This is such a cute place! We were so close to finishing, we will be returning to try again !

Went here for my birthday, this was so amazing. The staff were great! One advice: Don't be prideful, it will have you loose. So close to winning the escape, we will be back

After completing the Sorceror's Rescue room!

We have done two escape rooms at Enigma and both were so much fun. Well designed rooms with well designed puzzles that are challenging without being frustrating. The rooms are immersive with the themes too. The Condemned is haunted house themed and had a couple small jump scares which added to the experience. Everyone who works there is super helpful and nice as well. Highly recommend. I'm excited to try the other two rooms they have!

So glad we took the time to head down to Tacoma to complete these rooms! We have done over 50 rooms at this point - just my wife and I completed all four in a weeks' time - here are our thoughts The Cure The first of the rooms here. Not linear at all, lots to do and look at. The final puzzle was one I was very familiar with so I knew what I was looking for and how to solve - had that not been the case we would not have escaped as we did it with a mere 54 seconds remaining. I think this room could use 3-4 people, especially if they are newer to escape rooms. Enjoyed the immersion, some of the puzzles weren't our favorite as they weren't real clear on what to do, but the room is solid. The Sorcerer's Rescue Another big room with lots of things to do. Definitely recommend four people even if seasoned...there's just a lot to do here, we needed two extra minutes. The hardest of the rooms offered currently. Immersion is great, if wizards and potions and pixies are your thing you'll love this room. The Estate They said Condemned was the easiest, I felt it was The Estate, but I also guess that depends on your strengths. The estate was a pretty straightforward escape room, very linear but in a way that two people can work together rather one sitting while other doing all the work. These are the rooms we work best on and really enjoyed working through this room quickly. Escaped with about 27 minutes left. The Condemned This is my favorite room. Like of all the rooms we have done, and we have done two top award winning rooms in Seattle and LA. I wish I could forget about it and do it again. I have recommended it to no less than a dozen people since doing it. Creepy, spooky, make me scream rooms are right up my alley. So much fun. We have done a lot of scary rooms and this had the *right* amount of terror so you could still focus. Escaped with a little over 18 min left and had so much fun doing so. All in all we had a blast. There is something for everyone here. Linear and non-linear. Scary and mild. Fantasy and reality. Also, I forgot to mention, the staff get into character with you to really set the scene. With everywhere opening escape rooms that is a little touch that is being missed. It really sets the scene and gets the room started right. THANK YOU so much to the staff at Enigma - and know as soon as you launch a new room we will be right back down there.

Office time escaping the murder mystery puzzle game!

So much fun doing this as a family Birthday celebration. Just scary enough to make fun. A few tricky problems to get through...want to go again for sure!

So much fun! Great customer service! We were in the condemned room and it was so much fun. The building is in a good location and they keep the building secure so that only those who make reservations are allowed inside. I would definitely go back to this escape room.

Organized and well put together, got stuck a few timez but had so much fun with my kidz. Was looking for something family friendly and this definitely was, we all were so into it! Will be back when we visit washington again! Thank you neighbor for all your help!

Went for my husband's birthday party and even though we didn't escape we had a BLAST!!! We'll definitely be back to redeem ourselves

super fun experience and was actually the first escape room i've completed ! other escape rooms i've been too didn't have the same vibe as this place , because the staff and experience here was awesome . will definitely come again !

Fun escape rooms. The acting is a bit cheesy, but the room are well developed and the puzzles are challenging.

All of the employees have been super nice as well as committed to the immersion of the experience. This franchise has by far the best set design I've seen so far and I'm excited to try more of their rooms in the future. Both their Point Ruston and Gig Harbor location are great, though I'd recommend Temetra's Hex @Point Ruston. However it can be a bit challenging at some points so don't be afraid to ask your guide for a hint!

