Okay, so this was the most fun thing I've done in Olympia since I moved here two years ago. Designed by a Disney Imagineer, it's fun when you solve a clue and something happens in the room. Half our group did the Landlord Room and we did the Museum of Curiosities and both teams had fun and escaped. We thought we killed it but discovered we came in at novice level, lol. Gonna have to do that again. You won't see a lot of photos of this place because photos would reveal clues and what's the fun of having spoilers? The best thing about this place, as with all escape rooms, is working as a team with your friends, making stronger bonds as you work together to solve problems, discovering who is good at what and the unique ways they process things, along with all the Disney type surprises as you work things out, trying to beat the clock. Parking was easy since it was an evening downtown, and that in spite of the fact that there's a night club next door. The staff was helpful and did a great job signing us in and preparing us for what was to come. Can't wait to return with other friends to try the other room.

Didn't solve it but had a great time!

We had such a great time at Exit Puzzles Escape Room a few weeks ago. Our team was small (4) and only one of us had ever done an escape room before. But we were given all the instructions and context we needed. We absolutely loved doing this and had a fabulous time! We appreciated that the room is dynamic--it responds to how you're doing, and the team also coordinates the number of puzzles to the number of participants. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic place, great staff, amazing puzzles, and best escape room we've ever visited (museum of curiosity)-- We made it! Close call with 55 seconds to spare ... but it was exhilaratingly exciting!

Fun time but NOT ADA friendly. We went to the landlord escape. It was challenging and fun but the facility itself posed a bit of an issue for me. As a below the knee amputee when I booked the adventure for my friends and I, I was careful to steer clear of the one that mentioned crawling was needed. When we arrived, however, the room we were going to be playing in was at the top of an imposing - and steep - stairway. There was a banister to hold onto on one side and it was solid wood, but it was also very wide and it wasn't easy to get a secure hand-hold on it. When we got to the top the staff member's joke about using the elevator - oh right, we don't have one - seemed a bit inappropriate considering how scary going up the stairs was for me. The room itself was a good time and my friends and I enjoyed it. The only thing that spoiled it for me was the fact that when it was done I was going to have to go back down the stairs with the hand-hold on my off side, this time. I ended up dropping my dignity in favor of safety and scooted down on my rear - not something a 51 year old woman should have to do. I understand the cost of an elevator is inhibitive but a safety rail or a stair lift would greatly have improved my time there. Make no mistake, we're already booked to return, but this time and any future times, I will have to limit us to the ground floor room (s)? and that means less adventuring.

    Birthday party of friends.

Ask the Community - Exit Puzzles Escape Room

How many different rooms are there? I only saw one on the website.

We run different Escape Mysteries at different times. The best place to see our current Escape Rooms is to visit our website. If you've done all our rooms be sure to join our newsletter to hear about upcoming rooms in development :)

Would we be able to have our 15 mos old with us, either holding him or in his stroller?

Absolutely. We don’t know how much help they would be though :)

All of the employees have been super nice as well as committed to the immersion of the experience. This franchise has by far the best set design I've seen so far and I'm excited to try more of their rooms in the future. Both their Point Ruston and Gig Harbor location are great, though I'd recommend Temetra's Hex @Point Ruston. However it can be a bit challenging at some points so don't be afraid to ask your guide for a hint!

Our group of 5 completed Siren's Cove and had a total blast. From the set design, puzzle design, storytelling, lighting, sound, atmosphere, creativity - everything was top notch. All of us were engaged from start to finish, so many puzzles require you to think outside of the box while still making complete sense. By far my favorite escape room I've ever done. This one will be hard to top. That being said, I can't really say the mystery merch add-ons are worth the price. They seem better suited for younger folks, so be aware if you plan on ordering one. Jada was a wonderful game master, she was very welcoming and did a great job explaining escape room basics to some of the first-timers in our group. We'll be back!

There are lots of spacious rooms to do the virtual reality in, however you can run into the wall or fall The staff: The employees are always so nice, helpful, and informative. They always help you with the virtual reality gear (two hand things (apparently I'm not cool or trendy enough to actually figure out what the hand controls are called ) and the virtual reality headset). Also, we finished our escape room early and the employee there let us try five minutes of another virtual reality simulation because we hadn't used up our full hour with the other one. I was very impressed by their integrity with that, especially since we just had five minutes left and certainly wouldn't have noticed. Extra details: Half hour activities are $25 per person. One hour activities are $40 per person. They have options like laser tag, active shooter simulations (like shooting zombies and stuff), a few random simulations like cooking, and lots of virtual reality escape rooms. They have a lot of options, and the virtual reality gear is always clean. I've only done the escape rooms and they're actually pretty challenging. You can get hints within the simulation if you need them, and there's a constant timer as to how much time you have left. Final thoughts: It's a little spendy and virtual reality itself is always a little disorienting, but it's a very fun activity and team building exercise to do with friends or family!

They have many games to choose from so I suggest going to their website prior to visiting to check out which games you are interested in, so you can make the most of your gaming time. $25 for 30 min and $40 for 1 hour, if possible go for the full hour. It is your choice which games you want to play. Escape room type games take much longer and will eat up your time sometimes can take the full hour They have team games, versus shooting games, escape room games etc. Our favorites: Cook'd Up (work as a team, hilarious and lots of laughs, similar to the game overcooked) Plush Rush (work as a team, set up is like you are in the movie Toy Story and it's like a defend your base type of thing) Arrow song (similar type of shooting game but with arrows and a fantasy setting) *They have a hunting animals game and experiences where you can shoot each other too. We can't wait to go back and try the other games. Maybe next time without younger kids so we can try the zombie and "scarier" themed lol! *Wonderful customer service! *I easily get motion sickness but I was good throughout *Ideal for 8 years old and older *Lots of parking space available *They take walk-in's but highly suggest you call incase they are booked for a private event *Sandbox VR in Seattle & Kirkland charged $50-60 for only half the game play time(30 min) Dimension XR it's $40 for a full hour. Much more reasonable price and the reason we will be back.
