Pennsylvania Spiced Apple Harvest wine
Kelleigh J.

First time here! I loved it. The gentleman was super nice and helpful when I said I was looking for a sweet wine. I went with the Apple Harvest. It has the perfect balance of apple, cinnamon, and clove. I can't wait to go back and try other wines!

Cute winery. I was driving by and was so curious I had to stop in. Very low key almost a hole in the wall like place. But the wine was good. The Strawberry Lemon Sangria was my favorite. Very cozy with big comfortable conches. Friendly service. People were constantly coming in and out.

We were driving by when we noticed this place on the side of the road and decided we had to check it out! The chickens and goats are what drew our eyes to this spot. We had a wonderful time, the bartender was super friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable and the family of owners were really nice. The wines were all delicious and it's only $5 for a tasting! Our favorite part was probably watching the chickens, roosters, goats and lambs out back. If I had one recommendation it would be to add another seating area to the other side so you can sit and watch all the animals out back! We'll definitely be back for another trip! Definitely worth a trip to check this spot out! Cheers Chicken!!!

On of the best wineries I have ever been to. The winemaker personally had us sample the wines cause the bar was full. Bought 3 bottles!!!

Love the converted old farmhouse. You can really feel the history and the character of the…read morebuilding, which enhances the wine tasting experience. It feels like you're visiting the home of an old friend. We particularly enjoy the dry red wines and the sweet wines that Ridgewood offers. For the reds, the Merlot and Cab Franc were noteworthy for their balance and nice finishes. The Merlot was silky, oaky and smooth approach. The Cab Franc is a bit spicier, bolder and robust - wine to pair with a nice, hearty meat dish. On the sweet side of things, the Diamond is a subtle, light choice for those who are prone to be turned-off by heavier, acidic reds. The Peach Splendor is a pleasant surprise with a fresh, light, fruit-forward feel. Pair this with some chocolate squares if you're enjoying it after a meal. The Olde Orchard has a great "fall season" feel, complete with elements of apple pie, a hint of tartness and a blend of sweet. Finally, the Underground is a rising star that everyone seems to be discovering lately. It's a Merlot family member that gains a unique, but delicious flavor thanks to be un-oaked. Elements of blackberry and rose petals, with a semi-sweet finish and a nice, fuller body. This one has a little bit of everything and is probably the most intriguing option on the menu. Very clean. Very smooth. Be sure to give it a shot.

While their outdoor space is an excellent feature during warmer weather, I wanted to highlight their winter weekend offerings, which involve various food pairings offered in their cute indoor space (by reservation only!!) My most recent experience was their Wine and Cheese Pairing, which is featured every January. Each year, they curate a combination of local cheese and either honey/jam to pair with their wines, and every year, it's a hit. My favorite pairing this year involved their Pinot Rose, a delicious cheddar, and an orange ginger honey that was absolutely delightful. I also particularly enjoy their wine and cupcake pairing offered every March in partnership with Dia Doce cupcakes --- a highlight of every spring.

The tasting room is so cute and cozy, and there is plenty of outdoor seating options when the weather permits. The wine is the best I've had in the area, and you can also purchase meat/cheese/etc to enjoy with your tasting. I would highly recommend!
