasant surprise we were picked up in a Town Car, rather than a Ford Transit. On my return, I suspected things were going to be different when I didn't receive any texts from a driver, nor any communications with the dispatch office when I got off the plane on time. I picked up my bags and called the number given in the e-mail to let them know I was ready to be picked up. I called them twice, the first time waiting on the line for over 2 minutes for the dispatch office to pick up, the second time waiting over 4 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. I then called the reservation desk and told them no one was picking up the phone in the dispatch office. After hanging on the line for almost 7 minutes, they got back to me and told me that my original driver was delayed, because his previous passenger was late because of a flight delay. This is where the Express by ExecuCar OPERATING MODEL FALLS APART. They knew this scenario was unfolding, but DID NOTHING to address the fact that I was going to be arriving at the airport on time and that my assigned driver would likely be more than an hour late to pick me up (it's already 11:40pm at this point). Once I was able to get someone at the dispatch office to realize the situation, they eventually got one of the Super Shuttle van drivers to pick us up. It was one of their usual Blue Ford vans, but the driver or something he was eating had an odor that permeated the entire van, which is why I suspect he drove us home all the way with both the side windows partially open while on the 405 (and we didn't complain because of the smell). I still smell the odor even the day afterwards, as I'm writing this review. I have no explanation for why no one at the dispatch office picked up my call from the airport, or why they did not deal with the fact that my original driver was going to be late and schedule an alternate to pick us up ON TIME. Unless they can vastly improve on how they handle scheduling issues for the return, it's a crap shoot what your experience will be. I'll be looking for a better option for my next trip. read more

I made the BIG mistake hiring SuperShuttle for an express round trip to LAX from South Orange County. I guess SuperShuttle must subcontract with Express by ExecuCar. Our prearranged pick-up to the airport went fine, but there was NO vehicle to pick us up and take us home. Execucar's procedure is to call them after baggage pick-up & tell them where you are for the car to get us. I called them and was told that a silver van was going to get us & they would text me the license number. After more than 10 minutes, I had not received the text. I called back & was told that they were looking for someone to get us. I said I didn't understand why there was no car waiting since it was prearranged more than a week ago. I was informed that there was traffic (duh - it's LA on a Friday afternoon) and they were short drivers. They told me that I should stand there and wait as they look for a driver that is available. I told them to cancel and return my money, and I called an Uber. read more

Reserved a towncar for a point to point one way. SUV showed up for no extra charge. Showed up right on time. SUV was nice and roomy for the two of us. Very good service, will definitely use them again. read more

The only reason they get one star is because there is no option to give less. I booked Execucar for transportation from LAX to a hotel in Valencia at least one week in advance. When I arrived at LAX, I followed the instructions on my confirmation and proceeded to get my luggage from the baggage claim and then called their 800 number to see where my car was. This is when they explained to me that they actually did not have the car I booked available; however, I could walk over by the Super Shuttle station and they would provide priority transportation for me on one of their vans. Yeah, not really the case. I walk over to the Super Shuttle station and provide my confirmation number and other information to the individual working. She states she will get me a van number in 5 minutes. After 50 minutes, no further information is provided. She does indicate that she is not sure if they will be able to transport me any more as it is late and dispatch indicated a bus is no longer available. That was interesting as I seen at least 20 Super Shuttle vans drive by while I was waiting, including to pick up other people. Then she indicated that she even called the Burbank dispatch and explained their dispatch person (working 5/19/14 at 12:15am) gave her attitude and said he could not use his Super Shuttle resources for an Execucar reservation. Another interesting finding as I thought they were owned by the same company. At this point, I called the Execucar 800 number back to vent my frustration and hopefully expedite the process for getting me a car. I explained that Super Shuttle basically told me they did not have any buses available for my transportation, etc. The Execucar lady then tells me that if there are no buses, he only option was to cancel my reservation and refund my money. The refund is great, but what about the last 60 minutes I spent waiting outside LAX for a van you knew was never going to pick me up. I called their 800 number again today to get reimbursed for the additional $40 (over what I already paid to Execucar and still have not been refunded) I spent on the taxi ride to the hotel. On the call to make my formal complaint, the employee told me "don't be mad at me, I am only the middle man" -- funny, it seems like everyone that works here is the middle man, no one takes responsibility or time to solve customer issues/complaints. This is not a difficult business model -- (1) step 1 - people make reservations for transportation; (2) step 2 - their company provides transportation that was reserved to fulfill the reservation. That is it, two f...ing steps. So either they sent my car home or took my reservation knowing that they could not fulfill it, meanwhile charging me upfront for the total cost. No one took responsibility for this. I know I made a real reservation, you charged me $205 already. Unprofessional, incompetent, terrible customer service.... Would never use this service again. By the way, give me my refund and pay me at a minimum the $40 (Execucar service was $102; taxi ride was $142) incurred for the taxi ride. Possibly the worst service I have ever received anywhere and I travel all throughout the world for work. This company is a disgrace to the United States of America. read more

