This winery is close to our home. We went during the day and we were the only ones there. They have a seating area outside with a few fire pits. The inside is a large room with several high tops were you can enjoy your wine. We had 2 flights that allowed us to taste a variety of their wines. We liked a couple of wines enough to buy some bottles. Unlike other places, they do not offer charcuterie or crackers with their flights. read more

A cozy little roadside winery with an enjoyable array of wines. The staff is very friendly and the backdrop almost has a woodsy, hunting lodge type feel. Very well decorated and designed, without feeling pretentious. Plenty of space so you don't feel like you're on top of other guests. We've come here with our kids, and as part of adults-only gathering and had a great time both ways. In the warmer months you can enjoy your drink outside, but I really dig the interior most of all. My preferred wines here are the sweeter reds, particularly the Deliciously Red! I recommend a tasting to see what you like and then settle in for a spell and enjoy a bottle afterwards. read more

Another awesome find in Chester County! The owner is so nice and very knowledgeable about the wines they have. My mom and I came here with a friend and we each did a wine flight. You can mix types of wine and you get 4 total, which equals about a glass and a half of wine. My favorite that I tried was the pinot grigio. We ended up getting a bottle of it and a bottle of the Reserve Cab Sav (which is not available in flights). I loved the Cab Sav too! The owner gave us some free samples of their wine slushie and OMG were they amazing! They were the perfect treat and not too sweet. I definitely want to come back and get them again. Absolutely loved this gem ! I have been driving by it for awhile and finally had a day free to check it out for the brandywine valley wine trail event. Although we only went to this winery on the trail it was awesome. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was super friendly. When we walked in we were greeted and went over to the poring station. They had creamy mushroom soup and merlot paired today. I think I was glowing when I heard that it was gluten free! Andddd they even had a gluten free crostini on top! I was pleased to find out that they have gluten free options on their girls nights and events there. The soup was so delicious ! Now on to the wine- we sampled six different wines at the tasting bar. Both reds and whites were delicious and the blends were phenomenal! We bought a bottle to bring home and can not wait to go back. If you are in the area I would highly recommend stopping by! read more

I love stopping by here on my way home from work to pick up a quick bottle of delicious wine! I have used some of their more unique flavors (Cranberry, Indian Summer, Spice of Life) as gifts and always receive great reviews- Cranberry wine is especially a crowd pleaser! The owners and staff are always so friendly. They have a huge yard and are dog friendly, often hosting fundraisers for the SPCA. They also have yoga & wine nights and host wine glass painting nights as well. Also, you can rent their space to host small parties. Highly recommend! read more

We were taking the scenic route home and decided to look for a winery...Yelp to the rescue. The $5 tasting included 6 samples, which amounted in total to a glassful. They have a nice selection, including unique blends. We then purchased a glass of wine and found some Adirondack chairs in the shade outside. The inside is nice, as well and a gentleman was playing guitar in the corner. The staff were friendly and unpretentious. We left with 2 bottles of wine and would certainly go back. read more

We loved this winery! We were visiting for a country music festival, and just decided to stop in one morning when we didn't have anything to do. The wines themselves are good, and the property is beautiful. They have a nice patio area that's peaceful and shaded. Wow what a cool winery this was! The day was amazing and this little winery is tucked away right by a nice little creek. The outdoor space is great at first you think there isn't too much space but after talking to someone else that was there you are actually able to go all the way down to the creek. The inside of the remodeled old barn was done so great and the wines are all pretty good too. They all were a little tart which is not the most common from my experience which is something I liked. They are also dog friendly if you stay outside too. The area is so great, the wines are good and the prices ($6 for 6 wine tasting, $7 if you try the new Chardonnay) makes this a great stop. read more

My favorite wine here is the sweet blend "Deliciously Red" which is described as "Concord with a touch of raspberry." Besides the unique blends, they offer sweet as well as more traditional dry red and white wines. The wines are exquisite, and they reflect the distinctive spirit found in Pennsylvania wines. I enjoy visiting wineries but this is the first one to inspire me to write a review. The people here are sincere -- warm, welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable about their winery. Cute and quaint gem. We live very close to the winery which makes it convenient. The owner Ben and his staff have always been warm, welcoming and enjoyable to converse with. The environment is clean, upscale and beautiful. Gorgeous deck to watch the sunset or to view the French Creek. Would highly recommend for a tasting, a few glasses or for a venue to have an event. I've been a customer of the winery for a few years, but recently used them for a memorial party for about 30 people. I've never hosted anything like that and was stressing. The owners and staff of Stone Barn were so very tolerant of my nervous-nelly emails and questions, and they were so very helpful the night of the event. Their wines are fabulous and stand alone, but the gentle support and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. I really felt like I was hanging out with some new friends. I've been to many wineries in PA and there are many that are larger but feel like retail shopping. Stone Barn isn't large, but is warm and cozy inside and out. The perfect size for events of about 30 people. My only constructive comment is that it is easy to drive by the winery if you haven't been there before. I did have a lot of guests who were lost or passed by it a few times. Perhaps a larger sign or flag (or a 6 foot wine bottle) along Rt 100 would help! This is my favorite winery for oh-so-many-reasons. Their wines are really great and I received many positive comments from wine-loving-guests. The atmosphere of the winery is lovely and cozy, and I cannot wait to go back. Thank you to the owners and staff for making my event so wonderful. Couldn't have done it without you. read more

Very nice winery! The staff couldn't have been more friendly or attentive. There was a large party in the tasting room so it was a little noisy but not so much that you couldn't hear.
