They have many games to choose from so I suggest going to their website prior to visiting to check out which games you are interested in, so you can make the most of your gaming time. $25 for 30 min and $40 for 1 hour, if possible go for the full hour. It is your choice which games you want to play. Escape room type games take much longer and will eat up your time sometimes can take the full hour They have team games, versus shooting games, escape room games etc. Our favorites: Cook'd Up (work as a team, hilarious and lots of laughs, similar to the game overcooked) Plush Rush (work as a team, set up is like you are in the movie Toy Story and it's like a defend your base type of thing) Arrow song (similar type of shooting game but with arrows and a fantasy setting) *They have a hunting animals game and experiences where you can shoot each other too. Dimension XR is always a very fun experience. I've been there a few times now and it never disappoints! The environment: Dim lighting, but lots of fun cooler-toned lights. There are lots of spacious rooms to do the virtual reality in, however you can run into the wall or fall The staff: The employees are always so nice, helpful, and informative. They always help you with the virtual reality gear (two hand things (apparently I'm not cool or trendy enough to actually figure out what the hand controls are called ) and the virtual reality headset). Also, we finished our escape room early and the employee there let us try five minutes of another virtual reality simulation because we hadn't used up our full hour with the other one. I was very impressed by their integrity with that, especially since we just had five minutes left and certainly wouldn't have noticed. Extra details: Half hour activities are $25 per person. One hour activities are $40 per person. They have options like laser tag, active shooter simulations (like shooting zombies and stuff), a few random simulations like cooking, and lots of virtual reality escape rooms. They have a lot of options, and the virtual reality gear is always clean. I've only done the escape rooms and they're actually pretty challenging. You can get hints within the simulation if you need them, and there's a constant timer as to how much time you have left. Went here for a date night with my partner not knowing what to expect. Half expected an episode of bob's burgers where gene was very disappointed, but it wasn't like that at all. We played a shooter with zombies on normal mode and had fun. It was kind of difficult for two people who did this for the first time. We then played another shooter but it was us against each other. The arenas were really small and didn't give you enough spawning time to get away completely so that wasn't great. We had another game where we did archery and both had a really good time. Then to end it we did a burger making game that we enjoyed a lot. Personally I enjoyed the burger game the most. Yes, I did it because bobs burgers. The entrance to the place was a little confusing because of what my gps told me. I know they had a big ish sign on their building that told us where they were, but the sign wasn't that obvious and we had to try multiple doors until we found an open door... We will go again and maybe try some other games or bring some friends with us. I'd give it a full five, but those versus stages... could be much better. Service was great though. This was our first time ever trying out VR. We (2 of us) chose the combo pkg for $40 pp, which allowed us to play for 1 hr. With the help of the clerk, we chose the 30 minute Cook'd Up (our fav, actually read several reviews that this was a fun one; wish it lasted longer, I'm not sure we actually played for a full 30 minutes), the 30 minute Cops vs Robbers (2nd fav, recommended by the clerk, it was a milder shoot up game but had some interesting things to look at when not shooting bad guys), and the 30+ minute Dead Corps (also recommended by the clerk, shooting Zombies and the like, this one actually gave us motion sickness, and went on and on and on...we were ready for it to end which I think the clerk finally just did?). I know, I'm not sure how he got the math to work but we played all 3 for ~ an hr. Before the end of the hr was up, the headsets were hurting both our foreheads, and the motion sickness...so the hour was plenty of time for us. If we were to do it again, I'd like less shooting and more other stuff, and I'd do the hamburger making one again now that I have an idea of what it's about and could actually try to play the game a little better for points. This was especially disappointing considering we got there on time and they started us late because the group before us wasn't done yet. Their staff is really friendly and genuine, they were super grateful that we were doing an experience with them and they seemed genuinely surprised that we were there. We did a walk in because we were in the area and we were so glad that they could take us. We tried their Limitless VR and Cook'd Up. We all loved it because it was a really fun version of laser tag, the alternate reality made it all the more fun! This is just a lot of fun. We try to go down to Tukwila as often as we can because it's just a lot of fun. They have some games that will really help teambuilding. I'm bad. I don't remember the name of the games. There's the one with the Bows and arrows and your indulge awns under a castle, trying to protect the tree and it's a lot of fun there's a cooking game that will just have you laughing so hard. The staff is really nice and really helpful and they actually answer the phone if you need to call in ahead with any questions. It's a great place for a birthday party and they can accommodate fairly large groups. Everything is very clean. Parking is convenient. read more

