The small party toll room but really nicely decorated by the Jungle Gym

We went here for a 3 year old's birthday party. The inside of the gym is lots of fun with a bounce house and slide, trampoline, rope swinging and rock climbing wall. I think that this would be perfect for 4 year olds and older as it required a lot of parental supervision for the younger kids under 3. It was really hot inside the party room space where the kids ate food and drinks as it was quite small and not big enough to move around easily enough with parents and kids. They did decorate the party room really well with balloons, birthday sign with the kids name on it and it felt very festive. If you are having a birthday party here it's great because you don't need to bring any decorations. Just bring the food, drinks and cake.

Trying to hold the kids from all the fun for a few seconds so we can have a group picture. :)

We celebrated our boy's 3rd bday there. We had 10 kids and about 20 adults. We had a blast. The staff was amazing. The coaches kept everyone engaged with very fun and age appropriate games! I highly recommend Jungle Gym!

Bongo made her birthday the whole way home all she could say was "I miss my friend Bongo"!!!! So cute

Such a fun time as always we celebrated my Daughter's 6th bday here and it was so perfect!! The only complaint would be that it was soooooooo hot!!! Other than that the girls were helpful and attentive, the set up in the room was a little different, and super clean and organized I hope they expand and add some a/c here!! That's be such a great addition to this space:) Keep up the great work Kevon

This is an interesting and useful space for parents and kids. In addition to movement classes, The Jungle Gym is a much beloved spot for birthday parties, and drop in playtime. Check their website for times for drop-in play.

    Time to open presents!

Always a good place to let kids burn energy, in the rainy PNW! Clean facility, plenty of parking. Highly recommended!

They have a small arcade area when you walk in. You can also pay to play with the steam tables in a different section. There are snacks and some bites of food sold inside. I didn't notice much people opting for it. I would def recommend bringing a water bottle in, they are $2.50 a bottle inside. There was free black coffee set out for parents, but I didn't see any creamer. Two restrooms inside that were big, nice and clean. The kids had fun jumping in the ball pit, foam pit, some trampoline. There is a fun beaded pit with some toys to play with. Great place to burn the kids energy for the day.

However, trying to book a party myself has been incredibly frustrating. I've called multiple times at different times of the day, and no one ever answers the phone. I also sent a message on Instagram, which wasn't seen until the next day, and even then, it was left on read with no response. For a business that is clearly active and posting, that level of communication is really disappointing. The lack of customer service makes it very difficult to move forward with booking, especially when the website doesn't clearly answer all questions. I prefer being able to speak to someone directly, and not having that option, or any response at all, is frustrating. It's unfortunate because we were genuinely excited to book here based on our previous experience, but the poor communication ultimately cost them our business.

The eyewear they provide is extremely important! I wore sweats and I was glad! Some shots can leave a sting! It's not any worse that a normal nerf gun but smaller children might not love it. I would say this is perfect for ages 6-75! It was truly epic! If you haven't gone yet, you are missing out! It was really fun!

I forgot my diaper bag in the premises and exited the area around 6:55 PM and by 7:00PM I received a call from a friend to pick my bag. By 7:02 I was in there and the employee asked me to verify it. I told them the brand name and as it was a diaper bag told them I had some wipes and diaper along with some clothing . He asked me what was the clothing , I told him I couldn't remember exactly as it was in the bag for a while . He asked me what else was there , I told him there was a bottle but couldn't exactly give details about what was on it , he refused to give the bag to me and was extremely rude . I pleaded him initially as my kid was in the car but he showed no remorse but kept on insisting I cannot give the bag as it's a protocol . Couple of us tried to explain him that It was ours and I can him a copy of my Id and email/ phone number as well but he was so determined to lock the door . It was very clear he didn't want to hand over the bag at any cost because at this time it was more of this ego . I party host explained that we were part of the party and they can be contacted if anyone else approaches for the diaper bag but he simply refused to hear any of us out . Even his fellow colleague asked him to hand over the bag but at that point he made up his mind . Extremely poor customer service and rude , unethical behavior.

Our coach, Claudia, is amazing - she does a wonderful job meeting participants where they are at and them pushing them just a little further past their comfort zone. I have never done gymnastics before but I am definitely having fun. The work out is similar to a HIIT class with the opportunity to play on the gymnastics equipment - you will feel like a kid again! I am docking one star because I don't think the pricing model of belonging to the gym for classes once a week and having to decide a month in advance if you will go for that month works well for adults. I would be way more inclined to go more and longer if I was able to register per class and drop in when I could.

these 2 stars are specifically 1 for the physical facility & 1 for coach emma, who was the only…read morereason that my child continued to attend SGA burien for about a year, or it would have been 2 months max. the reason for this are plentiful so i'll keep them brief. firstly, the administration desk clerks were always rude; asking any questions only resulted in a look of confusion & a response that was passively aggressive & sometimes mocking. it was actually weird. but as i said, coach emma was amazing & going above & beyond for her students. however SGA did not set up for success. she was giving out stickers after class as part of her positive reinforcement, style of coaching that she purchased out of her own pocket & it wasnt until after i told admin that i was going to bring her a giant bag that they started supplying stickers but only because 'it wasnt fair to the other classes'. & when coach emma was on sick leave/vaca, the substitute was consistently unprofessional, starting with her attire. i am very much body positive & a feminist but there are also times & places. the place to be wearing booty shorts that in fact showcase your entire rear when teaching a class for 5 year olds that does not require any actual physical activity on the part of the coach is entirely avoidable. I honestly would understand if this were in an actual Olympic approved suit and you're training more advanced athletes but if you are inside of an air conditioned building simply standing next to a balance beam and helping kids jump down as the extent of your physical exertion, there really is no need to be wearing shorts that could honestly qualify as underwear. I never even mentioned that before though because her coaching was so terrible that I wanted administration to really hear me when I explained the following things and not have it tainted with the idea that maybe I was just mad about the shorts because that was literally at the bottom of my list of grievances. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name, but that's probably for the best haha. the biggest problem was that this substitute (who taught regular classes of her own) was very hands off + unhelpful (my kid asked for chalk per usual & she was refused, without explanation. she was lacking in leadership, empathy & patience- unlike emma who was excellent about providing personal direction & making a concerted effort to help & understand what each kid needed. that is until SGA switched everything up. see, when we enrolled (fall '23) we were told that the class size maxed out at 5, & my child was taking the last spot. before our second month even ended, the class size had nearly doubled, with 9 students total. when we left there were 11. the final straw was when they raised their tuition rates by almost 15%. getting less & paying more is crazy work. we did find a better fit to fill our gymnastics void tho; you can find that review on my profile. :) (not attaching any photos to protect the privacy of the kids in them but the facility really is beautiful with great props, clean bathrooms & a fresh water refill station. i hope they restructure things to do it justice!)