I arrived late last night at LAX. When I turned on my phone I got a text welcoming me and asking me to call the driver. He told me where to stand just outside baggage claim and was there promptly. He was polite and helpful. The ride was in a small van. The service was perfect. read more

I received a text from my driver saying that he was waiting in a remote lot and to call him when I arrived curbside. After two attempts to call I finally called the dispatch number. I was left on hold approx 5 minutes and then told there were no cars in the area to pick me up. I was confused, my driver had sent me a text that he was waiting. When I told this to dispatch he said I know but that driver left. Then he told me to go and get in the Taxi line. ARE YOU SERIOUS. I am a woman traveling alone with my child. I chose to use this service so I would have a safe reliable ride and instead was completely stranded at LAX. read more

This company is horrible. I scheduled a car to take me to LAX. I informed them that I had 12 pieces of luggage, and 4 people. On the day I was supposed to be taken to the airport, I looked at the car being sent via the app, and it was a Cadillac CTS, instead of a minivan, that was supposed to be sent. I contacted dispatch, and was pretty much told, well too bad, we don't have a minivan available to pick you up, and you have to find another way to the airport yourself. Mind you, this was 2 hours before I was supposed to board my flight. I told dispatch, that is why I called them, because I had no other way to get myself and my children to the airport. The dispatcher got angry, and told me she was giving me a refund, and I could call Super Shuttle, and she transferred me to Super Shuttles extension. This company is extremely unprofessional, rude, and couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. My rating is 0 stars, but I had to choose 1, by default. read more

We booked a business van feom lax to Oc in advance and when we arrived amd called, they told us they have no van for us and we have to go to supetshiuttle and wait 30 min.We ended up taking a cab. They have become a un reliable service read more

Our initial airport pickup went great, and we were set to be big fans. Then it was time to leave long beach, and we sat waiting on the curb outside our hotel for 20 minutes after the pickup time. Driver never showed. So we were late to the airport and barely made our flight. Totally unreliable. While we were waiting, the customer service rep said the car was only 2.7 miles away, but it was not moving. This was a prepaid round trip, and they still haven't emailed the requested information for the credit. So not only were they late, but the customer service desk appears to be dishonest. read more

I reserved a car and prepaid it and i received an auto recorded message stating my driver would fifteen minutes late. First of all, the auto call was already giftren minutes late and would be another 15 minutes late. The guest i booked fir had to take a cab instead. I called to can el and the service people acted as if it were my fault and dint want to cancel the res. Then the driver calls me fifteen minutes later statung he arrived abd i couldnt understand a word he was saying. Sounded drunk! Then ten minutes later another person calls upset because the driver had arrived and was waiting for the guest. I tell her the guest left abd i had cancelled abd she said no one called and the driver was not late. What? Luckily i saved the message and called the credit card company about them and withdrew payment. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

