I had extra time before my flight and did not want to sit in the airport. This park is right near making it easy to get a dose of green before flying out. Parking is free.

This was a surprisingly scenic little park just a couple of miles from the airport. There were kids jumping off the pier and swimming in the lake. It has a playground, bathrooms, and a steep boat launch area. It would be a great place for travelers to stop and stretch or picnic.

Really nice park which offers various forms of entertainment to visitors. I paid a quick visit to the park in September. Not a whole lot going on during a weekday afternoon, but that's what made it a good experience. Opportunity to relax, take in some sun, and do some people watching. Definitely be aware of your surroundings when there aren't many people around. I did note a few possible suspicious characters.

This lake is super chill! It's pretty shallow but I like that so I can walk in the lake all I want! It's very family friendly and can get busy. But definitely smaller area since it's residential and most people around you own a house on the lake. So just remember to be respectful and keep Washington clean :)

We arrived around 12:30 p.m. and the place was still fairly crowded. The weather was nice, so perhaps that bought out the crowds. The park also has a number of grill/picnic pavilions, a loop trail around most of the perimeter, playground for kiddies, a splash/fountain area for younger kids to play in. Lots of open green space, people out on the lake, and families BBQing. If you have some time to kill near Seatac, this seemed like a great local spot with lots of people enjoying the weather. Angle Lake Park, a 10 acre lake-front park, is the perfect place to cool off in the summer. Nice retreat from the city life. I would recommend this place to anyone that wanted to come here with their families. Amenities: * boat launch * fishing * open recreation area * water spray park * stage * picnic shelters/barbecue areas * restrooms * swimming (No lifeguards on duty.) * playground equipment * parking

After taking a wrong turn while heading towards the airport, my family and I ended up at Angle Lake Park. Since we had a few hours to kill, we decided to just hang around the lake and take some photos. We were here the day before Thanksgiving so there was only one other person there. We had quite a peaceful and beautiful morning. The lake is gorgeous. We were able to take lots of pictures that came out amazing since we had a great, nature background. The way the trees and the lights reflect of the water is so magical. I'm not from around this place but I can imagine how nice it would be to take your dog for a walk here of your kids for a mini park play date.

Pretty cool water toys for kids toddler & up. Picture was taken in the morning this area was packed by mid afternoon.

Very cool we went on a Sunday mid July. - All picnic tables/BBQs are occupied by 11am. Not doggy friendly - leash, no dogs on the beach Love the beach access, steps descend into the water Love the mini water park play area. Kiddos had a blast. + playground on site. No parking. But there is an additional parking a block off site. Tons of place but it's just a field. So car will get dusty. Didn't see a lifeguard on duty. Not too sure tho. All in all it was a good time. It was super crowded tho, beach water play area were just jammed with kids. We had our own table so part was fine. & even with the traffic it was a clean park.

    Nice lake

Has both a lake and a spray park. Regular playground is kinda lame, but most of the kids are occupied with the splash park anyway.

The shady playground is a mite garish but kids like garish; the "splash park" area will draw more kids.

The city prepared a master plan for the park in 2021-2022, a plan expected to take 30 years to fully implement. Motivation and budgets being what they are, it's fair to anticipate slow going. On my visit, trash, graffiti, and shady characters were evident but not overwhelming. Several locals walked the west edge, either passing through or taking a brief respite from the shopping district. Birds and butterflies lighten the space. The plantings are well established, but few flowers were blooming in late August. The pond, best viewed from the damaged overlook, was neither pretty nor putrid (the odds are against it with such impervious surroundings). A place like this needs community participation for ground-up improvement. The city's plan accounts for this but it was unclear from a single visit whether it's happening. Adjacent businesses encouraging employee volunteerism could make a huge difference. The master plan has it all: https://www.tukwilawa.gov/wp-content/uploads/Tukwila-Pond-Park-Master-Plan_2022-01-22.pdf

It runs along the Green River Trail, and is easily accessible from a nearby parking lot near the trail. This seems like a great place for a variety of low cost, corporate events from one of the nearby buildings. They have plenty of space there for even hundreds of people if the occasion called for it. With access from the trail, you can even haul in quite a bit of equipment if you wanted to provide your own grill and play gear. This park has a path around the perimeter and along the trail, giving you options for walking around it if you're not wanting to get into the often wet grass. This location is not often overcome with birds, but you should expect the crows to be looking for snacks since they expect human activity. They have ample pavilion space, and from what I have seen it does not require any kind of reservation, so it should be first come first serve. I have rarely seen any kind of large groups out here, more is the shame since it is actually a pretty nice location to enjoy a sunny afternoon. Briscoe park is a definitely a little known destination for most. It is still a great respite for trail goers and park grill masters alike.
