First time coming here, me and my wife wanted to check this place out since we are in the area. This place had everything all laid out for Halloween. (Though it's the middle of August still.) This place had a great array of home decor items and unconventional finds at pretty good prices. Restrooms here we're all so very clean too. Check out lines however were a bit long when it comes to waiting. Plenty of parking as well with easy access to the streets and other great stores in walking distance. read more

It's a TJ Maxx. The layout is a little different than others I've been to. I didn't venture too far from the men's department. There wasn't too much on the racks. Everything was out of order and customers were throwing stuff everywhere. I have sympathy for the employees come holiday season. read more

Larger tj Maxx. They have plenty of merchandise and store felt clean. They also had tables for different gift ideas for the holidays.

Loved this location and have been going for years now but I don't know if customer service doesn't exist anymore because I had the worst experience yet at this location. When I got to the checkout the woman whos name I wasn't told seemed like I was an inconvenience from the tone of her voice and after I pay and when I turn to leave her voice is cheery going back to her coworkers and she says something about how she can get back to what she was talking with them about "after I was rudely interrupted by a customer" and she word for word said that, now I don't know if that is a joke but to say that in earshot as I'm leaving is just plain not right. I've worked retail for years... I would never say that because I wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for customers... maybe I'm being over dramatic but whatever I guess. read more

Our cashier, I believe her name was Tori (but it was difficult to read) was incredibly rude to me and also terrible to my daughter who checked out a little later than I did. We were there on December 30th late evening shift. I genuinely hope management or corporate sees this review because people like that should not be allowed to work with the public. She made both of us very uncomfortable and I definitely won't be returning for a long while, if ever. If they hire such horrible staff, it's just not a place I need to be spending my money. It's really a shame that someone hired to work with people make it clear that they hate people. I hope she can find more joy in her life and hopefully not working with people to spread her unhappiness. read more

Cashier named Marilyn was incredibly rude. Terrible attitude, while doing a return I realized I forget the receipt in my car and asked if I could leave the pillows here while I run to my car, she was very inconvenienced by that! Do Better! read more

Great deals to be found at TJ Maxx. You just might not find too many in this really small store. I'm probably spoiled by the larger locations. The staff, however, is super friendly and helpful. If you are in this area, stop by. read more

I love the New Lenox TJ Maxx. They are so careful, wearing masks and cleaning carts for customers. Definitely above and beyond to keep everyone safe. And it's a very clean, well stocked store with latest fashions and home goods. So happy they are close to my home. read more

I love TJ Maxx. I love all their stores and honestly it is probably one of my favorite chain stores regardless, so maybe I'm a bit biased in writing this review to begin with. What pushed me to write though is that this particular TJ Maxx location is absolutely hands down my favorite in the area. I feel like it is bigger than most, and the layout of it is very tidy and nice. Right when you walk in you can see right where everything is. Everything is well displayed, the store is nicely organized, it is clean and always has SUCH an awesome selection of goodies! Unlike some TJ Maxx's that can feel a little cramped and cluttered, this one is large and spacey enough that I do not feel that way about it. It is open and airy and again: very well organized. They have a VAST majority of a variety of items just like all TJ Maxx do, and I could seriously spend hours going through here. They have everything from home decor, jewelry, baby and kids departments, pet department, clothes, toys, knick knacks, stationary... they basically have it all! Love coming here. Definitely has my vote for best TJ Maxx in the area. read more

First time in the new store...actually first time in New Lenox period! Quaint little town, but I digress...TJ MAXX has been open about 6 months. Very nice store, clean, merchandised well and the staff was very friendly. The manager greeted me warmly, got a cart for me and he told me about the clearance sales throughout the store. I found lots of great items, even the clearance areas were maintained well...great deals to be had. I bought 2 Nicole Miller red Mercury glass embellished votives for $2.00 each! Along with a few other bags of fun finds! On the way out the manager thanked me for coming in and invited me back... Okay, I was well behaved, but how often does this happen? The store is clean, well lit with large aisles for those who have mobility issues. There have been some updates since I was in last, which are really nice. Staff, however, needs some training in regard to basic questions, and if they do not know the answers, they need to be trained to ASK SOMEONE ELSE!!! Gone are the days of service. I expect my questions to be answered as best as possible, which may entail staff asking managers or other staff for assistance. They need to answer said question instead of giving me a blank stare and saying, "I don't know." Come on folks, it is not that hard. I just finally left and bought gifts elsewhere. read more

TJ Maxx is my favorite store to shop. I always find the brands I like on sale. The stores are always well stocked with clothes and outerwear , accessories, home accents and essentials for all rooms of the house. If there is something you like you better grab it because chances are it won't be there the next time you shop. They buy close out items so what you see is what you get. I enjoys hunting for bargains in each isle and I always find something! Great place to save on children's clothing. read more

PROS: I'm a new fan because I always had this false impression that TJ Maxx was for "old" people. I couldn't have been more wrong. I wanted to buy everything. I plan to ask for gift cards to this location. CONS: Things on "clearance" really aren't on clearance. They are just rediculously marked up and then down to a lower price to make you feel like you are getting a "savings." In the end, you are paying what they want you to spend.
