Danny Vice of Fireplace creations or Fireplace Door Guy came up with an oustanding solution to our dated 1991 airtight tempered glass door fireplace. The old brass frame was just too much though the gas fireplace with its airtight and circulating fan can put out some heat. So we didn't want to replace it. Just put a solid looking wrought iron door over it. Also keep the very old Arizona Cyprus mantel. It actually has some old 44 caliber bullet scares from when used as a target in the late 1800s to early 1900s. May Dad found the long dead tree in the high plains area of Yavapai County in the later1980s. Danny worked with my better half and came up with a great door designed to fit. It did take a couple of months to build deliver and install. But it's beautiful and now that our stone & tile guy is done it transitioned this old dated fireplace into a world of beauty. The quality of the door is outstanding and Danny's friendliness and professionalism are very appreciated. The creativity in design fits perfect with the travertine stone stack and very old solid Arizona Cyprus mantel. I highly recommend them. Great quality for value.
Amazing work. Amazing customer service. The guys are easy to work with. Honestly giving a fire place a "makeover" is really not a top priority when budgeting a remodel, but I realized after we were done how how much it makes a difference. It's never cheap to remodel anything, but this company negotiates a Fair price. I had three fireplaces made over. I love the way my fire places looks now.
Danny was easy to work with and reliable. He is patient and listens to needs. There are so many choices! The fireplace doors we got were exactly what we wanted and it turned a dungeon like fireplace into a work of art!
If I could give them a Zero I would. PLEASE find another company that actually cares. This company has to be one of the worse companies that I have ever dealt with. Let's start with Tom, he's the actual sales person. Then we have Tim, he comes out, measures, promises and Fails! Then we also have Danny the owner, that according to the only nice lady that answers the phone he's never available. After weeks of going back and forth with Tom, I agreed on the over $2500 dollars door and regular log set. So, we set up a date and time for Tony to come to my home. As I was sitting in my back patio, a stranger (Tony) walks inside my home and makes it to the backyard. No Ringing the door bell, knocking on the door, just walked in. I overlooked his not so smart action. Tony, promised me that in 2-3 days he would have a sketch for me. I waited a week and nothing. I called, texted, left messages and got absolutely no responses. I sent a group text to Tom and Tony, and unbeknownst to Tom he was replying to Tony and obviously I could see it. As you could see, they only have approximately 70 reviews, if you read them you will see that this company lacks communication, and honesty. It appears that the only good reviews were the ones that the owner Danny handled. Why would you support a company thats selective on their customers? I was in the middle of construction, I stopped my Tile contractor, and this company wasted 6-8 weeks of my time. Please, do yourselves a favor and find a better company.
I knew this was going to be a pricey project so I stalled moving forward. When I finally made up my mind to proceed, I wondered why I waited so long! Vicky was helpful. Texts were answered promptly. Tony, the installer was very communicative and polite. I even changed my mind mid project and Tony captured everything I explained to him via phone call. Thank you!
I'm very pleased with my new fireplace doors! Tony is an excellent employee and explained how to use everything as he did the job. I also got ceramic logs. I'm excited for when the weather gets cooler! Thank you again for the beautiful craftsmanship!

We had a new fireplace door put in It took about 3 Weeks for a custom order door. It came out Beautifully. Tony came and measured and did the installation as well as the Chimney Cap. Tony takes pride n his company and his work. When I phoned the office they are courteous and follow up with you. Great Job
I wish I could give them a good review but since they never completed our job it boils down to this. They came out to measure & help us pick out the design for our door. We were told that it would be a few weeks before they would be done. A few weeks passed & they came out to install the door. It was made too small & they wanted to fill in the space with caulking. Like really, caulking in a fireplace?? Came back a month later & it was too big! We were then informed that we would be put on the top of the list & they were going to remake the door & install one week later. That week came & went with no correspondence from them. I finally called them & the person answering the phone had no clue but promised we were here something from them by the next day. Nope! I had to call again & was told "hmm Tony was supposed to call you" Days later I received a text stating they were not able to make a door for our fireplace. No explanation nothing!! If you look at his contract he offers a Yelp review with a $50 discount. Where is the $50 you offered for your Yelp review. !! I would never ever use him.
We had Tony from the Fireplace Door Guy come out and install our new beautiful Fireplace door today. He was on time and did a beautiful job making sure everything was perfect! He took his time and you can tell he was a perfectionist. Best part was he was super friendly with a wonderful personality! This guy needs a raise, seriously! We will be recommending Fireplace Door Guy to all our friends. Thank you Tony for your hard work!

