We called around to have a generator outlet installed, as well as some outdoor outlets. Executive Electric came out and provided a free estimate, and gave feedback on location of outlets, generator hook-up, as well as offered a whole-house surge protector installation. The quote provided was itemized, and included an estimated completion time for the job. We scheduled the appointment that day, in order to get a jump-start on part orders. A couple weeks later, Jeremy and Josh came out to complete the work. They were on-time for the start of the estimated window of arrival, and completed the entire job within a couple of hours. Two outdoor outlets, generator hook-up, and whole-house surge protector. Price was very fair, work was completed flawlessly and professionally, and they left the house spotless. Afterwards, they took me through their installations, ensuring that I inspected the quality of their work, and showing me how to operate the generator hook-up, outdoor outlets, and how the surge protector would activate. I requested a quote through yelp and they said to call in to the office. No problems. I spoke to the very nice lady in the office and she said she would have to schedule someone to come out to give me an estimate. Again, par for the course so I didn't think anything of it. The guy comes by, unannounced and quotes me a price. Perfect, so I said I would have to think about it and then call the office. He said that's great. I call the office a few hours later and set up an appointment for them to come a week and a half later. fast forward to appointment day - the person calls me in the afternoon (again no big deal) but then says the person that did the estimation estimated wrong and he would have to charge an extra $100 to do something that would take roughly probably a little over an hour to do. I would do it myself but I'm scared of electricity and killing myself and not having find my dead body until my neighbors can smell me. Anyways. I'm not a big fan of the bait and switch. If they knew that it was going to be extra they should have called earlier and not the day of. I was in college and got stuck w/ a lemon of a truck the very same way. 1 star because of the business practice. Services offered and the friendliness of the office lady and the guy that came out to give me an estimate (even though the guy that called on appointment day threw him under the bus on the phone) was 5 stars. read more

Just bought a new yet very old house and had an issue with and burned out switch that started sparking that knocked out power to my kitchen and refrigerator.
