I wish I could tip this star system and really emphasize how wonderful the management and staff are. I accidentally booked a 16+ room, paying only attention to the FAQ page that said it is a great activity for all ages. I have done this before by accident, now I see it in all caps. I don't mean to be careless at all, nor inconvienance anyone. I booked a party for second graders. They were so nice. They flooded the clue gates and were gracious when one of the kids broke a prop . I was preparing for a confrontation or cold frot after we left, but they were warm and happy. We all were happy. This was one of the most sophisticated and impressive escape rooms we've seen. What a treasure for our beautiful city. And we got through, as the kids have said for the last night and day, with "5 seconds left on the clock". All seven elementary school girls were enthusiastic and rose to each challenge with intellect, humor and vigor. I can't impress upon you enough what a positive experience this was for my family. We had such an amazing time and I couldn't stop raving about it to friends and family. Okay, so this was the most fun thing I've done in Olympia since I moved here two years ago. Designed by a Disney Imagineer, it's fun when you solve a clue and something happens in the room. Half our group did the Landlord Room and we did the Museum of Curiosities and both teams had fun and escaped. We thought we killed it but discovered we came in at novice level, lol. Gonna have to do that again. You won't see a lot of photos of this place because photos would reveal clues and what's the fun of having spoilers? The best thing about this place, as with all escape rooms, is working as a team with your friends, making stronger bonds as you work together to solve problems, discovering who is good at what and the unique ways they process things, along with all the Disney type surprises as you work things out, trying to beat the clock. Parking was easy since it was an evening downtown, and that in spite of the fact that there's a night club next door. Fun time but NOT ADA friendly. We went to the landlord escape. It was challenging and fun but the facility itself posed a bit of an issue for me. As a below the knee amputee when I booked the adventure for my friends and I, I was careful to steer clear of the one that mentioned crawling was needed. When we arrived, however, the room we were going to be playing in was at the top of an imposing - and steep - stairway. There was a banister to hold onto on one side and it was solid wood, but it was also very wide and it wasn't easy to get a secure hand-hold on it. When we got to the top the staff member's joke about using the elevator - oh right, we don't have one - seemed a bit inappropriate considering how scary going up the stairs was for me. The room itself was a good time and my friends and I enjoyed it. The only thing that spoiled it for me was the fact that when it was done I was going to have to go back down the stairs with the hand-hold on my off side, this time. I ended up dropping my dignity in favor of safety and scooted down on my rear - not something a 51 year old woman should have to do. I understand the cost of an elevator is inhibitive but a safety rail or a stair lift would greatly have improved my time there. Make no mistake, we're already booked to return, but this time and any future times, I will have to limit us to the ground floor room (s)? and that means less adventuring. read more

My family brought me here for my birthday, as I had always wanted to try an escape room. We had my inlaws (in their 70's), all the way down to our teenaged kids and an 8 year old. We all had a blast. It was really set up well and the host was so awesome. He gave us hints when we were stuck but did not give us clues to actually solve the puzzle. We got soooooooo close. The technology and flow of everything was spectacular. The details were exceptional. It was really cool how we all worked together and I felt like it was really great quality time. I wish it wasn't so expensive (30 per person) but overall left very happy. Loved getting the pics with the funny comments at the end. Super fun! read more

What a fun experience! For Father's day my immediate family decided this would be our adventure. There was a total of six of us but there was 8 allowed in the room. They quickly reassured us that they were only allowing groups that knew each other in. Masks were enforced at the door along with plenty of hand sanitizer. Now to the room with no spoilers! The room adapted to your speed throughout the room which was super neat. If you were able to go thru the room fast, the room got progressively harder and harder. We did the Museum room and didn't finish it which was our first fail. The nice employee gave us a small clue and let us finish the last thing we couldn't figure out. Dude - hands down SUCH a cool new thing to try if you've never done an escape room before! I wasn't sure what to expect or how much I'd like this experience going into it, but now that it's all said and done... I want to try every escape room in the state. We came here as part of a double date night and ended up getting paired with another set of double daters. My fiance and I were kind of apprehensive about doing something for 70 minutes with complete strangers, but they turned out to be SUPER nice and really funny! And, we all worked really well together. This escape room was definitely well thought out. There are so many cool puzzles that you have to solve and so many different sides to the story that you really have to nail down. We had a hard time, but we ended up finishing the room with over four minutes left. Talk about suspense! I definitely recommend this room to ANYBODY. We even came all the way from Kent for this and it was totally worth it! read more

I've gone to several escape rooms, but this one by far has been my favorite. We did the Landlord's Office. The host/greeter was really into it and set the stage for us fantastically, which set the tone for the whole encounter. The room was large and had so many fun puzzles. I will definitely be going back when they open up the new room they have been working on. Only downside is that if you want to ensure you are in a group of your own friends, you do have to book all 8 spots, or someone random can join you. A lot of the rooms up in Seattle let you book the room just for your group, regardless of how many people end up going. However these rooms are smaller in size, and the hosts in my experience are less excited. So I'll take Exit Puzzles over them any day! read more

This place is so cool! My family and I made a reservation for a group of 10. The guy who helped us was super nice and funny. He gave a lot of useful information and answered all of our questions, he knows the escape room like the back of his hand. We had a really fun time doing it and finished with 2 minutes to spare. Even if you feel like you didn't contribute that much, finding one small clue can help your whole group. It's really a team effort and requires a lot of communication. The room itself is awesome and a little spooky. The story line that goes with it seems like it came straight out of Netflix. Too bad I can't say too much, but you'll see how great it is when you go and see for yourself. Totally worth your money! This is an amazingly fun escape room. Every single detail had been thought out, right down to the music (which I loved!) This is one of the harder escape rooms but don't let that stop you. While the goal is to solve the riddle/mystery/puzzle, even if you don't succeed, you are going to have an amazing time just trying. The staff are super cool and we had a great time just chatting it up with them. I can't wait for Exit Puzzles to build new rooms because we will be trying them out! Saturday our son treated the two of us and his/our family to a 70 minute tour of a puzzle room. I had seen an episode on Big Bang where they visited a similar activity - only it was to solve the puzzle before the Zombie had his chain's released. Here you have to solve all the puzzles and remove the locks from the trunk so you can discover what is inside - trust me - you want to find out. LOL It is challenging and the 6 of us had to work to solve the puzzles - but we did - with a few minutes to spare - and saved the day. What is nice is they are watching you - and if you get confused - something goes wrong - or you are simply stuck - the phone rings and you get a clue. Trust me - it is not easy and you will work to resolve the puzzles. According to our guide - many do not solve the puzzles and are treated to the unexpected "climax"- but it is still worth the experience. The room is a nicely thematically decorated room for clues to solve the room's puzzles and mysteries. This room features custom-made puzzles, artwork, and interactive electronics, along with a visually striking set design. We were greeted and told the story about the mysterious locked box and how someone needs to open the numerous locks and save the day. Very friendly people doing the presentation. While not especially cheap - we were entertained and have many memories and fun times to talk about and all of us felt it was well worth it. They are talking about building a different room with different items such as lasers to get around and I know I am looking forward to it. read more

Seriously such a fun experience! The time went by super quickly, and as a group we all got really into it. So many clues were hid throughout the whole room, and everything fit together perfectly. I highly recommend this if you are looking for something to do for an afternoon! The guy who worked there was funny, and clearly loved his work. You do have other people that you never met on your team so if you dont like paring up with strangers then this isnt for you. Our team thankfully worked extremely well together.
