Ok. I'm going to give my honest opinion of this experience. Upon entry you have about a 1/2 hr wait in line before your schedule time. There's an instructional how to video that plays throughout. After your wait you enter a briefing room(quick audio with detail's and backstory on the concept). Following you are then lead down a ramp to your first stop which is an explanation of how to use the headset. I must warn you that the headset is a bit heavy and can add pressure to your eyes and nasal area. The last step is just being digitally linked to your party, so that you and your friends can still locate one another while exploring. Now for the main event: You are first left to explore space via the headset and preloaded videos that come along with the experience. You have to be careful not to walk backwards or bump into anyone. After about 30 min of walking around wearing your headset you get to sit down and wear your headset. The final room is just a place to sit and watch the last video of astronauts repairing the ship. There isn't much that you can do outside of watching the videos. I assumed this would be more of an interactive experience or at least videos that really wow you but it feel short. Sadly for $60 you are subjected to 360 videos of space and nothing more. Not even an asteroid flying around or a rocking cruising by. I'd say save your money and watch space exploration videos on YouTube or just go to natural science museum to visit the planetarium.

I'm always impressed to see new implementations of VR and what they were able to do with just Oculus's was pretty neat. It's basically a holodeck of a wireframe of the ISS and you stop at certain spots demarcated by floating orbs to get a more high resolution immersive vignette of life on the ISS. The experience is divided into 4 chapters of 7 minutes each, so you only have 7 minutes to consume as many vignettes as you can/want to before the space station floats away and floats back with a new set of immersive videos. Many of the videos are really cute, like astronauts prepping food and tossing them to each other through zero gravity. For those prone to motion sickness, I would be wary of any space-walk type videos as you'll essentially orbit the earth and it might make you slightly queasy. That said they only last for a few seconds. The way they identify others in your group vs other strangers is pretty neat as it allows you to regroup with your friends and high five them as you wander about the station, and avoid bumping into others. The publicity photos are a bit misleading as it's nearly impossible to depict the VR experience so most of the photos are of the weird digital art experience or the Infinity Hall of Mirrors which are just essentially diversions on the way out of the event. Don't be fooled! This is for enthusiasts of VR and Space Exploration. No high octane action or aliens here.

In full transparency this experience was more than I was wanting to pay. We were able to use a 20% off spring break code but it is normally about $52 a ticket. After going I understand why it is a bit pricier because they have nice equipment that actually delivers great visibility and audio. The first 35 minutes of the experience was the VR portion. I was very impressed with how real it felt. In the past when I use VR goggles it was pixelated and not some thing I would want to do for 35 minutes. This experience was totally different. After the VR they have a visual walk-through with a huge ceiling tv screen and a mirrored hallway walk through. I had a great experience and would love to bring some friends but probably will not pay that same price again.

This exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure how I would do with VR (sensory wise), but for the most part I was good. My friend works for NASA and was able to use an employee discount code so our tickets were 20% off. Our group had 6 people and we reserved for 7:45pm. When we got there, the line was so long. It probably took about 20 minutes or so before we were able to enter into the exhibit. When we were able to enter, we listened to the intro audio and then proceeded to the headsets. The guy explained how to put the headset on and adjust it, but he didn't really explain what to expect once the headset was on. It took awhile before I finally felt comfortable "exploring" all the areas of the digital ISS. They do explain that there are so many orbs (videos) that you won't be able to get to them all in 35 minutes. Some random guy bumped into me and I would sometimes get separated from the group, but having the color coded avatars to find each other was helpful. But when you were inside an orb, you were immersed in it and you had to be careful to not move around too much since you can't see other people's avatars near by. Some of my friends said that some of the orbs were interactive. My friend said she was able to grab a notebook that was floating around. I missed that orb, but wish I would have known about it. It really does feel like you're up in space on the ISS. At one point, I was in a room with a bunch of astronauts and it felt like one of them was standing right on top of me lol. It's crazy. As we proceeded to our chairs (which light up to let you know which one to sit in), I got a notice that the battery on my headset was low. I was hoping it would make it, but of course about 5 minutes into the seated portion, the video completely stopped. Within 30 seconds, an employee was right in front of me with a replacement headset so I didn't miss much of the video. I'm glad the employees are paying attention to that stuff since everything is timed. At the end, the strobe lights bothered my senses so I had to skip that room, but the other rooms were cool. Definitely some great photo ops on the way out. This was so much cooler than the Van Gogh "Immersive" Experience. That was just projections on walls, not VR. This was totally immersive and so cool!

