This one however, was just about what we were looking for. Multiple Pickleball, and Tennis courts available to the public. The only issue would be that they are a bit run down. Great new nets, but the courts paint job and cement could definitely use some TLC. The parking is safe, and there is plenty of it, and the location is really quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back often to play one of our favorite sports.

There is a day use fee but they offer punch cards for regular use. The gym is huge. Has upper seating area. It is 3 basketball courts they place baby gates between for multiple classes. Jazzercise is going on at one end while my daughter has volleyball at the other end. The coach struggles to talk over the music of that other class. It is carpeted as well. They have lots of kid classes available here. And there are some classroom areas, so things like Tai Chi can happen in a less loud environment, but it's not perfect. There is a walking track around the gym upstairs but it costs to walk ....$3. I like this place b/c they offer classes my kids want to try. Younger kids have plenty of sports leagues to enjoy. They have a gym and you can get a good workout here without joining a gym elsewhere. It's nice when the community center is clean and offers a lot. We enjoy utilizing this place. They do not charge extra for non city residents like most of the cities around here.

Summer Concerts in the park here are a win…read more The music has been good so far, each week a different musical genre/band entertains the crowd which is made up of friends ranging in ages from newborns to 90. There's plenty of open space for the kids to run wild, for the adults to deploy their dancing skills and to relax on a Tuesday night with your chosen group. They don't allow you to bring beer or wine which likely keeps people under control, but, removes a certain sophistication from some meals with friends as we try to one up each others culinary whimsy for picnic dinners. I must say that a glass of wine can really up the taste of my food. Highly recommend going at least once this summer for the people watching, the competitive food selections spread out on our blankets and the joy of being outdoors on these gorgeous summer nights.

There is an extensive senior program, a variety of classes for all ages, a gym and plenty of services. I love going to the toddler gym which starting in September runs Mon, Wed, and Fri and costs $2 for the first child and $1 for each additional child. There are several age appropriate play structures outside in their beautifully kept grounds. And to top it all off, a stunning botanical garden that is open to the public including wedding rentals and has a fantastic fund raising garden show and plant sale in August (this year featured Cisco Morris!) . This is just such a find and is worth the drive because it's just such a great community center.

The parking lot was huge and surrounded by tall trees. The shade is great on hot summer days. There is a big play area in the grove of trees behind the community center. You walk through an art-filled garden to get to the door of the community center. Upon entering, there is a bronze statue of books right in front of you. Pretty cool! Off to the left is a kids area where they have Tot Time and story time for kids (there is a small charge to attend). Off to the right is a desk with a receptionist. The dance class is in a large room with mirrors on one of the walls. Our instructor is a local gentleman in his 50's. Such a wonderful teacher. Only 4 couples signed up for the class, but we have a lot of fun despite small numbers. I am anxious to take more classes at the B.C.C.!

I've walked by the building numerous times as a Mercer island resident, but never truly realized the amazing convenience of having this here. Loads of parking and friendly staff. The entire community is here, it feels like. I'm so relieved to have a safe space to come. And internet access to reconnect while the problem continues. They have a huge basketball court, gym and locker rooms here. I got a visual on the cost to use the gym. $5 single visit. $80 for 25 visits. Come here if you need to. SYOY!
