$4 to dry clean long sleeve shirts. Not many questions asked. I told him I wanted to make sure the neck was clean as I tend to sweat alot and it gets dirty in the neck line. The lady has never been very nice to us which is not a big deal. I brought a dress and pointed out there are some stain spots and was told the stains cannot be removed. I never got any call and still got charged on this dress. Based on my experience with other cleaners, they called to set my expectations. I think this can be improved. read more

Wasted my time coming here. I bought a dress specifically for a weekend trip and brought it here since they did a decent job on my first visit. I brought it in on a Tuesday and asked for it to be ready for pick up by Thursday evening and they said ok. I noticed they even charged me more for the rush since I paid more for one of the items I had this time vs the first time (50% charge increase). Today, I rushed over in traffic to pick up my items since I'm leaving for my trip later tonight and they're CLOSED. Their hours of operation is listed as 7am-7pm. I got here at 6:34pm and there was no one to be seen. My boyfriend even called their phone number to check if maybe someone was hiding in the back. Nope, no one there. We pounded on the door so hard that the alarm system went off. Nope, no one to be seen after it stopped. I will not be a returning customer. read more

I have been coming to expo cleaners for about 30 years. They always do an excellent job. I don't work anymore so I don't have a lot of dry cleaning and I have moved away from Redondo Beach but I still continue to bring whatever cleaning I have here. Laurie is great. She remembers everyone's name and what they bring in. She also does alterations and does an excellent job of that as well. read more

I went in on a Tuesday around 1830 (6:30pm for non-military time people) and dropped off a suit for dry cleaning. The owner seemed pretty surprised when I had no special requests: not a rush order, no particular stains to get out, nothing to mend. Anyway, he said it'd be ready by Thursday afternoon. Come Thursday, I go to pick up the suit, and the owner remembered me! Yeah, I still had to show the ticket for the suit, but still, it gives the place a bit of a neighborhood business feel. As for the price, I'm not sure what the going rate is for dry cleaning in the area, but it was around $11 for 2 pieces. Soo, it may not be cheap, but service was fast and friendly. Prices are a bit on the high side but they do a GREAT job...especially the alternations. I brought my engagement dress here for alterations and got it back very quickly (even though they said they wouldn't have it done until 3 days later). I love this place! A very nice couple runs it, and they always remember my name. They are very honest too - I have left silver collar stays in my husband's shirts that are always returned, and money left in pockets is always returned as well. Hole in the wall place but it has excellent service. I spilled juice all over a silk blend top and they were able to get it completely out. I love how they fold over my sweaters on a hanger with tissue. When I take the sweaters off the hanger they feel like new all over again. This place is slightly pricey but worth it for those special work suits or fancy garments. The ladies that work there are friendly and always remember their clients. i took my uniform to this cleaners for a try since it is a bit closer than my regular dry cleaners. Boy, I should have asked what is the dry cleaning price. When I picked up the jackets and Trouser, they told me 21 dollars for 3pcs. 8.00 for an uniform jacket and 6.00 for trouser. It was way overprice.. I should have read the yelp review before I dropped off my clothes. The service is poor. The two ladies worked there (maybe the co-owner) are as cold as ice. No facial expression and no smile. their work shop is dark and outdated. When I asked them for the discount, they refused and only said we did better than other cleaner on the same street. they don't even try to keep my business as a new customers, not even 10% to offer . They really do deserve this rating. They got out a red lipstick stain from a cream colored silk top without damaging it. This is a huge improvement from the last dry cleaners I tried (GQ cleaners in Redondo) who ruined 3 pieces of clothing. read more

Fast honest and they do a really great job. I came here based on the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Not only did they turn around my cleaning quickly, they got a stain out of a wool scarf that had been there for a while. My other clothes looks fresh and great. Expo Cleaners is AMAZING!! I brought in a very expensive light colored coat that had been stepped on by someone who had grease on their shoes and Expo was able to get the stain out! I also brought in a blouse that I had cleaned by another cleaner who could not get the stains out and Expo was able to get 95% of the stain out! I would highly recommend going to Expo and not waste time and money going to someone else. read more

after reading the reviews on yelp, i decided to bring my dry cleaning and some clothes that needed slight alterations here. they did a great job with both, and the owners were very friendly. i mentioned that i'd found them through the glowing reviews on yelp, and they were so surprised and touched. when i came to pick up my clothes, the woman thanked me for telling them about the reviews and told me that she treats all of the clothes as if they were her own - what more could you ask for? prices are a bit high, as has been mentioned, but you definitely get what you pay for. read more

Get stains out with fast and friendly service (the gentlemen at the counter remembered my name on just the second time I came in!), not much else you can ask for from a dry cleaner. The most conscientious dry cleaner I've ever been to. They actually realize that the clothes people bring in to dry clean are probably the most expensive pieces in their wardrobe - things they want to take care of and make last. I second and third all of the positive comments already posted. The fact that they actually do their own dry cleaning in house and on site, makes a huge difference as they are not just outsourcing your clothes. My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to Redondo Beach almost eight years ago. Lori (Laurie?), the owner, and her team do a fantastic job every time. If they can't get a stain out, they tell us why. Stain removal has become much more common for me now that I have a toddler! Since trying Expo Cleaners, we have never gone anywhere else - even though we get coupons all the time for other cleaners. That's how good they are. We've also had several garments altered and repaired here (suits, slacks, skirts, formal dresses, and maternity clothes), and we've always happy with the results. There are two street parking spots right in front, but there is also a parking in lot in back of the building as well as spots in the lot between it and the aquatic center next door. Don't be put off by the simple, slightly run-down exterior; this truly is a great place run by great people, and I can't recommend it more highly. read more
