Zack was the person who provided the quote. When I contacted him, he was able to come out the same afternoon. By the way, he accommodated my schedule and I was impressed with his flexibility. He was very through as we discussed the installation and my options. He answered all of my questions, plus some I didn't ask, but was glad he did. I asked him to give me 2 quotes, one base install, and one with the bells and whistles. When I saw the quotes, I was presently surprised because I was expecting a much higher number based on the quotes I received from other companies. Before scheduling the installation, I wanted to add some concrete first. Zack referred me to a company he works with regularly. I met with his concrete guy, and decided to work with him as well because his level of professionalism matched Zack's. The concrete crew was able to come out the next morning and completed the work in one day. After the concrete cured, we scheduled the patio installation. The installation crew arrived on time and one of them explained to me what they would be doing while the others unloaded. The installation went smoothly, and they went above and beyond with the cleanup afterwards, leaving the area cleaner than they found it. I'm very satisfied with my experience with Built Right Patios.

Then life got in the way and delayed the project. We called Tony recently and he came out to refresh his memory and his new quote wasn't that far off from the old one. How's that for an honest man. He gives it to you straight. No upselling, no trying to talk you into something you don't want. He listens to what you want, gives his advice and you end up with a nice patio cover. Mike and Sergio really know how to do a great job. The first day, they came in, took down the old patio cover and left the patio clean and free of debris. I found that amazing considering the amount of dried up wood and splinters that were raining down on them. When it was time to install the new cover, they came back and did the job efficiently and with no problems. Again they left the patio clean. You can't go wrong with this company.

My husband got quotes and interviewed several companies and Tony was the most thorough and we felt like we could trust him with this project. He also had recommendations of companies that can do the other stuff (demo, roof repair, concrete) and they did a fantastic job as well. It was fairly smooth to get everyone on the same page and everything was done one after the other so the entire project from start to finish didn't take long at all. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to install a patio! We're really happy with the high quality outcome and he delivered on everything we wanted!

I received multiple quotes and had several contractors visit my home, but Ivan stood out immediately. He was friendly and upfront about what he was offering. While some contractors were vague about the permitting process, Ivan made it clear from the very beginning that permits were the right way to go and guided me through the process every step of the way. That transparency gave me a lot of confidence in choosing his company. One challenge with my project was that my backyard already had stone pavers installed. Ivan and his team carefully trenched the area, installed the required concrete footings, and then replaced the pavers so seamlessly that you would never know they had been removed. Their attention to detail was impressive. Ivan also provided valuable recommendations to help the patio cover withstand the high winds and extreme temperatures we experience in our area. Throughout the project, he was patient with all of my questions and my constant desire to check on the progress. As a homeowner excited about a major improvement, I appreciated his willingness to explain things and keep me informed. What I especially appreciated was that Ivan himself was actively involved in the work. It wasn't a situation where the person who sold the job disappeared and handed everything off to a crew. Ivan was there, working alongside his team and ensuring everything was done right. If you're looking for quality craftsmanship, fair pricing, honesty, and professionalism, I highly recommend Ivan and his team. I'm extremely happy with the finished patio cover and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Two things that impressed me the most is that his pricing is based on HIS cost and not YOUR zip code and that he's not happy, unless you're happy. He supervises the project constantly.
