They continue to crank out amazing ciders. Two dedicated draft lines for craft beer, a couple canned beer options, some canned cocktails and apple cider (get it warm with whiskey!). The food menu has really found its groove with the addition of Jim Trainer and their creative dishes. Trivia 1st and 3rd Thursdays and local artist displayed on the walls with musicians playing most Sundays.

A GF sent me a TikTok reel of the Brewery since she has celiac & I have a GF intolerance. My husband & I enjoyed both of our flights we got. As seen in the picture provided I did a cider flight as well as my husband. Then my husband decided to try the meads and did a flight of those. I ended up just getting a 4 Oz of another cider. The staff were super helpful with recommendations & they were super friendly! We enjoyed the environment of the Brewery as well! Will definitely have to take a trip back again soon!

Wow. This place is incredible. Looks like a typical NJ brewery both inside and out (located in an…read moreindustrial park with the usual exposed beam ceiling and concrete floors inside) but plot twist: they only brew ciders and meads. No beer. But the ciders and meads are phenomenal. My girlfriend and I stopped in yesterday on a Saturday afternoon, which was our first time there. We each tried a cider flight and a mead flight and loved everything. Definite standouts for me were the Mother Muse and Tulsi (both had a nice mix of sweet fruit taste with a hint of herbs like rosemary and basil) and the Ayamarcay with its decadent peanut/chocolate flavor. The story of how this place came to be is just as incredible. Founding member Christian Annese was misdiagnosed many years ago with Celiac, which led him to the world of ciders and meads. At the time, NJ laws made it incredibly difficult to brew quality cider, and mead was effectively illegal. So Christian and his partners worked tirelessly with NJ legislators to change the law, and in 2020 Armageddon opened for business. Highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be back!

The uniqueness of the cider is the highlight of the meal that is already exceptional. It's also a place you can feel good about supporting. The mission of Iron Bound since its founding has been to be good stewards of the land and good humans all around. The energy here is as immaculate as the food. If you are coming from a distance pack a cooler with ice to take home the home grown meats. The breakfast sausage is our favorite!

And the inside dining area feels like it wants to be casual and family friendly but to me, it just seemed stuffy and high end. I was greeted upon entering by a nice gentleman. I told him it was my first time so he explained that I'm allowed to bring food if I drank outside otherwise, the dining room was for their food only. They serve Cape May Brewery beer in addition to their cider. I love that. What a nice partnership! The two servers at the bar were cold and aloof. The Milk Buns were not so pillowy. They were warm on the outside but still cold on the inside. The honey butter was FANTASTIC!! And my cider flight was DELICIOUS! Not to mention I had the most amazing view to enjoy them with!

Burnt Mills Cider, located on US Route 206 in Bedminster in a beautifully restored farm building,…read moreoffers innovative house-made "flavor-forward" ciders made from locally-sourced apples, a cozy but comfortable indoor tasting room with oak paneling and wood furniture crafted from the trees cleared on-site during construction, and a family-friendly and dog-friendly outdoor space with picnic tables, fire pits, and cornhole games. Burnt Mills offers a range of sweet and dry fruit-forward ciders in 4 oz., 8 oz., and 16 oz. servings with 12 options on tap, including seasonal specialties available only for a limited time. Thankfully, you can sample several of them at a time by ordering a flight of four 4 oz. servings. On my most recent visit, I really enjoyed the General George (5.5% ABV), a balanced cider featuring tart black cherry rounded out by vanilla that's smooth and dangerously easy to drink, and the Friendsgiving 2025 (5.5% ABV), a holiday in a glass that is a complex blend of cranberries, orange peel, rosemary, honey, and cinnamon. YUM! I'm definitely excited to go back and try the other varieties on-tap, then grab a growler or cans to go. PRO TIP #1: Drive slowly in the parking lot. There's a large dip midway up the driveway from US Route 206 that could bottom out your vehicle. PRO TIP #2: Pack a picnic basket. While recent changes to New Jersey's previously draconian liquor laws have eased many restrictions on microbreweries and cideries, they still can't have full-service kitchens. Burnt Mills often hosts food trucks on the weekends (check their calendar!), but you'll want to pack your own snacks if you visit during the week. You can also bring your own food or order from local Bedminster/Far Hills restaurants via a delivery app!

It can get pretty busy when the weather is nice, but we're always able to find a spot. People bring picnic blankets and chairs and spread out over the lawn. It's child and dog friendly with a fair amount of parking. I believe they allow outdoor food and snacks and there's typically a food truck on the side as well. They change their on tap ciders every season and there are so many options! If you want to try as many as possible, you can't go wrong with a flight or two. Some of our favorites are hibiscus rose, cider donut, chai, and mojito. They have 4 packs of their most popular ciders that can buy to take home. Overall, a fantastic spot for couples and families. We'll definitely be back next spring to try their new flavors.
