Why did you already start a lien on my vehicle before I knew where it was at? Why did you tow it to Sparks instead of Carson? Why did the first person I spoke with say that I needed my title? Why did the next say I didn't because it was registered to me? And the last one try to tell me I needed the title? Why did your driver shove the other person's bumper into the back seat of MY car, ripping and staining the interior? Why did you not respond to one single inquiry that I made online, since all I was trying to do was locate my car? All of these questions land on one answer, because you had the intent to sell my car, you are thieves. I may have been in an accident, and had I not smacked my head, I would not have let my car be towed by you, not when I have my own roadside assistance. But as soon as your driver saw that I started AND drove my car to the other side of the freeway, he stopped answering questions and providing me with information (like where it was going, it's on the slip was his answer, no surprise, it wasn't) because he, like you, knew that it would get maximum $ at auction. Hence the fast lien(in case I was able to get the car, you get to charge for that) and, wait for it, a SECOND charge for the filing for a lien. This company is ran by and staffed with half-wits and thieves at best. I know my next move, but I hope you get so much more than you deserve. You may tell yourselves that you're not that bad, good even. But deep down, you know what you all are, and what you all deserve. If I could leave zero stars, I would. We were told to leave a four-hour window for pickup from 8 a.m. to noon. That window came and went. We called twice and were told they were running late because of "police calls." They never called us with an update and never showed up on the appointment date. The least they could have done was call to reschedule instead of making one of us wait around all day for nothing. Woke up to a dead battery. Called AAA who dispatched D&S Towing. Tim called me to ask a few questions and was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and knowledgeable. Roy came to the house. Super guy, very service-oriented. Unfortunately, they didn't have the battery my truck required, but jumped the vehicle and I was able to drive into town and have a battery installed. NOT GOOD. My car was blown into a small snow embankment a long with 4 other cars ahead of me. Bumper barely wedged in it ,no damage.I didn't need a tow truck but D&S tow truck came. I had 80.O0 on me and asked him to pull car out of embankment that's it!!!I could've dug it out myself. He told me to get in can of the truck. I did and he pulled my car out and put it on tow truck I told him NOT to do this. HE IGNORED ME. Got in truck and said he's taking it to toward because it's damaged .. These guys must have Capes in their trucks! I contacted AAA to get my truck towed. I was on 395 between Stephanie and Johnson. I was on my way home to my young son, it was just past 4 and had some random Tow Co. Show up, lower the flatbed to my truck, then tell me they couldnt take me where I needed to go..I waited 2 more hours, limped my truck home, tried AAA one more time and got an IMMEDIATE call from D&S Tow, telling me a truck was on its way. Also telling me that they were going to take my truck to the yard, so that on Monday a.m, I would be 1st up to get my truck to Sacramento. Welp, here it is, Sunday, and this a.m, I got two calls; 1- that my truck was being delivered to the Dealership in Sacramento(ONE DAY EARLY!!!). Then a call to confirm WHOM to leave my truck with! My daughter n laws car broke down in an intersection this morning. She had my 1 year old granddaughter with her in the car . I called AAA roadside service which dispatched a tow truck . The first thing they ask , are you in a safe location. NO she was not . D&S would not dispatch a tow truck for 90 minutes. A mom and a baby stuck in an intersection and that was the best they could do . The sheriff said it was not safe and canceled the D&S call through AAA. They called out a different tow truck company right away. One that did not take AAA. So not only did D&S not make this call a priority. She had to pay 200.00 out of pocket to have her car towed !! Bobby, the general manager of this towing company was absolutely rude to me over the phone. Basically raised his voice at me, for a problem on their end. Making rude statements that how he doesn't wanna resolve the problems that his worker did on my towing and that he would lose groceries in his refrigerator (personal much). I was baffled by the way he spoke to me. From reading the owners highlight, they stated that they provide the highest expectations and making their customers feel comfortable. They kept telling me it would be at my house soon and promised it would be here before 11p.m. Then at 11:30 I called again and the lady I had talked to went home. Our car was towed to D&S towing in Carson City NV. Went to get the car out of there yard but we wanted to see what damage was done to the car. The car was not drivable on the roads. The office person Beth was helpful and she Called some old guy I think his name was (Chet) not sure. When Beth was on the phone with him she kept asking him if he was awake. He showed up at the counter from a door behind us. He was very rude and argumentative with us. It seamed like he did want to go outside so we could look at the car. He rushed us looking at the car. Came back ing side and Beth told me it would be one price and the old guy said no there is a fee of $50.00 to drive the car out of there lot. Beth said