    Sunday with my friends

It was honestly surprisingly fun and good and terrifying (because we did the haunted cabin one). The actress that met us and whoever acted as the scary character (that I won't spoil!) within the experience was so good. Literally felt like I was in a movie trying not to die with my friends! Super terrifying but we actually made it and escaped! We had 8 people, and I didn't know if we could do it but we did! Woot! I absolutely recommend! What a fun time.

    Celebrating our escape.

Awesome experience. We've been here multiple for different rooms and they never disappoint. Always great puzzles. Mia was an awesome host and got us in the mindset for a great escape.

We were a group of six doing Midnight Manor with Jeremy as our host! He was very helpful in explaining the lore (some of us neglected to read it) and answering our questions while keeping the immersion. Everything went smoothly, despite our group needing more hints towards the end lol. There was a technical issue before we started outside the Midnight Manor door, but Jeremy was able to resolve it quickly without impacting the experience. We all had a very good time.

Almost finished Mayan Ruins with my mom, husband, and sister! So much fun!! Totally worth it. A very cherished memory for our family

We've been to Escape Hour @ Gig Harbor 3 times now and each time has been such a WONDERFUL experience! We absolutely love the thrill of puzzle solving as a family and trying to beat the clock. There's always lots of laughter, tons of excitement, and mind puzzling problem solving. It's our favorite thing to do as a family. The hour goes by so fast because you're so focused on several things at once and lose track of how much time you're actually spending trying to complete the room. I would 100% recommend Escape Hour @ Gig Harbor they were able to accommodate us last minute and always give us the best experience! Book your experience!

The room was built great! But it's the attendants that make the experience so special. It was really fun and the facilitator helped us with slight hints but not enough to give anything away. This is only our second room but it was well worth it! There was 4 of us so we recommend you bring your friends and relatives of even 6 people. We had a great time and you'll have more fun than sitting in a movie.

    Cabin room!

Ask the Community - Escape Hour Gig Harbor

How much would it cost for three people to go?

It's around $50 per person, but that price goes down, the more people you have. I believe once you add the 5th person it goes down and then if you have all 8 people (the max) then it's about $45 per person.

All of the employees have been super nice as well as committed to the immersion of the experience. This franchise has by far the best set design I've seen so far and I'm excited to try more of their rooms in the future. Both their Point Ruston and Gig Harbor location are great, though I'd recommend Temetra's Hex @Point Ruston. Our group of 5 completed Siren's Cove and had a total blast. From the set design, puzzle design, storytelling, lighting, sound, atmosphere, creativity - everything was top notch. All of us were engaged from start to finish, so many puzzles require you to think outside of the box while still making complete sense. By far my favorite escape room I've ever done. This one will be hard to top. That being said, I can't really say the mystery merch add-ons are worth the price. They seem better suited for younger folks, so be aware if you plan on ordering one. Jada was a wonderful game master, she was very welcoming and did a great job explaining escape room basics to some of the first-timers in our group. We'll be back!

These were the last of the current Escape Artist and Sure Lock escape rooms we had yet to play and they were 2 of our favorites! 13th Floor featured the full motion effects, Escape Artist uses in some of their rooms. The room was smaller than some but the story elements were incredibly cohesive and they packed a ton of really creative puzzles into the space. Neon Shadows might be my favorite escape room to date. It was really hard but so much fun. Lots of the puzzle mechanics in the room felt new or novel and it was all really well integrated with the central theme. A wealth of geek and 80s references were a delightful bonus! Big thank you to our game masters this weekend, Gavin and Will. You both made our experience so fun and engaging. We'll definitely be back whenever there are more rooms to play.

