Maureen is very skilled in her work. She took in some inches around my bust and added a bustle for the long train on my dress. Her prices are fair and affordable, and she has a quick turn around time for alterations! For my wedding dress, she had it ready in 2 weeks. My wedding dress zipper kept getting stuck even though tried to adjust it, so she replaced the whole zipper entirely, and it was perfect! I also brought my reception dress here for alterations as well. After my wedding, I brought both dresses and my veil back for dry cleaning, and she had it ready for pick up in 3 days. I will definitely recommend her to everyone I know. She did a wonderful job!!

When I came in, my total to be paid at pick up was at $110. $90 for the hem, $20 for the shoulder. Of course, a quote is dependent on material, difficulty, etc., so I did not complain, but quote versus actual prices ended up being almost double. For a satin, a-line, unlined dress, this price was higher than what any from my group of bridesmaid with the same dress paid at other places. When I came in to pay and receive the dress she again upped the price by $5, making my total $115, which I found out after, was not the price given on my receipt when the dress was dropped off ($110) The actual work was fine and did the job, and the shop owner was very nice, but I do not think I would return here after my own personal experience.

Machines that were broken last time I was here are still out of order. The maintenance and housekeeping of the area is also ignored. WHEN the owner is here (which is rare) he's usually just in his seat watching videos instead of attending the floor or cleaning up a bit. This place has also become like a washroom for transients/homeless people. I have no reason to make this up: my last 4-5 times here, there's been at least one homeless person walk in and use the sink as their own bathing area: owner doesn't seem to mind. Walked in today, no employees at all during my 90 minutes of washing, and witnessed a homeless lady just roam around the machines, seeing what she could snag up. Such a shame because the prices are actually fair. But if this place continues to be unattended and unclean, it will go from my last option to not being an option at all

The owner honored the quoted price. UNFORTUNATELY, a week after actually unzipping the suit out from the garment bag, The buttons from my custom suit were chipped. I have not addressed this issue with the owner, but at this point, I'm not sure there is anything they can or will do. It would have been a different issue if I looked at it and scanned the suit before leaving the dry cleaner.
