I recently went last week for the first time and I had a blast . I'm 35. there are lots of places the adults can sit and watch right along with the kids playing. for an hour and a half it's about 30$ I think. not bad at all . they have trampolines everywhere and foam pits to play in , lots of high places to jump into pits , a zip line , these super steep slides you go down on your belly head first on a Matt with handles that launches you up onto a blown up soft landing . that was scary and super fun . they have interactive race games , these hanging punching bag like things you can swing across the foam on hanging ropes to swing on , they have a bar swing that you jump off of into the foam pit. there is a little food area, bathrooms and lots of fun. Me and my partner went here and at the start it was really fun. But when we were talking to this boy who I think worked there, and we were all just hanging out on a thing that u can jump off of onto a trampoline but not the one with the foam pit (sorry I don't know how to explain what we were on) and there was no sign saying that u couldn't be up there and it wasn't like a safety hazard cuz there was a lot of room up there. Anyways, we were up there for about 15 minutes just sitting down and talking not running around or causing disruption, and then this worker came over and told us to get off. We didn't rlly think much of it cuz maybe we were just up there too long or something, so we get off and the lady keeps yelling at us (I forget what she said) and so my partner was just talking about how he said that he hated books in 4th grade, and then the worker screams at us that there's no reason to be rude, WHEN WE DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING! We went there with high hopes, booking the mega VIP birthday package for our son, and while the facility itself was incredibly fun, the floor staff helpful and kind, when it came time for the financial side of things, we were allowed to pay one price for the booking, told everything had been paid for, free passes for certain jumpers to be honored, double checked at booking, triple checked upon signing in. When it came time for the party to start, the pizza hot and drinks cold waiting for us in the party room upstairs, we were told that we weren't going to be able to have the party unless we coughed up nearly 300 more dollars, rendering the previous agreement about free passes completely fraudulent. We had been had... we payed it, not wanting to ruin our boys day, but it felt like coercion. I couldn't help but notice that the water bottles lining the table in the party room each contained the same free passes that we're worth ultimately nothing. Poor form, guys, strongarming parents who scraped everything together to pay for this party. Be careful going here. read more

Formally Boomshaka, Defy is one of the coolest spots in Olympia, I'm convinced! I've been here in the past yeaaaars and years ago (without kids and many responsibilities) and it was a blast. Fast forward to now meeting up with friends so we can take our 3 + 4 year olds, and we had an equally good time! Parking lot is kind of small so it was tough finding a spot today on a holiday (MLK, still open). Once you're in you've got to make sure to sign a waiver. You can then go to the front desk and buy the special grip socks ($3) and be on your way to jump! There's cubbies for you to put your stuff, but they aren't locked or anything. My son was SO stoked about this place. Rows upon rows of giant trampolines, foam pits, places to jump off of, swings to jump off of into foam pits... And the list goes on. There's so much to do. This is THE perfect spot to burn off kid's energy! That being said, I don't think I personally would bring a kid any younger than 3 here. My son will be 4 this year and I think he's at the perfect age to really start enjoying this place. I have a 1 year old that I decided to leave with my mom because I just had a feeling this would be intense for her... And it definitely would've been! There's no spaces that are really good for babies to play in, so best to leave the littles at home! I know that they have memberships here and it seems like it would be worth it if you live nearby. We aren't close to this location at all, but I'm thinking about looking into the one that just opened up in Puyallup. All in all, a great experience! We came here on a Monday afternoon with a 3.5 and 5.5 year olds. It was not crowded at all probably because school was in session, albeit there were a few parents letting their kids play hooky (good for them). This place was larger than I expected with a dozen of trampoline areas and foam pits. The tall slides were closed, which was fine for us due to the ages of the wee ones with us. The place was clean (including the restroom) when we were there, yet based on some of these reviewers we had expected the worse. If you are worried about "germs" being transmitted to your children, as some reviewers mention, then just DON'T GO to a place like this! What the heck do you expect? Geeeze... We bought some ice cream snacks and Icee drinks and they were reasonably priced. The staff seemed bored to tears (if not miserable) and it manifested itself when there were any interactions with them, which was minimal. Context: we went on possibly the busiest day ever. Packed. No capacity limit it seems like. No parking. Area is around warehouses so had many semi trucks competing with side parking. No point in paying cause there wasn't any employee checking anything. Trash everywhere. Big kids playing too rough. No enforcement of any rules. Parents just sit and dont know where or what their kids are doing. Place smelled like wet locker room. WORSE PART...parents let their kids go into the bathroom with the mandatory supplied socks. We had a party for my son at this location. Upon arrival, I had to search out someone to take my cake and food for the party. They had poor communication with the customers and I didn't see who was supposed to be assigned to my party until I went to the room as I explain below. I also ordered Domino's for everyone out of a gut feeling and when the pizza arrived at 2:40pm, the guy said "They will call you over the intercom when the party room was ready." I was concerned we were getting close to the 3pm party hour, and went back to the desk again and was told the same thing about being called. 