I have done all 4 Escape Rooms at the Escape Artist. Spell Struck was my first ever Escape Room…read more I have since done numerous others and Spellbound remains one of my top 2 favorites that I've experienced. The ambiance and atmosphere was top notch. The variety of and creativity of the puzzles and clues in this room were among the best. My friend and I, both escape room virgins, escaped 1 minute late! (ugh) Dive to Atlantis was my second favorite out of the rooms at this location. My cousins from out of town joined us. They had never done an escape room and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to solve all the clues and get out in time. There was one particularly difficult puzzle but nonetheless we made it with time to spare. The same friend I did Spell Struck with and I did 13th floor and finished with time to spare. I wasn't as impressed with this room compared to the others and we were stuck in the "elevator" on a single clue for a long time near the beginning. Luckily we sped through the second half like a breeze, which was very padlock heavy (I don't like that), and we may have used hints we didn't need because we thought we were running low on time. We weren't. My roommate and I did Lost in Space and we really like this room. I would say the theming and atmosphere felt a little cheesy for a Space Station, but the clues and riddles were stimulating and we had a very fun time overall. Escape Artist deserves a 5 star rating, if for just Spell Struck alone, but they have 4 unique experiences. Two of the rooms have actual motion which is awesome. None are like any of the others so there is great variety. If you are looking for a great escape room, keep them on your list!

We went to their demo from the Kent Nerd Block party and we've been hooked every since! The best part about this escape room spot is that they are dressed and act in character which I think one of the coolest things as not a lot of escape rooms do this. The inside of the location is absolutely gorgeous and truly whisks you away into a medieval fantasy world. I learned that all the escape rooms are story driven and there is an order of how you should do the escape rooms, which also very unique and gives you more reason to try them all! The bathrooms here were also themed with dragons, fun pictures, and knights while looking pristine. Our gamemaster (GM), Ben was an absolute delight. He was making fantastic jokes that we all enjoyed, caught our references, and enjoyed some of the wild things we have said while trying to figure out the puzzles. We definitely agreed that he added to the fun. And it turns out you can request for a specific GM if you want to, which again is very cool! We got to do a quick sneak previews of the room and we were offered a 15% discount if we wanted to do another escape room after, which is super awesome as we would have been down if we didn't have work early in the morning. But I do think that is such a fun and fair idea to get people to do another escape room but at a discount. We loved how detailed each of the different escape rooms were, you can tell a lot of love and attention went into make these rooms. I know my friends talked about how they enjoyed that the puzzles here didn't solely rely on lock combinations, which can just tiresome at times. The puzzles here get really creative! We did their Dungeon of Doom as it is the recommended one to start with first and we were able to beat it with a few minutes to spare! This was my friends' first time completing through an escape room and it was just so great to see how happy and accomplished they looked after completing it. Ben got a photo of us at the end and he took an extra photo for my friend's photo and they came out great! We look forward to tackling more of their other escape rooms and I know more friends who would really enjoy this experience as well. I also know their other locations have different escape rooms with their own lore too, so definitely check them out!

I purchased the Christmas-themed escape room for Two Person Tuesdays to take advantage of the reduced rate when it's usually more per person (since the pricing is a sliding scale depending on number of players - more players = lower cost for each player) We arrived early to give ourselves time to find 2-hour free street parking. It was pretty busy considering it was the week in between Christmas and New Years. I didn't think the main lobby would be themed out but it was! Very medieval, fantasy, magical feel. It was WAY too dark though to properly see though - could use some more overall lighting. It was easy to check in for our booked time. Our game master, Kenzie was excellent! Kenzie was in character the entire time, giving us the escape room backstory and overview for how things would work in the game space. Once ready to begin, we were guided to the start of our adventure. The rooms themselves were all-out Christmas! The design and creativity of the space was outstanding. There were sound effects throughout our time and even animatronics. Our game master gave us the right amount of direction when needed (and of course, still in character!). This escape room stands out from others we've done in the past. Most places just lock you in the room and you're completely on your own unless you go press a button for help. This was very interactive - especially the Yeti coming to visit! The puzzles were unique and fit the story so well. Every element had to be (I think?) designed and made by hand - I was so impressed by everything. We were able to solve the escape room in time, and there was a little light show with "snow' afterward. We received selfies of us with the Yeti and post-game. The little bags of hot chocolate + treats were a nice touch. Our game master followed up with us afterwards to make sure everything went well. I would definitely do this experience again! Kent is a bit far for us (but I wanted to play through the Christmas one which is a limited time only escape room in Kent). Next time, we'd likely try the West Seattle location, purely for convenience. There are many other cool themes I'd love to try. Thank you!