Five out of five! I took my son to this experience for a birthday gift. It was more than I imagined it would be. When you arrive you walk into another dimension, or what feels like a completely different world. Very futuristic and in line with the experience. The staff was amazing. From the moment we walked in we were given information to properly enjoy the experience. The headsets were in sanitation stations. The absolute best part of this experience was going with my son. Because you have a headset on you only see your group based on a color! My son and I explored each station together holding hands. It provided perspective to how we are all connected. It was almost a spiritual experience. It was so enlightening and engaging I went back on the final day. Excellent experience. If it comes back, I will definitely go again.

I really wanted to give them one star, but the person who booked this event didn't read what this was. This is basically a glorified space museum with absolutely no interactive activities. So you can imagine the disappointment on everyones faces when we realize we were not going to be having fun shooting for survival lol. We tried to make the best of it. Honestly, the two staff members who talked to us to introduce everything hyped it up way too much. I can say the graphics were cool, but it's just old videos of space missions. That's it... Oh, and you must wear a mask. We all left out of there wanting a refund and highly disappointed. We had a party of 7... 3 kids at $17 each and 4 adults $45 each with the service fee and tax, it came to $275 . To me, it was definitely overpriced for what it really was. We paid all that money to have 0 real fun lol. The last two rooms you walk thru leaving out were confusing and I not sure of their purpose. Maybe that was them trying to add some fun lol idk

Really fun and unique experience. There were some tech hiccups but they quickly fixed with our headsets. It's basically a giant room where you walk around with your group and learn about various topics in space. I can see why it's a timed event though cause it can get crowded with all the people walking around. Overall, fun event. Tickets are pricey but it's a unique experience!

The marketing for this experience is quite dramatic and over-hyped (I mean..."The Infinite"?!) but at its most basic it really is a VR exploration of the International Space Station, which is pretty dang cool! At $36/pp for roughly 45 minutes of VR it is not cheap. It took a minute or two to figure out how to explore effectively and avoid running into people, so I wish there was just a tad more time to explore the ISS as its pretty difficult to see everything in one visit. Perhaps that's what they intended so as to draw return visits. Overall I would recommend as the images are beautiful, it's an accessible activity, and has a cool factor for anyone who is super into emerging tech.

Such an amazing experience! I'm not even a space nerd and I enjoyed it so much! You must wear your mask at all times. They stagger times to keep it less crowded. Mask are cleaned after every use. The virtual simulation is fun and interactive. You also learn so much about astronaut life in space. Amazing views of space that makes you feel like you really are looking down at earth from a space ship. I would definitely do this again!

Such an interactive and immersive experience. I've never been to anything like this before! It was amazing getting to see 360 views of the space station, as well as watching documentaries of the every day lives of the astronauts. Some parts of the experience felt like a video game, but still fun nonetheless. It's amazing how they set up everything to run so seamlessly. When you first walk in, you get to an area to pick up your sanitized VR goggles. Then you line up according to your ticket time and start your tour. You and your group are scanned together so you're able to see where they are during the experience. The staff did an amazing job helping everyone fit into their VR headset and helped trouble shoot any technical difficulties right away. It was my first time using VR, and it took a bit getting used to. Initially when the tour started, I was experiencing a bit of nausea and motion sickness, but I adapted relatively quickly. I felt like my video was a bit blurry, but it was good enough to enjoy the experience. After you're done with the VR section, you walk into an area with 3 different digital art installations where you can stay as long as you please to enjoy the art and take some pictures. From start to finish I probably spent 1 hr here. Everything went smoothly and efficiently.

