I have shopped at Bath & Body Works for years, and I have never left a store feeling as embarrassed and uncomfortable as I did today. While checking out, I asked to use two different coupons by making two separate transactions. These were not duplicate coupons--they had different offers and different expiration dates. What made the situation particularly confusing was that, while standing in line, I personally watched another customer do essentially the same thing at a different register without any issue. When Tina told me I could not do two transactions, I asked what would happen if I simply walked out of the store and came back in to use the second coupon. Her response to me was, "Yeah, if you want to be like that," said in an unnecessarily rude and condescending tone. At that point, the situation was no longer about a coupon. It was about the way I was being spoken to and treated in front of a line of customers and other employees. I asked Tina for her name and whether she could give me a card or simply write her name down for me. She refused. When I asked, "You can't write it down?" she responded that I could "put it in my phone if I wanted it." I found the entire interaction humiliating. I became so flustered and upset that I was physically shaking. I couldn't even find the money I had intended to use to pay for my purchase. Ultimately, I left with only my free item. I did not purchase the other item I intended to buy, I did not get my birthday gift, and I was unable to use my second coupon. What bothers me most is how unnecessarily confrontational this interaction became. If there is a company policy regarding separate transactions or coupon use, I completely understand that employees are expected to follow it. However, there is an enormous difference between politely explaining a policy to a customer and embarrassing that customer in front of an entire checkout area. As a supervisor, I would expect Tina to set the example for how customers should be treated. Instead, her comment--"if you want to be like that"--and her demeanor made me feel as though I was doing something wrong simply for asking a question about using a valid coupon. The fact that I had just watched another customer make separate transactions with coupons at another register made the experience even more upsetting and confusing. I walked into Bath & Body Works expecting an enjoyable shopping experience and to treat myself for my birthday and instead walked out feeling humiliated and physically shaken. I was so upset afterward that I genuinely do not feel comfortable returning to this location. I am asking Bath & Body Works to please review what happened, including the inconsistent handling of coupon transactions and, most importantly, the way this interaction was handled by a member of store leadership. I had been looking forward to getting my birthday reward all week. And I am so sad that this is how Tina treats customers. The fact that I was never able to use my birthday reward and the coupon I earned because I became too upset to complete my intended purchases makes me sad & disappointed.

I couldn't resist but to go around and look at everything. I felt like buying everything. This Vera Bradley location is very clean, organized, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The displays are nicely put and look attractive. All in all, professional. If you plan on making a purchase online, I suggest going to the store first (and buying from there instead, actually) because you can see what you're actually buying, also you save shipping charges ($8-10) unless you're spending over $100 (not including tax). Also, if the item happens to be out-of-stock at the location and you need to place an order through the store, the shipping charge is waived. How perfect is that! Most importantly, there was a special sale going on at the store that wasn't going on online. Anyway, I placed an order on Monday, March 5th (Miller bag in Mocha Rouge) and my order arrived at home on Friday, March 9th. Although I wasn't able to check my tracking online, I had to call the store to track it. The lady took my name and number and said she would call back. Later that day my order arrived before she even called me, so I was pleasantly surprised! My bag is strong and gorgeous and I'm in love with it!! I will be using it as my perfect new school bag and I can't wait! Love this brand, my current new obsession.

In this economy, when luxury handbags are unaffordable for most of the population, Coach is considered affordable luxury. While I really dislike how many of their products have the logo splashed all over, their leather bags are actually made really well. Don't totally sleep on them. They're at least worth a look and they aren't covered with the cringy signature C. I really love the travel backpack. It's well constructed and one of the best I've ever purchased. It'll be a favorite for a long time. I also love the skirt I bought. It is constructed so well and fits beautifully. It's fully lined and a classic style that will never go out of style. I'm done with fast fashion and this skirt isn't that. The store was packed with people but plenty of employees asked if I needed help.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with VS…read more I specifically drove to Oak Brook Mall to make a purchase, utilizing the discount coupon VS had USPS'd me early in the month. I hadn't recently used my VS credit card so I assumed this was their way of motivating me to charge some items. The coupon required that I use my VS credit card to receive the discount. The selection was good, so I chose my items and made my way to the cashier. At check out, I was told my credit card account was closed, but I could pay full price with a different card. (Remember the discount is VS charge card specifically.) I asked to speak with a manager and was told they couldn't do anything about the situation, but I could call CS and ask to open a new account. So I droven all the way to Oak Brook Mall for nothing. Please tell me: 1.) Why the bank didn't notify me the card was closing or closed? 2.) Why didn't VS tell me the card was closed BEFORE they mailed the coupon and I attempted to use the card? 3.) Why did VS send a "card only" coupon to a person with a closed account? Over the course of the next hour I spoke with 2 bank personnel and 3 VS representatives at the corporate office but all I received was "this has happened to other people" and "I don't know why". So learn from my bad experience: Make absolutely sure your VS credit card is still valid before you go to VS to use it. You may have been cancelled and don't know it, yet.
