Excellent service! I came here once before and felt the lady was a bit rude, but could be the language barrier. lol came here today to get my button sown back on my jacket, which they said it would take 30 mins when I called. But I walked in and she did it for FREE in two minutes! This is a win for me, not saying you will get free service read more

Unfortunately of coming here for years and them doing my cloths right came to and and after and accident happened and my pants shrunk, and once I went back to talk to the lady about it she simply told me it didn't happen here and that for so many years it nothing ever happens. She simply told me it was my problem not hers when it was same day pick up and try on after spending 50 dollars for a couple of pants. I wasn't expecting her to buy me pants I was only expecting her to meet me half way or even considering a refund but no. She was very rude and un professional. read more

I rarely need dry cleaning or alterations but I found this place near my house and the service was exceptional. I called on a Saturday to have tailoring done to my suit and requested to have it ready by Wednesday. However, something came up and wasn't able to go in until Monday and the nice lady still took me in and promised it would be ready by Wednesday! That's amazing considering they had many other clients and a pretty hefty order. Prices were fair $12 for a hem, $36 for taper, $36 for shortening suit jacket! Will continue to support this business. read more

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS if you are a person of color!! I questioned the price she was charging to clean my white blazer, and she shoved the blazer back to me and told me to go. I have supported small businesses in Torrance for over 20 years, and never have I been treated with such a lack of self-respect. This was not the first time this lady treated me disrespectfully; I returned thinking maybe she was having a bad day and trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Now that she does not want my business, I feel embarrassed and disrespected. read more

They think cleaning clothes is optional. Took a blazer in and they didn't get the tiny stain out and told me they still had to charge me. Also they hem pants badly, ruined some expensive jeans of mine. read more

I would not recommend this place of business, if someone wants dry cleaning. They can not even get out small stains on a t shirts or everything else, the lady always says she'll try her best for the smallest stains. It's like you are supposed to bring your clothes to them clean to get clean, I really don't understand. I been there multiple times but nomore I understand you can't get everything out all the time but for a business to be called a cleaning place to say you'll try every time is unacceptable and to make a new stain were the original was at is not professional. Go at your own risk read more

Need dry cleaning? This is the place. This little spot is located behind the famous Steve's on 182nd & prairie. There's a parking lot in front. I've never had problems with parking because they're fast. Everyone there is friendly, and welcoming. I've been coming here for years. I took my son's jrotc uniform in there and his button fell off, and guess what? They fixed it! How many places do that? They even got a coffee stain removed from my favorite blouse. If you want a reasonably priced drily cleaners this is the spot. You got stains that you can't get out or clothes pressed this is seriously the place. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Very disappointed that they changed hours and did not notify people. I got there at 6:30 thinking they didn't close till 7pm and they were closed. I needed to pick up my dry cleaning for a my trip and now I'm SOL. Very disappointed read more

Family run business with great work ethics. When I picked up my cleaning, the lady handed me $40 dollars and I wondered why. Apparently, it was left in one of the pockets of my dirty clothes. That's what you call honesty. I also had several alterations performed there with ease and quick turnaround times. read more

I took new curtains to them to be hemmed. Three panels are okay, but the fourth one is two inches shorter than the others. For $20 per panel, they should have at least admitted that they ruined the one panel and refunded the $20 they charged, but instead they hid it and said nothing. I won't do business with anyone that dishonest ever again. read more

this place doesn't even clean your clothes right. they want to charge extra for every little stain that comes off with a regular wash. they charge a lot for alternations. read more

I actually went to this dry cleaners this morning and brought two coats and a dress. There was an Asian lady at the counter and she quoted me the following for my items. 1) Coat $25 to dry clean (RIDICULOUS!!) 2) Coat 2 $30 to dry clean (RIDICULOUS!!) 3) Dress $5 to dry clean (this is acceptable) $60 TOTAL TO DRY CLEAN 3 ITEM OF CLOTHING?!!? At first I thought she was joking and I literally laughed but she was serious. I told her that's ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I've never been to a dry cleaner that charges $25 just to apply chemicals to your clothes and call it "clean". I AM NEVER COMING HERE! I went to the dry cleaners down the street in Lawndale and they charged me $15 TOTAL for all three items of clothing. Thanks for nothing Smile Cleaners, I would give you 0 stars if I could, never coming here again! read more

Had a great experience here. This place did an excellent job with my shirts and suits.