Our group of 5 completed Siren's Cove and had a total blast. From the set design, puzzle design, storytelling, lighting, sound, atmosphere, creativity - everything was top notch. All of us were engaged from start to finish, so many puzzles require you to think outside of the box while still making complete sense. By far my favorite escape room I've ever done. This one will be hard to top. That being said, I can't really say the mystery merch add-ons are worth the price. They seem better suited for younger folks, so be aware if you plan on ordering one. Jada was a wonderful game master, she was very welcoming and did a great job explaining escape room basics to some of the first-timers in our group. We'll be back!

We went to their demo from the Kent Nerd Block party and we've been hooked every since! The best part about this escape room spot is that they are dressed and act in character which I think one of the coolest things as not a lot of escape rooms do this. The inside of the location is absolutely gorgeous and truly whisks you away into a medieval fantasy world. I learned that all the escape rooms are story driven and there is an order of how you should do the escape rooms, which also very unique and gives you more reason to try them all! The bathrooms here were also themed with dragons, fun pictures, and knights while looking pristine. Our gamemaster (GM), Ben was an absolute delight. He was making fantastic jokes that we all enjoyed, caught our references, and enjoyed some of the wild things we have said while trying to figure out the puzzles. We definitely agreed that he added to the fun. And it turns out you can request for a specific GM if you want to, which again is very cool! We got to do a quick sneak previews of the room and we were offered a 15% discount if we wanted to do another escape room after, which is super awesome as we would have been down if we didn't have work early in the morning. But I do think that is such a fun and fair idea to get people to do another escape room but at a discount. We loved how detailed each of the different escape rooms were, you can tell a lot of love and attention went into make these rooms. I know my friends talked about how they enjoyed that the puzzles here didn't solely rely on lock combinations, which can just tiresome at times. The puzzles here get really creative! We did their Dungeon of Doom as it is the recommended one to start with first and we were able to beat it with a few minutes to spare! This was my friends' first time completing through an escape room and it was just so great to see how happy and accomplished they looked after completing it. Ben got a photo of us at the end and he took an extra photo for my friend's photo and they came out great! We look forward to tackling more of their other escape rooms and I know more friends who would really enjoy this experience as well. I also know their other locations have different escape rooms with their own lore too, so definitely check them out!

I was looking specifically for a Christmas themed escape room around the holidays. Sure Lock…read moreEscapes had one but only at their Kent location. I purchased the Christmas-themed escape room for Two Person Tuesdays to take advantage of the reduced rate when it's usually more per person (since the pricing is a sliding scale depending on number of players - more players = lower cost for each player) We arrived early to give ourselves time to find 2-hour free street parking. It was pretty busy considering it was the week in between Christmas and New Years. I didn't think the main lobby would be themed out but it was! Very medieval, fantasy, magical feel. It was WAY too dark though to properly see though - could use some more overall lighting. It was easy to check in for our booked time. Our game master, Kenzie was excellent! Kenzie was in character the entire time, giving us the escape room backstory and overview for how things would work in the game space. Once ready to begin, we were guided to the start of our adventure. The rooms themselves were all-out Christmas! The design and creativity of the space was outstanding. There were sound effects throughout our time and even animatronics. Our game master gave us the right amount of direction when needed (and of course, still in character!). This escape room stands out from others we've done in the past. Most places just lock you in the room and you're completely on your own unless you go press a button for help. This was very interactive - especially the Yeti coming to visit! The puzzles were unique and fit the story so well. Every element had to be (I think?) designed and made by hand - I was so impressed by everything. We were able to solve the escape room in time, and there was a little light show with "snow' afterward. We received selfies of us with the Yeti and post-game. The little bags of hot chocolate + treats were a nice touch. Our game master followed up with us afterwards to make sure everything went well. I would definitely do this experience again! Kent is a bit far for us (but I wanted to play through the Christmas one which is a limited time only escape room in Kent). Next time, we'd likely try the West Seattle location, purely for convenience. There are many other cool themes I'd love to try. Thank you!
