Update! Went back again and checked out the tasting room this time! It is so cute in there! They didn't have glasses for flights so we just did a couple full glasses and the Sauv Blanc was really good! We also got cheese and bread which was delish! Just as a heads up if you have mobility challenges this can be a bit of a tricky spot (I have an ankle injury and a walking boot) you have to walk through gravel, down a hill, and to access the restroom there are a good amount of stairs. Just something to keep in mind. read more

Featuring a romantic, country estate feel, This location is perfect for casual, gatherings, romantic, getaways, weddings, or get togethers with friends and family. The staff is incredibly friendly and engaging, and more than willing to tell you more about the property or the selection of very good wines that they serve. The flights are reasonably priced and provide a tasty selection of red, whites, or rosé. Of particular note, the Cabernet Franc and the Pinot Gris stand out as excellent selections. Grace winery also offers a selection of small plates, shareables, and other quality food items from their kitchen - and there are a number of excellent options. Of note are the burgers, the lobster sliders, the cheesesteak sliders, and the shrimp tacos. As the name suggests, Grace winery also has an in that guest can book if they're looking for a romantic getaway. There are many great options nearby that are worth visiting, you could very easily spend an entire day or the better part of a weekend without ever leaving the property. We recently spent the night and had an amazing time. Cheyenne, who works the front desk, was fantastic and so hospitable. Breakfast was delicious, and our room was wonderful! We didn't want to leave, but we will definitely return for more peace and quiet sometime this fall or winter. The wines are great. The scenery is stunning. The service and food are excellent. I've gone just to wine tastings and have stayed overnight several times to escape the city. Grace Winery never disappoints. I'm glad my boyfriend loves it as much as I do. This is my favorite place to visit weekly lately. I grab the girls, and my book every Sunday and head to Grace Winery! This past Sunday we enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip, the pita and crackers that come with the dips are almost as good as the dip themselves! Pita bread is seasoned and crisp which is soo yummy. My friend and I also split the Grilled Cheese Sandwich, AMAZING. Multiple cheeses layered on crispy thick bread. It comes with a side of spring salad with a really yummy dressing on top, not sure what it was but I was loving the salad as well! The service is always top notch, they make you feel at home! Lately the tastings on the weekends have been inside, which I am sooo glad I found out! This is by far my favorite way to enjoy this winery so I'm taking advantage as long as I can. One of our servers, Howey, gave us some carrots to feed to the donkeys, goats and horses! It was a nice break from our books. We easily spent 5 hours here on Sunday, and we will be back! read more

We attended a wedding at the winery. OMG! It was absolutely stunning. This is a marvelous and wonderful venue. The ceremony was outdoors behind "the barn". The social hour was in the lower level of said barn, with dinner and cake upstairs. Bars on both levels, and a few levels for bathroom access. I feel bad leaving a poor review, but I also want to be honest to those considering coming here. We started at the Tasting Room, each getting a glass of wine - the ambiance was somber, but the live music was just beginning so I imagine things picked up once we had to leave for our dinner reservations next door. Regretfully, I wish we ate here. We went next door to the Manor House to eat, each getting the 3 course meal. The lobster app was good. Everything else was ridiculously salty - both myself and my non-picky husband eat a plentiful amount in terms of quantity, and neither of us could finish any of the courses - mushroom soup, cod, and pasta. These 3 dishes practically burnt your lips from the salt. The cocktails weren't craft whatsoever. The dessert was dry. Our server was kind. But this was just overall a bad meal and we unfortunately will not be returning. read more

I stayed at the inn to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. The room was nice, the grounds are beautiful. We came back a year later with our son and immediately got turned away as they don't allow anyone under 21 including babies. Apparently they claimed he is a liability. It's on the website but not easy to find. This is the first winery that I have been to that does not allow children. Not family friendly at all. They allow dogs, I guess they are not a liability unless they bite someone. I used to tell people about this place but will not be doing so anymore. read more