that was not right. Then another costumer said it was illegal to charge that fee. The old guy and Beth got into an argument about the fee. Went to a back room and when they came out Beth said that the fee was not going to be charged. We have AAA roadside service and he said he could not tow us to the tire shop and by this time we did not want him to tow our car. We finally got a another tow company to come and tow our car. We waited from 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm and not one phone call from AAA on the status of the tow. D&S towing called AAA and canceled our tow on us. What slime balls they are. Don't ever use D&S TOWING. Also they did not know you can't walk into the DMV in Nevada because I needed to get a copy of the registration. I looked on line and was able to get that online for $5.00. Way to go D&S. read more

My husbands work delivery van was broken down needing a tow. He was told I the wait would be 60-90 minutes. I met him on site since he needed a ride. We have now waited 3 hours after calling multiple times. We were told by Desiree and Nicole that we would be serviced within 25 minutes the first time we called after waiting 90 minutes, and then told we would be waiting 45 minutes after waiting 2 hours. After that time had lapsed we gave them a call again and we were told that they were going to pass off our tow because they can't get to us. Absolutely terrible customer service we have been waiting for far too long. We have our 2 year old in the car and have been treated with complete disregard. Do not choose this company. This company is a joke. Had a flat on our motor home and called AAA for some help changing it. I pay extra to have the RV covered for this sort of thing. D & S tow shows up, calls AAA and tells them it is unsafe to change it! Claim our RV is a diesel pusher and he doesn't have she proper jack. Our RV is not a diesel pusher and has hydraulic leveling jacks to lift it off the ground. They left us stranded and additionally told AAA a bunch of lies to justify their fat lazy driver not doing a thing. Don't count on this place. I called this company to request a towing quote and to schedule a tow for the next morning. I asked that they be there to tow my car between 8 am-10 am as my appt was at 11 am. With it being winter, making any car appointment is difficult as many cars start to have issues. It was pertinent that my car made it to the dealership on time so that I did not have to forfeit my appointment. Fast forward to the morning of pickup, I had been awaiting pickup since 8 am, as promised. I look at my clock and see 830 pass, 930 pass, and next thing I know it's 1030 am, no tow truck. Please remember the truck was to be here between 8am and 10am and that this was an appointment, with the tow company, scheduled in advance. I call at 1030 to check on my tow and the woman gets very short with me and finally says that she will be dispatching a truck to my address. At 1050 I call the dealership to let them know that my car will be arriving late, due to the truck being late. The dealership says that if my car is not there by 11:15, they will not have time to look at my car. The tow truck doesn't arrive until 10:56. I didn't get his name, but the tow operator was extremely polite, professional, and understood the urgency of getting my car to the dealership. He loaded my car quickly and left by 11:07. NOW THIS is where I really didn't approve of the service I received. A woman named Desiree called me to request payment (same dispatcher woman from earlier) I asked for a small discount seeing that the tow was 56 minutes late and she didn't bother to call to let me know that the tow would be late. She then got very hostile and accused me of refusing to pay for a service. I explained that I was not refusing to pay I was just asking her to see the situation from my side and to perhaps discount that service. At that point she then began to threaten to have the tow truck pick my car back up from the dealership and deliver it back to my house. She threatened this multiple times and continually talked down to me because I asked for a discount. I then asked for a manager, she claimed to be the manager and so I asked to speak to whoever was above her. She said she would have them give me a call. I received a call from a man, I can't recall his name, but he was understanding of my request for discounted service and gave me their weekday rate. He also apologized profusely for their lack of good customer service. He was very polite and helpful. read more

The female tow truck driver, I didn't get her name, went above and beyond what she needed to do, even going under the car to try to find the starter. I had both my wife and my mother in law with me, so we needed an extra vehicle to get to the shop. They brought one out to accommodate us at no extra charge and no static at all. Saturday evening about 9:00 PM, we heard a loud horn blast from what appeared to be a large truck. After going outside, found D&S Towing had pulled up to our gate and laid into his horn. He started backing up, and I signaled the driver. He got out and walked over to me and began cursing. Not knowing what he needed so late at night, I asked him to calm down and he cursed at me and said, "What the F*** do you think I am doing here?" I had no idea what he wanted as no one notified me that someone needed a jump start to their vehicle. I told him I was not going to help him by allowing him into the gate since it seemed all he wanted to do is have a bad attitude and continue to curse at me and I never did anything wrong.
