Exit Strategy was super fun! Took my mom and dad here as something different to do before I flew back to SF. It was challenging, but we completed it! (after begrudgingly buying more time) Alexis helped us through when we needed it. She was really patient and fun to talk to. Keep up the good work and keep puzzling!! read more

Extremely fun for your smart friends. Courtney was coy abs helpful when we needed her. Definitely coming back. Only five more minutes! !!!

We had a great time doing the Quest of Honor room today. Our host Aaron was great, gave us helpful hints without giving too much away. Our ten year old had a BLAST. The room's set was professional, everything was set up properly and worked the way it was supposed to and had fun ambience and design. We will definitely be back!! read more

This is what I call an escape game!! ABSOLUTELY fantastic! We couldn't of asked for better quality of game as well as the staff! Been to a few before and this was BY FAR the best that I have found. You guys rock! read more

Much, much harder than I anticipated! This place is perfect for date nights, large groups and work events. I just wish they gave you two hours instead of one!!! read more

Just had a blast here with friends. Picture this you are in a room surrounded by clues you just don't know it yet. Odd to eery sounds playing in the background. Dim flashlights to aid you. Now go! Countdown to find your way out pay attention everywhere you look something new will jump out at you. Shhh... What was that? We are coming back for round two. Birthdays, company team building, date night or just when they say "I don't know what do you want to do?" Game on...... read more

Didn't make it out but quite entertaining. Besides clues it's personalities that can make or break.

Way better than I expected! Kristen was a blast! She made our group feel really smart by pointing out the things we got a lot faster than other teams! Our group will be coming back for sure after our next Mensa meeting! read more

This place was AWESOME!!! I highly recommend this place for work functions, team building, group outings or just for fun! Maria was our host and was also awesome! She really helped sell the whole experience! Our team did the "Final Sacrifice" room but unfortunately did not get to finish it! So I will be back for sure! read more

Such a perfect rainy day activity! Alex was our guide and he was very helpful and friendly. He made us feel at ease, and let us know that we could get out safely at any time. Whenever our group was getting stuck, he gave us clues to keep us going. Definitely want to come back and try another room! read more

My company did this as a team building event. It was a lot of fun. I would like to go back with some friends and see if we can get out. Mercedes was great! read more

Always a great time trying to escape one of the themed rooms. Done several now, some you win some you lose. Always lots of thought in each room to make it as enjoyable as possible. Always helps when you manage to break out!! Thanks Alyssa for being a terrible Astronaut and allowing us to save the ship! read more

Great place with a friendly staff, customer service is great and puzzles are challenging. Would recommend to anyone living in the area or visiting. read more

Brought 8 12-year old boys for my son's birthday party. They had a blast doing Bank Heist. Amanda was our organizer and she was terrific. We got a few clues and finished in less than 1 hour. So much fun to watch. Some of the boys were 11, and they asked that we have 2 adults for the group. We paid for the whole room so we didn't have read more

We are visiting from Colorado. And wanted to do something different. This was so much fun! The workers were very friendly and helpful. We had Kelly as our game master. She was amazing and a lot fun. Definitely worth the money! read more

I can't begin to tell you how classy this establishment is. It surpasses any other escape room I've been to. The staff is friendly, upbeat, and genuinely excited for you when you play. Each room is different, yet so much fun in its own way. This place surely takes the cake. read more

Went there today as part of a team building exercise for work and was a blast. I cannot wait to take the wife.

I recently did cabin in the woods for a re-do (he he) with my parents and sister along with 4 strangers. It was definitely a lot of fun. Without giving it away, I do however think that part of this room is potentially exerting, particularly for those who have back or even certain cardiovascular-related problems and can't be in awkward positions for very long. On another note, I do think that changing some clues around, particularly for re-dos would make it more challenging. I strongly recommend this fun activity for all kinds of people. read more

This weekend we did Cabin in the Woods and Lost in Space. Cabin in the Woods was our first escape room experience. We played with a mixed group of 10. It was fun. While it could have used more props to feel like an actual cabin the room had several interesting and varied puzzles - some including physical aspects. We had a great experience and the team collaborated well. I give this room a 4/5. Today we went back and did Lost in Space. We played with a group of 8 (two of us and another family of 6). They basically ignored our existence and didn't share information. Once they saw how helpful we could be their tune changed slightly but it was still a pain and took away from the experience quite a bit - I was bordering on asking for a refund. The room itself was ok - not great. It says you have to be 21 because of expensive stuff in the room - not sure why as there wasn't much breakable. The several times they gave us clues when we didn't ask for them and we finally had to tell them to stop! Not sure how much of my lackluster experience on this one was the room or the team. Could have easily been either. I give this room a 3/5. read more

Great time for all .. Great way to spend an hour. Exciting and fast paced. Wish we had more time. Cannot wait till we do it again.

Awesome experience! First time in an escape room. Did Cabin in the Woods and really enjoyed it. Difficult to solve, we needed multiple clues from the game master, but we escaped the room by solving the puzzles. Plan on trying some more of the rooms. read more

I went with a group of 3 other friends for a surprise birthday idea and we loved it!! We tried murder mystery and we were busy throughout the whole hour trying to solve the room. We didn't end up making it out in time but we had a great time trying to figure it out, very challenging! We will definitely be coming back! read more

This was so much fun!!!! We did the Quest of Honor and it was magical! If you are into magic and even remotely into the King Arthur legend, you will love this. There was a lot to discover and spells to cast that actually made certain things happen. We did solve the room - with a few hints from CJ. I wish I could do the same room again, though it wouldn't make any sense to do so. I can't imagine enjoying a room more. read more