We went during a busy time and the staff continued to be helpful and attentive while waiting on a lot of customers. My friend and I made a New Year's resolution to visit as many Pennsylvania wineries as we could this year. Last Sunday we only had a few hours so we picked a winery that was closer to Philadelphia, where we live. When we arrived at grace winery, we were impressed by the beautiful scenery and the old barn where the tasting room is located. It was a perfect spring day, but in the winter, so the place was pretty crowded with people excited to get out of their houses. Because of the crowd, we had to wait an hour for our tasting. However, they did let us order a glass of wine, and even gave me a taste of two wines so I could decide which one I wanted. I ended up deciding on the 1734 red blend, which was smooth and well balanced. We ordered a large cheese plate, and then headed into the dining room to find a seat. Well it was a beautiful space, the tables were not set up in the most optimal way, and it felt very disorganized. The cheese plate took a long time for us to get, and when we did, I was a little disappointed by how little cheese was on the large option. Well the three cheeses they did include were delicious, and they did give some interesting veggies fruits and meats, there was too much olive and mustard on the plate for my taste considering I really don't like olives and mustard. Finally, it was time for our tasting. The winds over all we're pretty good, but nothing seemed particularly unique. I'm not a big fan of white wines, but I did really enjoy the reserve Chardonnay, which had a less oaky taste than I typically get from Chardonnays. My biggest disappointment was the setup and service, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they weren't quite prepared yet for a springtime crowd in February. Overall, the wine was good and the grounds were beautiful, and I do plan to return in nicer weather to enjoy them. read more

I came here last week for a gals day trip to get some vino and peruse some event venues. I loved the wines I tasted here and enjoyed spending time walking around the property. This is a beautiful estate and would be great spot to rent out for a party or small wedding. The building has a classy rustic barn aesthetic/vibe. Wine is great and so is the setting. I was here a few months ago with 3 of my friends and we all ubered. We had a flight each over 3 hours and ordered food. It was a very slow day. Out of nowhere, we were given our check and the manager came over and said it was time for us to leave so we could get home safely. I asked an employee nearby if we did something wrong and he had no idea. I apologized the server if we did something and she said we were fine my friend's eye just looked overly drowsy and she was worried about her driving. I explained that was just how my friend looked and that we all ubered here. She said had she known she would have never said anything to her manager as we seemed fine it was just precautionary. Being asked to leave so abruptly was a poor experience. When my friend got home and told her husband he was shocked as she seemed perfectly fine. Grace Winery has never let me down. Whether it's in the tasting room, a stay at the inn, or a weekend dinner night, everything is always special. The wine is excellent (Pinot Gris, Gracie Red, and 1734 are my favorites). The atmosphere is lovely. Executive chef Dan Wood does a great job with his menus and variety of cuisine. The menu changes every other month and is always spot on. Three course meal with wine pairing is $90pp which I think is a great value. Highly recommend going for dinner. read more

We came here to the Manor House dining room for a Valentine's Day dinner and really enjoyed the experience. I felt like I was coming to a friend's home - the space is quaint and charming, the tables were nicely spaced apart, and the service friendly and helpful. It was a pre-price fixe menu for $75 and the food was good. My neighbor recently went to the Tasting Room during the afternoon and enjoyed that as well. We'll be back! read more