Custom work takes more time than something mass-produced, and the Fireplace Door Guy company was up-front with me about how long each step would take. Danny came to my place twice, once to measure and once to install. Since my cabin was built in 1927, I expected my install to be a bit more involved than others, which it was, but there was no extra charge for the additional time and Danny was so kind about making sure I was happy with every detail. I recommend the Fireplace Door Guy without hesitation to anyone looking for custom fireplace doors. PS My hairless dog is in love with the new fireplace doors, too!
We were in the market to upgrade our 20 year old wood burning fireplace and found the Fireplace Door Guy. Tony gave us a visit, did measurements and showed us the beautiful catalog of all their custom fireplaces. We decided to make the purchase and within only a few weeks it was built and ready for install! We are wondering why we didn't do this sooner. This is the mostly highly recommended business in the Inland Empire and beyond. Very professional, friendly service and Veteran friendly! Give him a call and get your upgrade now!
This business is quality! Paul does amazing work and Jake is a perfectionist. We had a fireplace door installed and it looks beautiful! It took about 4 weeks to be made and installed but so worth the wait. There were so many different styles to choose from but they are so helpful when they come to your house on giving suggestions. We could not be happier with the service and quality craftsmanship.

I wish I could give them a good review but since they never completed our job it boils down to this. They came out to measure & help us pick out the design for our door. We were told that it would be a few weeks before they would be done. A few weeks passed & they came out to install the door. It was made too small & they wanted to fill in the space with caulking. Fast for how busy they are. Great communication, friendly people. Worked with me to figure out what would be best for our space. We were considering a new fireplace direct vent but the price would have been at least 2x and more complicated. This fit our budget and the results are fantastic! If you have a terrible looking fireplace this is worth it. read more

Another great job by Kevin at Fireplace Door Guy. They made sure the doors were perfect and even made a few adjustments so that I was happy. I recently ordered a custom fireplace door for an outdoor fireplace from the Fireplace Door Guy. It was a new design and a bit more complicated than a regular screen. But I wanted it to match the existing tile work and it does! Tony came out to measure and the fireplace is not square nor is the base on the stone level. We jointly agreed to inset the frame and Tony mastered filling the gap with a perfectly matching grout. We have high winds on occasion, so the team added interior removable metal panels that will allow us to keep any embers from getting past the screen. They did this for free and as a surprise for us! We had a small issue with a part of the welding. Tony took the doors back and they corrected the issue. Communication is excellent, pricing a little high, but worth it. I would definitely use the Fireplace Door Guy again. read more

Order a custome fireplace door from Fireplace Door Guy and it come out Amazing! The craftsman work and detail on our door is simply amazing! Tony was very professional during our initial visit and especially during installation. The door took 6 weeks to be done, but totally worth the wait. Communication with the company was great when we called to get updates we always received a call back immediately. Danny came out and went over several options to upgrade our outdated fireplace. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly professional and helpful with installation ideas that fit our budget and suggestions for finishing around the installation, tile and mantle ideas. Great experience! read more
We contacted Fireplace Door Guy and spoke with Danny. He was able to give me a quote over the phone right away. He also provided us with an additional discount for police/military. A lady from their office called me and scheduled a date for someone to come down for measurements. Tony arrived on time. He was very friendly and professional. He explained how the whole process works and approximately 4 weeks later he came back to installed our beautiful fireplace door! This is no flimsy door from Home Depot or Lowes. These doors are heavy, solid, top quality doors. The design matched beautifully with our home interior. Lifetime warranty! I definitely recommend this company. By the way, if you pay cash you get an extra 5% off your total and Danny didn't charge us tax, which was also a great incentive! read more

Danny from Fireplace Door Guy came out & installed 2 drop dead killer fireplace door hand made door on our fireplaces. Took out the old contractor grade glass doors and got out home ready for open house. Buyers were very impressed with the upgrade. Would highly recommend this company and product. Can't find this kind of quality in Big Box stores. read more