Wow! All I can say is amazing. This was much much more than what I thought it would be. Anyone will enjoy this of all ages. I highly recommend this even if your not a space type or techy person. Breath taking views of real life footages from space and on the space station, feels like you are actually there. I could not have been more satisfied with this.

Also, we finished our escape room early and the employee there let us try five minutes of another virtual reality simulation because we hadn't used up our full hour with the other one. I was very impressed by their integrity with that, especially since we just had five minutes left and certainly wouldn't have noticed. Extra details: Half hour activities are $25 per person. One hour activities are $40 per person. They have options like laser tag, active shooter simulations (like shooting zombies and stuff), a few random simulations like cooking, and lots of virtual reality escape rooms. They have a lot of options, and the virtual reality gear is always clean. I've only done the escape rooms and they're actually pretty challenging. You can get hints within the simulation if you need them, and there's a constant timer as to how much time you have left. Final thoughts: It's a little spendy and virtual reality itself is always a little disorienting, but it's a very fun activity and team building exercise to do with friends or family!

When we arrived, we used the kiosks to check in, sign the waiver and input our contact information. This becomes important later in order to receive your post-game video highlights via email & text. After this, a staff member took us to the back and guided us on how to suit up. Each person must wear a vest and a total of four sensors that strap on to each wrist and ankle. We then entered our game room and the employee assisted us with strapping on the headsets which launched us into the virtual world! It's so cool to look around what was previously just an empty room and see your teammates in their animated state. After a quick tutorial, we were handed the weapons we selected and the game began. Without going into too much detail, we were "transported" into a city that has been overrun with zombies, zombified dogs, birds and other monstrous creatures. The game lasted about 30 minutes and took place across three different stages. You are truly immersed in the environment. When the zombies attack, it appears as if they are right in your face and your vest vibrates upon their contact. When you're shooting, keep in mind that accuracy counts! For attire, wear light clothing as you'll be moving the entire time, equivalent to a bit of a workout. The gear itself is pretty lightweight, but the headset is not super comfortable. Understandably, it needs to be strapped on tightly, but it felt like my cheeks were being pulled down and about halfway through, it seemed like the headset was slightly clouding up. Four of us played the Deadwood Valley game and the rest of our group played Unbound Fighting League. For UFL, only two players can play at a time, so you will spend some time sitting on the sidelines. The 30 minutes of gameplay went by quickly and then one of the employees showed us our video highlights on a large screen, which were entertaining to say the least! The videos are immediately sent via email / text as well. This virtual reality experience was super fun and very unique, however it was $60 per person for 30 minutes of a single game. To me, that seems fairly steep. For that price, it would have been nice if they allowed you to play two games (or offered some type of package deal to do that), however I'm sure that's all part of their strategy to get customers to return.

This review is specifically for the Ice Walker room and in no way reflects the staff. They were nice. When our time started, I think we were able to complete one or two of the puzzles in the first room fairly easily. However there was one puzzle on the wall that when you solve it, a box should open. We completed that puzzle multiple times but the box did not open and we finally had to ask for a hint. The staff confirmed that we had completed the puzzle correctly and manually opened the box for us. They also added back a couple of minutes into our overall time. Where my issue lies is that I see that a month ago, there is a yelp review with the exact same complaint. Why hasn't the issue been fixed if that complaint was made a month ago? Other than the malfunctioning puzzle, our group had to use all three of our hints. Usually when you get a hint you understand where you might've gone wrong or you understand the reasoning behind the puzzle. However for this room in particular, we felt that there were a lot of things that just didn't make sense. The puzzles and the low quality equipment really took the fun out of the experience and we're not sure if we would return. A side note: a couple of people in my party have done two other escape rooms at Flee and they have had fine experiences with those. I believe both of those escape rooms were also five out of five difficulty. It seems that with our experience, combined with the other low reviews specifically for this room, that the Ice Walker room is to be avoided.