Everything was amazing except the service. It was good food, amazing ambience but our service put a damper on our experience. We could never get our servers attention we waved her down maybe 7 times and she ignored us every time. I have been to Grace Winery for several special events in the past but will never stay there overnight again. The cottages are not comfortable. Food is average. I am not sure what business model the owners of this place follow, but clearly they don't care about their customers. I returned today hoping for a better experience than the last time I was there. Pre-covid, this was a great place but today was a disastor due to the inhospitality and disregard from management. I was feeling bad about the whole experience but then I read all the one star reviews, and they all cite management and staff as being rude and uncaring which validated my feelings and experience. Apparently the owners are related to royalty so maybe income and repeat business are not important to them. This is one of those reviews were you want to give different star ratings for different aspects of the venue. When it comes to ambience and setting Grace is downright gorgeous. Together the inn and winery make you feel like you're on a splendid estate- The setting and buildings are truly beautiful, in fact really spectacular. I can see why this is a wedding destination. 5 stars. But- and you have to know there was a but coming - the wine just doesn't live up to the setting. The Pinot Grigio is OK. I found that the Chardonnay and the Sauvignon Blanc lacked any real verve/character. The rose is passable. The red blends - Bordeaux style- show some promise but YIKES -- not at these prices!!! This is some seriously overpriced wine. I mean, I know the model for wineries has changed to essentially being a wine bar type of approach - so you know you're going to pay essentially bar prices. But there's a limit to what I'll pay. There has to be some value! So while the wine isn't bad necessarily, it just isn't worth anywhere close to what they want per bottle. Two stars. At Grace you're paying a steep premium to drink average PA wine in a beautiful setting. As long as you don't mind that equation, by all means you definitely want to visit Grace. read more

I am writing this review regarding the restaurant. I have never been so disappointed in the food. We order off of the Prix fixed menu. The following items for main course, Bucatini, Filet, and Scallops. The Scallops were the only items that were okay. The Bucatini and uncooked pasta and super chewy lobster which was almost not edible it was so bad, and the filet did not appear to be properly cooked. We had to return several of the entrees because they were so bad. Not only did they not even bother to come and at least acknowledge the issues with the entree. But We spent almost $700 for the meal/tip. With 4 entrees sent back because they were literally disgusting. I have dined at many establishments and never experience such bad quality of food and service. In fact, one of the employees was gossiping with another diner about us sending back our entrees. Tacky and classless to say the least!. No wonder they do this fixed menu they will give you awful food and charge you for it and they could care less to make it right! Whatever you do, do not spend your money there. Icing on the cake to this horrible experience is I almost twisted my ankle with my heels because they have large divets in the entry way and it was freezing gold in this enclosed patio, so not actually an indoor space. By far the worst dining experience. So save your money and time and go elsewhere. read more

