I would've given them a 10 out of 10 - just recently the electrician that I requested came to my house to work on something -after he left I noticed damage that had been done to woodwork near where he worked. I did not see him cause this damage, and I'm sure that it was accidental, but there is no other explanation. He is sure he didn't cause the damage and I am sure he did- that's not even the problem. The problem is Macson's attitude. The owner has denied that there was any problem on Macson's part and there's nothing they will do to help. I don't think this sounds like good customer relations at all and although I would like to have one of those electricians work for me again, I don't think Macson's stand behind their work. No I have to hire a finished carpenter to remedy this problem. People make mistakes and good companies admit that and back up their employees. This was certainly not done in this case.

The gentleman I spoke with, was able to schedule me for an appointment the same week and gave me great information on how best to accomplish my goals. The estimate was also very reasonable after doing cost comparisons. Griffin, our installer was an incredible electrician. He was very knowledgeable and worked diligently and quickly to change all of our outdated outlets with ease. Here is a picture of him, adjusting our dining room light fixture to the proper height. I literally found this company from ad sent to my house in those value packs with coupons and this was the second business i called due to service call being so expensive and Hoover offered a coupon. I was very cautious of not saying it was an EMERGENCY because you know other business like to charge extra but initally when i called it was a leak pin hole leak on my pipes. The female on the phone (I don't remember her name) was trying to offer me a date which she had to move something around but i didn't want her to do anything extra since it wasn't bad (AT THAT TIME). We booked after a few hours, then my plumbing escalated - of course i called back and she was happy to fit me in. Please note their scheduling are just like cabling hours they'll give you a large window but they will be there!!! After getting a quote which John the technician who answered all my questions and we even joked a little due to the situation - I felt like I was made a priority. He came out on Friday and was able to get the work done on Monday - the two guys (Rhyan/Dustin) working on it was awesome. They didn't mine when i asked to take pictures because the worked looked so great and they were reporting everything especially if they needed to leave to run to the hardware store. I was happy with pricing and also they have a membership which will give you a discount along with other benefits which covers future services calls as well. Get it!!! They send you a FULL REPORT with pictures of the finish job and not just one - everything area. Will i be using them in the future?! YES and i'm a VIP member. Lol! Happy plumbing!!!

Hoover said they could come out within 30 minutes and it would only be $89. They made it sound like at the very least scoping would be included with that charge, so sure why not. I was even told by an earlier technician that "the guy with the scope was coming." The guy that came not only didn't use a scope, but he barely glanced at the pipe with my root issue. He then went out to his truck to smoke and take calls for 10 minutes. Eventually I had to go out in the rain and get his attention since I was still working. I was quoted over $2000, well over $1,000 more than what any other company quoted me. Once I mentioned the other quotes, the price magically came down a few hundred. I was then given a brochure for their subscription plan. It all felt very predatory, similar to what you might experience at a car dealership. I'm sure they do decent work and they like to tout their many positive Google reviews stating as much. If you actually read through them you'll see a theme: many people despite being happy with the work think they paid too much and they're probably right. They'll get the job done, but you'll pay more than you should. If you look at their recent Yelp reviews, they are more in line with what I experienced. I had another company, Bison Plumbing, come out. They similarly have a large number of reviews, but you'll notice the theme with a lot of their reviews is "great pricing." They looked at my issue and told me snaking or jetting wouldn't do much. They said that small roots coming in from drainage tiles are inevitable and not to lose sleep over it. Finally they didn't even charge me for coming out (and didn't offer any subscriptions). One final issue was that their technician entered my house wearing Meta Rayban video recording glasses. If you're a service technician entering people's homes with those glasses, you need to at least be upfront about it. I didn't notice until the visit was over, but it was impossible to tell if he was recording the whole time. In the end, I'm glad I only lost $89 on the service call because it could have been much more. Do yourself a favor and don't settle on this company. Not every plumbing company charges a premium for good work or will try to charge you for services you don't really need. +1 star for wearing booties in my home without me needing to ask +1 star for the nice lady on the phone and Aubrey Long who was a cool dude -3 stars for all my other issues

The installation was less than a year old and clearly flawed. While they acknowledged the poor workmanship, they refused to honor the franchise warranty. I tried contacting the franchise directly but never received a response. To make matters worse, their quote to fix the issue was nearly double the original cost. Thankfully, after seeking other options, I found Saturn Electric in Rochester. The inspector approved the installation immediately after they made the change. I do not recommend Mr. Electric of Macomb, but I strongly endorse Saturn Electric for anyone.