3:10pm I heard nothing and went up to check the room. A lady was still taping up a broken window from previous party and room was not fully setup. I had to go back to desk and ask where our pizzas were at. The guy comes upstairs with our pizzas at 3:15pm, I asked since the room was not ready are we going to have our full time to at minimum 4:10pm. The guy said "they can not allow overage on time. We must be out the room by 4pm. And gave me 10 vip 1 hour jumps, question is what am I going to do with 1hr jumps when I got food there and a cake to serve guests TODAY. After back and forth with the guy and a woman who claimed to be manager. He disappeared until a couple minutes before 4pm to remind us we had to leave. I felt the whole birthday party was a failure cause I only received partial party room time. So we basically had enough time to scarf some pizza, sing happy birthday, then get a couple pics and get out. Could not even serve cake since it was almost 4pm, nobody was able to get relaxed, and my son could not even open birthday presents there. He didn't even get the shirt they say they give the guess of honor. I recommend NEVER doing a birthday party here, go elsewhere save your money or find a place that gives enough time. Cost us over $700 for essentially 2 hours of jumping and 45 mins of party room to get rushed in the last hour. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this place and NEVER do a party ever again with them. It is poorly managed even the bathrooms did not have paper towels to dry our hands. I told a blonde haired girl who worked in the restaurant area, and it was never refilled. We visited Skyzone yesterday (12/31/23) with our five grandchildren ages 13 to 4. Excellent experience. We were checked in by Wil(l) who was fantastic!! He has amazing enthusiasm and greeted the kids with great energy. 90 minutes was just the right amount of time to spend there, they were all worn out. Just very basic jump place with a jungle gym. Hardly any staff supervise anything so kids pretty much can do anything they want like not taking turn, not waiting or throwing stuff. Fun for the kids.... I'm sure as parents it's hard to get in the way of fun when we're more worried about the cleanliness. Been here a couple times since they opened the outside needs to be cleaned up. Lots of discarded trash and SOCKS!!! Very disappointed if parents are allowing their kids to just discard their dirty socks creating the trashy look outside. The inside has been taking a beating over the years but should still maintain a level of cleanliness. Maybe have a pause in jumping to do a mopping of the place. You could visibly see foot prints on the trampolines you could see cords from the trampolines sticking out from underneath the mats. The foam cubes are looking dingy maybe throw out the chewed up ones and dirty ones. A couple of the areas where closed the day we went. We make the long drive to Olympia instead of heading south to jump parks that are closer to us because Defy has always been superior..We recently visited on a Tuesday and you would have thought the place hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Definitely not after the weekend. The bathrooms were in terrible shape, filthy, no soap, and the lights in the bathroom were out. The park floor itself could use some attention. For the premium price you pay you have to deal with a lot of filth. I'm writing this review in hopes that it gets their attention to make some changes. We came here regularly prior to the shut down. This is our first visit back in about a year. This facility is usually about as dirty as you'd expect a kids play place to be but it's the only trampoline park in town so we go. Honestly, I think it's dirtier now than it was prior to the shut down. The bathrooms only have hand driers, no paper towels so little kids who don't want to use the loud blowers are leaving a trail of water with their trampoline socks from the dirty bathroom back out onto the trampolines. Not to mention, half of the lights weren't on in the bathroom, but not enough for me to not be able to see the toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Tons of crusted on urine from the seat to the bowl. Needless to say, I didn't use their toilets and held it until we went home. What was most frustrating about our visit was attempting to sign up for a membership. The website stated if you were interested in purchasing a monthly membership after purchasing day tickets, you could do so and have your paid total applied to your monthly membership. My husband wanted to do so and we attempted to prior to leaving. The staff member couldn't figure out how to sign us up for a monthly membership and apply the $80 we had already spent there 1 hour prior. Very frustrating. We will continue to go here due to the fact that it is the only one in town and my kids love it. However, the experience this time was frustrating and gross. read more