Another amazing stay at The Inn at Grace Winery! This weekend we celebrated a friends birthday, and everything exceeded our expectations! Although the tasting room was closed, we were able to schedule a private tasting. Rachel and Maria are both so knowledgeable about the wines they make on the estate, and they are able to give excellent recommendations based on your own tastes. Our group also had a private dinner in the wine cellar. Let me tell you: it was spectacular! I was able to share the almond bisque and the fennel salad - both excellent! For my entree I had the mushroom gnocchi, and I was absolutely blown away. Dinner finished with a delicious blood orange dessert. The chef Dan is truly a pro and is an artist in the kitchen. All his food is beautifully plated and leaves me wanting more and more and more. The continental breakfast never disappoints. The homemade yogurt, granola, and baked oatmeal make for a great breakfast. May I also recommend their bloody Mary's and breakfast sandwiches. Maria took us on a very educational tour of the winery, then we went off for the meet the animals experience with the general manager Cody. I loved being able to brush the horses and play with the goats and learn about all the animals and where they came from. It's nice to see how much they care about the animals there. Just don't! Where to begin...go to Jersey have a better experience...go to Media's Wine Bar have a better date. I've been all over PA and NJ, this winery is over priced with disappointing wines. I was ok to accept the $30 price for 2 tasting (that's $15 for 4 wines with a pathetic pour) when they handed me a plastic cup and said that it is a dog friendly winery after I asked where's the glass, I called them out on the bull shit. After MANY winery's over MANY years this is this first policy like this I have ever heard. The Chardonnay they tried to push as a champagne fizzed complete flat 4 minutes after tasting. The Rose' left literally a shit taste in my mouth. Ask for water... 'NO' bring your own. We did not sample the food, but were immediately pushed at the counter to open a tab. Really horrible service from the manager and event coordinator (Elizabeth and Rachel). They have no regard for their customers, take weeks to respond to questions, don't hold reservations, forget what you tell them, and make mistakes on the bill, refuse to answer those questions and instead of trying to make things right... they have the audacity to threaten to send you to collections if you don't pay them immediately. I haven't been to many vineyards in PA, but this is my favorite PA vineyard so far. The farm ambiance is absolutely perfect, both in and outside the red barn. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and on Sundays it seems they have live music which was an added bonus. The wines were good (I drink a lot of California and Italian wines). The vineyard seems to have mastered keeping their wines from getting as sweet as other PA wines. Additionally, they offer a beer flight which was a nice change of pace! Elegant atmosphere, top notch facility, great food, and exceptional wines, Grace Winery excels in every category. My primary concern, glancing at the really slick website, the historic inn, and the wedding venue information, that it was going to be overly expensive and stuffy. Well, it is a little pricier than most wineries in the area, with a tasting coming in at $15 for five wines and a sangria. However, the pours are extremely generous, and you probably end up with two glasses by the end. Bottles range in price from $16 to $32. And you know what - it wasn't stuffy at all. It felt very accessible and no pretentious winery would ever make sangria. The tasting room is really nice, easy to see why it's a popular wedding spot. As a heads up, no outside food is allowed in the tasting room as they serve their own. Of course the above paragraph means nothing if the wine is bad. Again, Grace Winery came through with flying colors. Starting with the 2014 Pinot Gris, exuding a beautiful straw yellow color, the wine had crisp and vibrant flavors of apple/pears. Next was the 2012 Gracie White is a white table wine made entirely with Reisling, with a fresh acidity that pairs extremely well with food. The last white was the 2013 Chardonnay had only a touch of oak, being mostly crisp and dry (I believe they described it as approachable, and it's a good comparison). The two reds the winery offer are blends - the 2013 Dragonfly Red Blend and the 2013 "1734" Red Blend - and I love blended reds. The Dragonfly Red (55% Merlot; 45% Cab Franc) was my favorite of the two, fruit forward cherries and raspberries with soft tannins and vanilla. The 1734 (64% Merlot; 29% Cabernet Franc; 7% Cabernet Sauvignon) was also really good, with more oak and char but still having those dark fruits and solid tannins. We ended with Sangria, which is perfect for a summer day in the high 90s. Grace Winery produces some of the most professionally made wines in the area coupled with a beautiful setting perfect for dates or a classier day out with friends. I will definitely be back and you should definitely go. And you know what? The food is really good too. read more

I would not recommend this establishment. We did not know about the children policy. Our server, Susanne, very rudely explained it us. She said there was zero exceptions for anyone under 21. We explained it was a newborn and 3 year old that would be joining us. We had this day planned all week. This was our first visit so we were unaware of the policy. We rearrange our entire plan so the kids did not come. Well she neglected to tell us kids are welcome if it's your first time. Which it was our first time. We sat next to a family with a one and half year old the rest of our visit. They happily welcomed them. Because of this policy confusion, our server treated us horribly. She avoided our table. We had to get up MULTIPLE times to ask her to us attend to us. Ordering drinks was a nightmare. It took 35 minutes after we finished our first drink to track down our server. We ordered a dip that took 50 minutes. The bowl is the size of your hand so under no circumstances should this take that long. I attached a picture for you to see the dip we referenced. Overall, the service is just absolutely horrible. We should not have been punished for not knowing about a children policy that is not even enforced and the kids didn't even attend. Wow, I had no idea this was literally 5 minutes from me. My friend and I discovered this place on Yelp and couldn't believe how close it was. From just looking at the pictures we knew we had to go here instead of Chadsford winery which was our original plan. This place is GORGEOUS. Our hostess Mary Beth was very welcoming and got us tasting wine the minute we walked in. The wine was excellent, everything we tried was enjoyable. We were savoring our first bottle when Mary Beth picked us some of the Cabernet grapes (I think?) to eat. Amazing juicy and sweet. We took a walk around the vineyard which was massive. It's so amazing seeing the grapes that contribute to the wine that you are enjoying. There are a lot of yellow jackets but no need to worry. They are so preoccupied with the grapes that they don't bother you at all. I can't wait to go back! read more
