After owning the car no less than two weeks, I was quoted $2,200 of work to be done, on a car I paid $20,000 for. I called AJ and he refused to make things right with replacing the oil gasket, and he wouldn't even offer to replace the tires. The only agreement we could come to was that we split the cost of tires, and he quoted me $300 to split the tires which I agreed. Today he called me, quoting me double, close to $600 for getting the tires, make me pay $600 for his mistake. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I strongly advise anyone who reads this to avoid this business. Not only is the owner breaking the law by selling me a car with tires that are 9 years old, he endangered my and my families well being and safety, so he can make more of a profit. This man and business is unethical, avoid at all costs. I deeply regret buying a car from Budget Auto Sales.

Why did the first person I spoke with say that I needed my title? Why did the next say I didn't because it was registered to me? And the last one try to tell me I needed the title? Why did your driver shove the other person's bumper into the back seat of MY car, ripping and staining the interior? Why did you not respond to one single inquiry that I made online, since all I was trying to do was locate my car? All of these questions land on one answer, because you had the intent to sell my car, you are thieves. I may have been in an accident, and had I not smacked my head, I would not have let my car be towed by you, not when I have my own roadside assistance. But as soon as your driver saw that I started AND drove my car to the other side of the freeway, he stopped answering questions and providing me with information (like where it was going, it's on the slip was his answer, no surprise, it wasn't) because he, like you, knew that it would get maximum $ at auction. Hence the fast lien(in case I was able to get the car, you get to charge for that) and, wait for it, a SECOND charge for the filing for a lien. This company is ran by and staffed with half-wits and thieves at best. I know my next move, but I hope you get so much more than you deserve. You may tell yourselves that you're not that bad, good even. But deep down, you know what you all are, and what you all deserve. I just hope that I have the opportunity to give you some of it.

Working with Dustin Torres was such an immense pleasure!…read more I totaled my 4Runner in a freeway rollover accident a month ago, and while I was incredibly lucky to walk away with only whiplash and some bruising, the last four weeks have been anything but easy. Given how well my 4Runner protected me in the crash, I knew I wanted another, but finding exactly what I wanted, with all the features I wanted, and that I could afford ... not so easy. Dustin walked me through a bunch of options, answered a lot of sometimes-stupid questions, and was very patient and kind throughout. I had been considering Carmax/Carvana options before this, 100% because I didn't want to deal with a car salesperson. But then I read so many horror stories about those services, I felt like I was stuck. Enter Dustin who, at the end of this entire process, feels more like a friend than someone who was trying to sell me something. He got me into a super sweet used 4Runner and then took me through a list of options I could roll into my loan if I wanted (I bought my last 4Runner at a Reno dealership, and that didn't happen - didn't even know such an opportunity existed). The finance process felt pretty painless, which was exactly what I needed, because my head still wasn't 100% clear, and that's a scary condition under which to go into debt! I never felt pressured or in any way hesitant or unsure. Lots of honest communication before the day of purchase had really set me up for an easy go of it. I am so happy to be back in a 4Runner, and with a local dealership, where I can stop in anytime, if I have questions. Huge thanks to Dustin and the whole team there who helped me. Very grateful.

Previously when my Jeep had a minor problem, Brandi took care of contacting my extended warranty. The problem was fixed and I paid the $200.00 deductible. Friday was a very different experience. I arrived at 7:20 for a 7:30 appointment. I was told to get back in line because the dealership doesn't give appointments. I got back in line and when it was my turn I told the gentleman what the problem was. He asked if I needed a ride home and I said "yes". I was waiting for 15 minutes or so, when Ernie came up and asked what I was doing. I told him that I was waiting for a ride. In a rude way he said you haven't even checked in. I told him that I thought I had. We went to his desk and I told him about the violent shake. He acted like he had never heard of such a thing. He informed me that I would have to pay the diagnosis charge and that it would not be covered under either warranties. I was shocked because the shaking is a big and dangerous problem with jeeps. I called a couple of places and they said it is a big problem with Jeeps, but it is usually not hard to fix, and the extended warranty covers the repair. At the end of the day it is too bad that Brandi was out that day. I really liked the dealership. In fact, my daughter was going to look at buying a new Jeep from your dealership, but now has decided to buy a Toyota 4 Runner. I have looked at your reviews and other people have had similar problems. I have learned a valuable lesson and that is to read the reviews.

My husband and I originally bought our first vehicle from Eagle Valley Motors when our credit was…read morelimited and our budget was tight. At the time, they were willing to work with us, which we appreciated. The first vehicle we purchased was decent for a used car, though it did have some transmission issues. We understood that can happen with used vehicles. Later, as our family grew, we returned to upgrade to an SUV through the same salesperson. After several hours of paperwork and discussions, we agreed on a vehicle but had to drive all the way to Reno to pick it up. When my husband started driving it, we immediately noticed multiple issues: the tires were very worn (one even had a screw in it), the motor mount was damaged, and the vehicle shook when driving over 60 mph. The key we were given was not programmed to the vehicle, and the interior was extremely dirty. Even after the dealership took the vehicle back for repairs and detailing, it still wasn't properly cleaned. We brought these concerns to the salesperson and requested that the necessary safety repairs be completed before moving forward. Although the vehicle eventually went into the shop, we had to follow up several times. When we picked it up again, the key was still not programmed, and we were told we would need to pay about $100 ourselves to have it done. We were also never provided with the additional keyless entry key the vehicle requires. My biggest concern, however, was the financial side. When we purchased the vehicle in mid-January, we arranged a payment plan with the salesperson for the down payment since it was already very high, even after trading in our previous vehicle. After making our first payment on that agreement, we were suddenly told our payment increased by about $70 due to a "lien adjustment," which had never been mentioned beforehand. On top of that, we were asked to return just days after signing because the dealership made an error on the original contract and needed us to sign a new one. Overall, this experience involved multiple repair issues, unexpected costs, contract mistakes, and poor communication. I recommend anyone considering purchasing from Eagle Valley Motors to go elsewhere.
