The playground is split into an older kids side and a younger kids side, with 1 entry (and a fence surrounding). Visibility isn't perfect but the single entry point is great if you want to stand in the middle to keep an eye on kiddos. Great spot for play dates (come with a coffee!). There are portapotties at the park and a real restroom a small walk down the path. Park is great for kids to use their imaginations and play, which is so much fun. Great spot to bring a ball and play catch or picnic to sit and relax or bikes! Can get hot - wear sunscreen if the weather is nice. Friends said it's also fun to bring bikes or a stroller and hit up the cafe (a bit of distance from the playground) and have some sweet potato fries.

The balls are super soft and she loves to jump and throw the balls with friends. She has recently been exploring the jungle gym area as well which allows her to climb and swing. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. Another thing I like is that the older kids are pretty respectful of my child and watch where they are going. We have had some near misses when kids were a bit boisterous but they have always stopped to say sorry which means a lot to me.

Most play places are definitely not that steep. That aside, we had a great time here. My kids loved it! There's so much to do. There's an arcade, a climbing wall, multiple bounce houses, and a giant play structure with fun slides. Plus a smaller play structure for toddlers! We were here for almost two hours and they were so tired when we left (the whole point!) Also, LOVE that they have the Watering Hole here for adults! The selection is kind of limited and the wine wasn't my favorite (switched to a local IPA after that) but it is a fun added bonus for the parents. We also got a cheese pizza while here and that was a little expensive too ($25) but it was actually pretty huge and it actually was pretty tasty. Kids were definitely happy with it. We plan on booking this spot for our son's 3rd birthday party in May and honestly the prices aren't too bad for how many kids they allow and everything they supply. Water play area is definitely the most high activity zone. My kid almost spent an hour playing in that area. The air flow duct with scarves is another fun area for the kid. Among all the other museums I have visited, the painting, arts & crafts area is quite unique to this museum. The wooden boards and the net at the end of the museum is another adventure for all kids and not available in other museums. This was the first time I saw my kid feeling the courage to climb over the ropes and explore. The paid parking area near the museum has good number of spots but the signs can be confusing as it says "only reserved" and you tend to wonder if you will get ticketed. Park Mobile app location 50271 is good and confirmed by museum folks! Or there is street parking too!