I've been taking my clothes here for many years and am still satisfied at not only their service but their prices. The family that owns this place is wonderful, friendly, and professional Recently I brought some silk fabric to them and asked me to make a few scarves for me for gifts. The scarves came out beautiful and they didn't overcharge me despite silk being unbelievably hard to sew. I will Continue to go to Smile Cleaners even though I don't live nearby anymore. They are well worth the drive and I encourage everyone in North T Town to stop by for dry cleaning or alterations. read more

Great Cleaners!! Nice Family owned Joint. I always bring my clothes here! they always Do a superb job and always get it ready on time for me, I come here usually to alter my dresses or my pants and dry clean my coats. BUT i knocked off a star cause their prices can be pretty steep. Ex: ill Bring in my jeggings which costs me only $10- and they charge me $7 for it. i use to bring all my stuff here, even the stuff thats costed me a mere $7, the minimum they charge here is $7.00 so some items isn't really worth it to bring here to hem. original bottoms hems costs more.. probably around $12 or so. (NOT completely sure) the place i usually went to back home they charged me $4-5.00 for slacks or leggings, and did a legit job as well thats why i say this place charges pretty steep even for cheaper items. they also own the laundromat next door as well. read more

Wonderful service. Smile Cleaner's is one of my go-to dry cleaners in the South Bay. Service is superb. Owners are so friendly and accommodating! Turnover time is quick and quality of cleaning is great. Prices are reasonable, most recently I had a jacket dry cleaned for $13. read more

I've been coming here since High School... My parents have been coming here way longer then I have... I have nothing bad to say about SMILE CLEANERS.. They are always professional to my parents and me.. So if your looking for a cleaners in North Torrance area this is the place.. read more

The crew here is very nice and I haven't had a problem with any order. I've come here for press, steam, hem, spot remover and they have all turned out great! I don't like to do this to them unless it's an emergency but they were able to hem my pants in 1 day (brought them in at 7am and picked up after 4pm). Other places I get the evil eye for requesting the and the ladies here are understanding and I am so appreciative of their help. That's why i definitely recommend this place! read more

I go here once in a while to get dry cleaning done and it leans a little towards the pricey side, but it gets the job done. Today I went to drop off a jacket for dry cleaning (heavy duty dickies) and it came out to $13. I honestly can't complaint since they had a 24 hour turnaround which is great. read more

DO NOT USE SMILE CLEANERS!! VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS!! Been coming to this place for decades and the owner flat out lied! She refused to take responsibility for doing alterations when the clothes WERE STILL ON THEIR HANGERS! She denied doing the work when she was the one to take the measurements! This place may seem good to you...until something goes wrong and the owner doesn't back the customer, even when all the evidence is in front of her! DO NOT USE SMILE CLEANERS!! read more

Good Service! They did a really good job with cleaning my clothes! I paid $18 to get a skirt, one shirt and one jacket cleaned and it was ready in two days..Try it out if you live in the area! read more

I like this cleaners- they have everything ready when they promise, they do a thorough job cleaning the clothes, and they do alterations. Not much more you could ask. read more

Over priced and no loyalty to long time customer. Not even a small discount. I believe small business such as this should be more flexible with how they run business. There are many Cleaners and alteration around. read more

I like their service. The lady working was professional and even pointed out I was missing a button on my jacket.