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOR ALL AGES. I am so excited that Olympia FINALLY has a great place for kids of all ages that is clean and has a great business model. I love that this is owned by local people and not some corporation that has no interest in our community besides making money. This place was so much fun, as an adult, that I didnt want to leave. My kids felt the same way. We had so much fun together. I saw families playing together and laughing and getting exercise and I couldn't stop smiling. There Are SO MANY different areas to try that you will never get bored. There were a lot of people there but it didn't feel crowded at all because it is so large. I love that they have different times for different ages groups. Having the teen only time after 9 on weekends is fabulous for our youth! Great to have a safe, clean, place to have fun together. The place is clean as a whistle and it smells clean (it is brand new) and not like many places like this that smell musty and sweaty. The staff were all nice and helpful. The equipment is brand new and very nice. You can tell they did not spare any expenses. The decorations are lively and upbeat and the music is great and appropriate. SO MUCH FUN! The only downside to this place is the cost. Unfortunately I think the cost will make it prohibitive for many to go. I know our family cannot afford the high cost very often and wish there coupon days or specials or even a membership of some sort. As it is Monday night is family night and we will be able to go every once in a while for that. They have a parent and me kids hour but it is not convenient to working parents (9 in morning). I work all week and the last thing I want to do is get up and go early on a Saturday and Sunday morning and I can't go during the week, so that is a bummer.This is actually more expensive than Charlie Safari, Hands on Childrens Museum, the Zoo, movies, etc since there are no membership options. This was my son and my first time ever going to a trampoline park. Staff wasn't really engaged with customers, reminded me of troubled teens who are court-ordered to work off hours. Patrons are required to wear "grippy socks" 'which they sell, dollar store socks for $5. Not a big deal though. Just mention you brought your own and chances are you can find a pair in the foam pools. (Just kidding, would NOT recommend). I've never been a germophobe, but I couldn't shake the feeling that this place was even close to sanitary. I mentioned that the old-school McDonald's plastic ball pits were more sanitary than their 8" foam squares that soak up all the bodily fluids you could imagine. If you need to use the bathroom, you're probably walking there in your $5 dollar store sticky socks. My suggestion, bring along some pool sandals that you can slip on because the bathrooms (women) are a MESS!! Can't imagine what the men's bathroom is like. Water ALL over the counters, toilets, etc. I opted for hand sanitizer, so I didn't soak my socks in questionable liquid. All-in-all, it was a fun time with my 12yo kiddo, who had an absolute BLAST! I took my 4 kids here today it was super busy. I was helped by someone at front desk I believe her name was Maya, she was very enthusiastic despite it being so busy and very accommodating to my children. The place itself is very fun they have slides amongst a bunch of other things that kept the kids busy. On the downside the bathrooms are somewhat gross and the food from the fuel zone was kind of burnt and one of the shift leads were very rude and disrespectful all together she was on her phone while Maya and someone else had to deal with the huge lines I asked her for help and she sent me to someone else. I bought a season pass, but I won't be back even if it means I lost money on it. Won't have a birthday party here either. The risk of getting that worker is just too much. I never had a problem here before. Everyone is always so friendly. My son likes it and we have many play dates here. Today was a completely different story. Before anyone gets any assumptions, we follow rules and I make sure my kids follow them also. We weren't being wild, obnoxious or being dangerous. He's 4 and I have a 1.5 year old. We don't do crazy stunts here. We were just building with foam blocks. My son was building blocks in the foam pit near the dodge ball area. He wasn't building alone either. He was with another child who he met there. As soon as she left the staff came huffing and waving his arms and said we weren't allowed to build on Friday's-Sunday's. Okay that's fine I'll make my son stop building. Not sure why it took over 20 minutes for him to realize we weren't supposed to build with blocks. Or why he did tell me before we got it. I mean I have little kids it's assumed they'll build stuff. What really got my attention wAs that 3 other families after my son were building right in front of the worker and he said nothing. The worker didn't blow the whistle, flag the families down...nothing. Mom and child were building away. I apologize my family isn't Caucasian. I'm sure if we were we would still be building with foam blocks. This worker also is obsessed with his whistle. I'm all about safety, but when my 1.5 yo slides down on her back she needs a few seconds to flip over and get back up. Whistle because she's on her back. Whistle she's in her stomach. My gosh, she's not pure muscle where she can just jump to her feet from her back or stomach. So I also observed other children on their back or stomach for more that 10 seconds. Nothing again. I've never been so targeted in my life. If my family was doing something wrong I get it, but this was borderline harassment. Found out the kid's name is Dawson. Thanks for ruining our time there. Kids had fun but the faculty is soooooo dirty! bathrooms have no soap, floor is soaking wet, TP all over the floor! I told a employee who said "we dont have anyone who can clean them sorry" 5 employees were standing chatting. If you can't maintain your faculties you shouldn't be open! there are sooooo many kids here and I have seen 50 people go into the bathroom that mean NO ONE is using soap, everyone walked through what I can hope is just water on the bathroom floor, while dodging the TP on the floor. I've got four boys and they all LOVE coming here! You only have to fill out the waiver once every six months. They get these cute socks with grips on the bottom. It's a great way to get the kids off the video games and doing something physical. There are so many different stations and activities to keep them interested. I usually go for an hour at a time. The foam pits are really cool because they can practice carafe by jumping in them or work on their grip strength by using the trapeze or work in their balance. Highly recommend! read more
