There are poop bag stations along the way and I didn't see an issue with owners not picking up after their dogs. I went on a weekday and there were lots of people there that day. If your dog is okay with being in an environment with a lot of stimuli (children running around, joggers, skateboarders, lots of people in general), it's a wonderful park. My dog is a social butterfly so he absolutely loved this park and the attention he received from the walkers along the way!

We wanted to tour downtown Moines as we lived in the metro area for a long time now and wanted to…read morego see what was downtown and the waterfront. To explore basically. We found that we had time for this minor trip and got to explore those areas. We are saving the Redondo Beach area for another time. Anyway we came across the farmer's market here, the pier that goes out into Puget Sound quite a ways. There we saw fisherman at the end hoping to catch something to their liking. We also saw seals playing in the water. Perhaps it was because the farmers market was going on but there were volunteers there also to point out the seals and drop some useful information. We strolled away from the pier and waterfront and went to the event center. We admired the water some more and noticed a couple different walking paths here but one had a sign indicating that it was closed while another went to the event center itself. We didn't walk the the trail much as an event was taking place at the building and it seemed a little congested in that direction where the open trail went to. Apparently inside the event space going off of the pictures on Yelp there are some very pretty stained glass windows. So perhaps another time we will check those out. The grounds leading up to the building and the view of the water is very nice and would compliment very nicely with planned events at the building should the occasion would be appropriate for some photography outside with attendees.

Our class instructor was Ms. Maria, and although they have excellent instructors throughout the week, Ms. Maria had a way to get the kids engaged and excited and we genuinely miss going to her class at 830am. That's how much fun it was! She is truly involved in the kids' development and puts a lot of focus on each kid's skill needs and on teaching them to be kind and gentle

My brother-in-law even got married here (loved the place after our baby shower, and the pricing is just too good to be true). Great little venue to host a gathering. We've been here twice for a birthday and baby shower. The…read morespace is just right for our large family to have seating, 4 buffet tables, space for photo backdrops and a table for gifts. Accommodates up to 72 people. The high ceiling and 3 large, glass roll down garage doors make the space feel super big and bright. We have been here in summer when they were opened up and the kids were able to run and play in the real grass field right next to the building. In late fall with the doors closed it is very warm and cozy inside, even with the entrance door open. There is a small kitchen in the corner complete with sink, glass stove top and oven plus counter space. No refrigerator that I noticed though so bring your coolers and ice. There is plenty of parking with large enough spots to easily accommodate a large SUV and open doors comfortably. Inside there are two restrooms, one for men and women, not unisex, but they have a changing table (at least the women's restroom did). The building is adjacent to a small park. It's nice but be sure to not leave any valuables in your car as there can be some shady characters hanging about. After our event was done it helps to have family/ friends pitch in for the quick cleanup. Tables and chairs need to be stacked into their trolleys and the floors quickly swept. They provide the cleaning stuff like the large sweeper, etc. many hands make light work so for our large party clean up only took about 15 minutes. It's a good thing to model respect for the venue space to the littles and have the kids help out with clean up. Make it a game and it's even easier. Overall this is a great venue and we would definitely come back again.

Most recently we had a baby shower "Ahoy it's a boy" themed party. I called about 4 weeks before to reserve the space for about $200 for 5 hours. The representative was professional and easy to work with. On the day of the event, the attendee met me about a hour before and stayed on the property until after the event. I love this venue because outside there is a playground for the kids, there are huge windows that open up as doors to the outside, and they provide tables, chairs and there's a fridge, oven and kitchen space. No microwave! The party was a huge success and everyone had a great time. We will most likely reserve again for future events. I love the location in Auburn it's easy to get to and in the middle of Tacoma and Seattle. You can bring your own music, coolers and decorations. Must have painters tape or blue tape for the walls if you put up decor. No alcohol unless you have a permit. Thanks City of Auburn for having such a beautiful venue available to the public for a great price.

Did a roll with him and let go of his back so that he slammed against the mat. He was crying hysterically. All the other kids in the class were toddlers and my son wasn't even walking yet. It's been a little while and I still think about it & get mad. Maybe great for toddlers but I would never bring a baby there.

A new climbing gym to try out! This gym has a unique grading system, as it only goes by symbols…read more You can say it's similar to circuit grading. I do like how it's unique, but at the same time, I can see how people may desire a type of actual grading system since it's essentially universal in the climbing world. The gym is pretty new, clean, and organized. I think it's still a little bit in process to complete with non-climbing areas. The gym is on the smaller side, however, there's still a decent number of problems to try out. They also have two kilter boards and a small weight gym area. They also have a hangboard area, but I didn't like how it wasn't 100% secured to the metal equipment because it was a bit loose. The fall pads aren't that soft as well. If you fall from the higher top of the walls, I wouldn't be too surprised if an injury occurs. In addition, I wish they had more "climb down holds" throughout the wall. Whenever I sent a climb, I felt like it was harder to get down because there wasn't enough holds to use getting down. I think it's more important too to have these safety holds to prevent falling since the crush pads aren't greatly soft. Possibly because the holds and volumes are brand new, it gives a decently similar feeling to sand paper when you grab onto the holds. I definitely wished the holds felt smoother. The best part about their climbing gym is the realistic outdoor boulder route they have. It definitely feels like outdoor bouldering and if you send this route, you get a free pin! I believe they change this route every 3 months. The staff are nice and the day passes cost $25. You can get a 4 day pass for $50, but you have to use it within 1 month. Overall, a solid climbing gym and I can see myself coming back here!