This was my first foray into the world of virtual reality gaming. We tried it for a friend's birthday. It reminded me a lot of laser tag...except that instead of real walls to hide behind, there are virtual walls. Instead of real laser tag guns that go "pew pew," there are fake laser tag guns, Instead of real obstacles...you get the picture. Dimension XR is located in a combination office/warehouse space in the outskirts of Southcenter Mall. The "arena" is basically a large empty, open, and cold space. (But, don't worry, you heat up quite a lot during each of the games.) We were there for about an hour and participated in two "experiences." The Dimension XR host gives you a brief orientation and then you strap on the helmet with goggles and headphones and place the hand controller straps around your wrists. The most disorienting thing about the orientation is experiencing the VR for the first time. We all were quite surprised by how easy it was to adapt. I did have an issue with the blurriness of the VR projected from the goggles. It was only later when one of the hosts mentioned a button that I can adjust for the focus. Part of the orientation also included a target practice and positioning yourself in assigned areas of the arena. The first half of our hour was the "Cops vs Robbers" game, which only allows a maximum of 6 players, so two of our party had to watch. But they both reportedly had an amusing time witnessing us fumbling around the wide open space, bumping clumsily into each other. The game is pretty simple. You are randomly assigned to two teams and then...you shoot at each other. When you die, you have to go back to your beacon to respawn. The really disorienting aspect of this experience is that there are two "floors" and a VR "elevator," which means that you have to figure out how to virtually operate it, get in the elevator, and then take it to the next "floor." It is quite easy to lose your bearings when the elevator "moves." From the top floor, you can shoot at the other team who are on the bottom floor. For all the games, you can "die" if you go through a wall or through the railing to "fall" to the bottom floor. At the end of each round, you can see team stats, like accuracy, kill rate, etc. While this game was fun, the second game was much more entertaining. Next was "Limitless VR," a "battle royale" type game, which all 8 of us were able to participate in. We had to go back to the lobby to choose our avatars, which included furries, robots, and humans and watch a short orientation video. Then we return to the arena (thankfully just one floor, but a larger arena than the Cops vs Robbers" game), and it is every furry for themselves! I made the mistake of waiting for players to come to me and ambush them. But it is better and more fun to venture forth in the virtual maze and find players to eliminate. The stats favor the bold! A few more tips: as you are playing, you will get really, really sweaty, especially your hands holding the controllers and the upper part of your face covered by the googles. They told us that the "guns" have a mode that allows for multiple bursts when you pull the trigger, but we did not find that was the case. So, a quick repetitive trigger finger is helpful. Overall, I would recommend Dimension VR as a pretty good introduction to a virtual reality gaming experience. I knocked off one star because the hosts seemed a bit disinterested or distracted. Our orientations were a bit lackluster. But the games were relatively easy to figure out and most of all, a wonderful time was had by all! read more

Great VR place in the Greater Seattle area. Never done VR in a setting like this before but I came here with 11 friends and it was a blast! Sean and Nathan were great hosts and really make sure you have a good time. Because they're newer and VR tech is still improving, there's a couple kinks to be worked out with the gameplay but overall, it's a lot of fun and highly recommend coming with some friends for a novel experience read more

We had our monthly team social gathering here. It was our first time experiencing this place. The facility is new and clean. Everyone on our team had so much fun killing each other. Who would have thought that killing each other is a good team bonding activity? The staff there are very friendly and helpful. This place also offers catering. We had catering in our play package. We didn't have to worry about food, so we could focus on having fun and team bonding. The booking was very smooth. Its' definitely a place on our list for a revisit.