I really enjoyed my ride to LAX using the ExecuCar Sedan Service. I needed a ride to LAX at 3:30 AM from my house in Long Beach and the driver arrived early. Very pleasant driver and clean, extremely comfortable vehicle. This was a luxury experience and great value - I will definitely be using them again! read more

I was extremely frustrated with my most recent experience with this company. I had made a reservation to be picked up at Ontario International Airport at 5:05 pm on October 26. When I didn't get an email confirmation of the reservation, I was a little concerned so I called the company during a layover of my flight and got a verbal confirmation. When I arrived in Ontario, the car wasn't there. I asked the lady at the Super Shuttle kiosk to call and check the status. She informed me that the car was stuck in traffic and would be there in 20 minutes. In the end, the car arrived one hour and five minutes later than scheduled. Once in the car, I expressed my frustration to the driver. He promptly gave me a business card with a phone number so that I can call customer service. I filed a complaint asking for a refund of the $89 that I had paid. I was given a reference number and told that someone would be getting back with me in two weeks. They must be experiencing a high volume of complaints if it takes two weeks to resolve! Of course, no one got back with me within that time. So I had to make a follow-up call. I was told that they would not refund the full amount because I had used the service. They did however refund half for my inconvenience. This is not the type of service I would expect from a company like this. Next time, I will just get a taxi. read more

Don't use Super Shuttle or Execu Car Folks because when you have a complaint they leave you in the wind. I have been using Super Shuttle and Execu Car well over 25 years. When there is a problem then they make the problem insurmountable when you ask for their help. I had a roundtrip pick up to and from the airport pick up on Jan. 2018. The driver calls and says he is waiting for us. I look out my window,I cannot see him and asked where he is.He says at the train depot. I told him I don't live at the train depot. We tried to give him our address and due to his limited command of the English language, it took him 20 minutes to get it correct. I stayed on the phone with him until he arrived. At the airport, we get a character that has a cardboard sign with my name incorrectly spelled but close enough for it to be me. Now I walk with a cane and we are both in our 80s. This driver walks down two aisles and I ask where is his car he says little ways up.This bum parks his SUV at the very end of the parking lot which is about 3 to 4 blocks from our original entrance. This is the only vehicle there. I asked why so far he says it is easy for HIM to get out of the airport. I said, pal, it is easy for you but difficult for us. No answer loads the luggage and drives away. Now we took a private SUV because the super shuttle drop off was too far for us to walk. this guys car was further. I called Execu Car and made my complaint to customer service. They told me there is a 45 day time period to file a complaint and I was beyond that period I told them regardless of the time period it still is a complaint. They said they cannot take it because I waited too long. I told them what was the difference it is still a complaint. I ask her to look up our profile on how long we have been using them.I was told that does not matter. I guess a long time good paying customer means nothing to those people They kept repeating the same mantra I just hung up. The wonders of the internet so many places to post a complaint read more

I booked round trip transportation from our south Orange County home to LAX and the trip there was stressful but the return trip was SCARY!! The first driver showed up barely on time, took a long route to the freeway, drove slowly on the freeway then when he realized we were going to be late for our flight got off freeway by LAX and drove crazy fast and down alleys!! The return trip was so much worse! Typically we take the 105 to the 405 to our house but this driver took the 105 to the 405 to the 22 to the 55 to the 5 all while USING HIS TABLET TO BID ON OTHER JOBS!! Because of this we had NUMEROUS close calls due to lane changes without him looking or him realizing he needed to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting the car in front. This was at 6:30am on a Thursday morning and it took us over 90 minutes to get home and by the time we got there we were all terrified! Not to mention the car was DIRTY and 3 of us had to squeeze into one back seat because of all of his food and papers in the front seat. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! So disappointed since I booked them thru the Super Shuttle website so figured they could be trusted read more