Smile Cleaners is my alternative to the cleaners near my house. The lady behind the counter really smiles a lot too! Nice, brisk service. It appears that they do the dry cleaning on the premises. I had my 6 pieces cleaned in 2 days for $32. That's pretty reasonable, I think. read more

Great laundromat because: 1. CLEAN 2. family owned and operated 3. friendly onsite staff 4. affordable Yay!!! I always come here :) read more

I found this dry cleaner a couple of years ago when I moved into the neighborhood. They have always been helpful and friendly and they go the extra mile to make sure my clothes look great. As an actor, I appreciate their dedication because it makes me look good on set. Their service is fast and their prices are very fair. Recently, I had the misfortune of my dog getting sprayed by a skunk and having her run into our bedroom and rub her nose on our comforter before we knew the extent of the smell. We brought the comforter in and were more than pleased that it was clean and fresh smelling, thanks so much! read more

I have been a patron of Smile Cleaners for over 15 years. I am very happy with their service and I am happy to support small businesses like this in our community. They have been wonderful throughout the years - Thank you, Smile Cleaners! read more

Very nice people , had a few jeans hemmed here . Great job ! 2 day turn around on hem.

Tend to agree with most reviews but I have had 2instances where close were lost , actually given to other customers. Happened again today but got no satisfaction from owner because # of pieces matched ticket which obviously was counted incorrectly when dropped off. Hopefully the other customer will return it this time also. In the meantime cleaners are a dime a dozen and will never use them again. read more

I'm a teacher and I drive by here on my way home everyday, so I thought I'd try this place out. The service was great, but it's way over priced. I won't be going here again. I've never paid that much for dry cleaning before. read more

I'm so happy that I found this business! They are so sweet and their prices are far more reasonable than their competitors. They help make my clothes look and stay sharp. I've also had clothing tailored and they did a phenomenal job. read more

I used this cleaner for years and really liked them until I visited and they told me they wouldn't clean my items for me. I'll never use them again read more

Love them! Wouldn't go anywhere else they're so friendly and they do a great job. We get our clothes cleaned weekly and they always have it ready to go the following day. There have been multiple instances where we've left cash in the pockets and they returned it to us every time without fail. They're honest and hard working people and we are their customers for life! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!! DISHONEST BUSINESS AND WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES. I have been a very very long time customer and today I am no longer one. I am so surprised and disappointed. They are nice and friendly BUT I took 7 pairs of expensive slacks to be hemmed and taken in. I was hesitant because several years back I took a few pairs of pants and they came back really really short. However, I saw a different women at the sewing machine so I thought I would try again. HUGE MISTAKE!! All 7 were way way too short. I came in today to have the hems taken down only to have the owner tell me that they didn't do the work! It was just two weeks ago! I don't go anywhere else! I didn't take these pants anywhere else and the pants were still on their hangers that they use. I also showed her where she took in the pants which I questioned her about at the time. She was pinning the crotch area instead of the sides on the hips. Yet she still said they didn't do the work and showed me their stitching is different and that is the Korean way. I told her that this is the only place that I go but she refused to admit she did the work. This is dishonest and bad business! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE! read more

We love this dry cleaners! They are friendly and now they know us so well, they remember our last name when dropping off, and when we go to pick up our clothes, it's already hanging in front soon as we enter. Great service and work! read more

I took a dress to this cleaners to get a tiny stain out. My dress did establish that it was "Dry Clean Only". I went in with a smile. I was taken a back by how rude the lady was especially since the place is called "Smile Cleaners". How ironic. Well anyways I took the dress in on a Tuesday and she said I can pick it up on Friday late afternoon. I was not in a rush so I found it as being an okay return time even thought it was a simple request. When I returned to pick up the dress I didn't notice anything really wrong with it since it was in a clear plastic covering which made it harder to pronounce anything tiny. So I paid her and left. A few days later I put on the dress and right as I stepped out the door I noticed a snag on the front of the dress. Looked like parallel rips. Very tiny but that was not there before!!! The dress was new and I wore it once before I took it in! I will never return to this cleaner. I do not appreciate taking my close in for a minor cleaning and then getting it back with tears and rips in it!!! If you are thinking of this place I highly suggest to find somewhere else to go. I mean why pay someone to ruin your clothes? read more