Played Lost in Space room and "had a blast"! Lol!! Lindsay our gamekeeper was awesome! I highly recommend checking this place out...especially if you've never experienced an escape room game. (BTW: Try and "book the whole room" so it's just your group...makes it that much more fun!) read more

Our company visited Exit Strategy as a team building outing. We attempted to pull off a "Bank Heist" but weren't able to get to the jewels before the time ran out. Great fun and challenging at the same time. It will test your critical thinking skills, problems solving, communication, patience and more. Truly a full range of emotions as you try and work your way through the room. Look forward to giving it another go soon. Lindsay from Exit Strategy did a great job as our guide. read more

We did the murder mystery which was super fun! Rob at the front desk was great and super accommodating. Courtney was our moderator and she made the game so much fun. Highly recommend! read more

My friends and I decided to check out Lost in Space this past weekend. We've already completed the other rooms at exit strategy south and were excited to take on the last room. Commander Campbell (our Gamemaster Kiersten) made sure to guide us on our mission and demand the respect as our commander. She did a fantastic job helping us out and never broke out of character - such a great act! helped answer any questions we had and made sure we had an awesome experience. The design of the room was really fun. We truly had a wonderful time in our last room at Exit Strategy South and always recommend our friends to check it out. read more

My friends and I have done every room at Exit Strategy. We love it there! We have also been to blackout and codescape which are both great, but E.S. Is our favorite. Great fun! We did Murder Mystery, and Mercedes was fantastic! ....we had less than 1 minute to spare, but we did it! Thank you for a great time! read more

We usually have a great time at exit strategy. We came to try the new room, Twisted. It was the worst escape room I've ever done, and I've done a lot. I've done almost every room exit strategy has offered (at both locations) and this was horribly done. We walked out of the room and have never done that before. The room is horribly designed and it doesn't take mental skill or thinking outside of the box like rooms usually do. We were too short to do one of the tasks, and another one of the tasks was so poorly designed that it kept saying we were making errors when we weren't. The locks were hard to maneuver even when we had the right codes. When you ask for hints, the voice that responds is so distorted that you can't understand anything. Most of our time in this room was spent asking for hints to be repeated over and over again because we couldn't understand. I left this room angry that I had wasted money. I usually love exit strategy, but I'll think twice about coming here again now that I've wasted money on that horrible excuse for an escape room. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ROOM. UPDATE!!!: The staff member I spoke with about my experience was more than willing to correct the issue! She was extremely friendly and explained that a few of the things were not issues with the actual set up of the room itself, but because of some outside factors. I will be returning soon! read more

Had such a great time!! We did the "Lost in Space" room. It had enough challenge to make it exciting, but it wasn't to the point of frustration. We completed the room with 5 minutes to spare with a group of 4 people! The staff were incredibly friendly and played the part very well. I would recommend coming here if you're looking for something fun to do, and would for sure come back to try other rooms in the future!! read more

My best friend booked Exit Strategy for me and 8 friends for my 30th. We were all super excited but left feeling like it was a rip off. We were doing well, and having fun & then we opened a clue that had a black light in it. There was a lamp with no bulb in the room so the obvious next step was to put the lightbulb in the lamp. A few of us tried, the lamp wouldn't turn on. So we figured we needed another clue for that part & tried to move on. 15-20 min later we called the girl on the walkie talkie and asked for a clue. She hinted to put the bulb in the lamp so we all tried again (we had an electrician in the room...the lamp was clearly broken.) after a few minutes she said she'd come try (she said she tried it before we came in and it worked fine). When she couldn't get it working she left to get another bulb (meanwhile, the clock continued to count down). 2nd lightbulb and it still wouldn't work so she said "well I guess the people before you were too rough with it." Ok...? But if she tried it before like she said how can she blame other people? So she leaves, calls us on the walkie talkie to tell us what we would have seen if the lamp had worked. She said a vegetable and something you clean yourself with...ummm if we could have SEEN the clue we'd know what vegetable so why give us a half of a clue? And why didn't she speak up when she saw 9 diff people try the bulb with no luck? There's a video camera that she was supposedly watching us on. Who knows, maybe she took a 15 min break at that time. So we waste all of this time bc of a broken lamp (no fault of ours) and then waste more time while she decides to try....I'm pretty sure we wouldn't sign up for exit strategy if we don't know how to screw in a light bulb. We asked if they'd give us extra time and she goes to talk to her manager and they decide we get 5 mins extra on the clock. Gee, thanks. We left with only 1 clue unopened and the girl didn't even apologize about the broken clue. For $225 an hour I think it's a total rip off. We won't be returning because whose to say we wouldn't get another room with broken clues. Considering you don't win a prize or anything Id think they should be a little more accommodating when they screw up. Poor customer service & way overpriced. Cool idea but I won't be recommending it to anyone read more

Went to Exit Strategy South for the 1st time and LOVED it! We even decided to stay longer until we WON & Kelly was super patient with us! BIG THANKS! Definitely coming back to try another room and bringing my friends, I know they will love it just as much as we did!! read more

I have to say first that I LOVE the idea of this thing, but it does not warrant a five star experience. First, I went on July 4th and was told I would be charged $2 off the regular price but then wasn't (hopefully they will fix that on their end). Second, I was in a group of 4 placed with another group of 4 and a group of 2 not knowing each other at all. Now this can either add to the fun or not. Guess what it didn't. Too many people running over each other, tearing the room apart, shouting out clues and not listening to one another. I found myself standing around for the most of the hour for fear that I would get trampled by the other people. I think it would be great in smaller groups like 4 or 5 but they have to make money I guess. Don't think I will go back unless it's with a smaller group. I would suggest going during the middle of the week or spending your $50 an hour on a nice steak dinner. read more
