I went with a friend and we both ordered the cucumber pedicure but got different technicians. They both had different approaches to completing the service so the order they did things was just different. They don't really understand English. To start I had previous gel on my toes and the tech used the machine to FILE THEM OFF INSTEAD OF SOAKING!!! It's not like they didn't have time, my friend was waiting about 30 minutes to get a tech. It would have been easier to leave to soak while starting on her. Anyways, the toe next to the big toe was horrendously shaped crooked. Tech didn't understand I wanted her to file it straight and was about to cut it even shorter!! She sort of fixed it but I just gave up. Both feet have nails shaped crooked from them. As for the chrome, they put a black base and as you can see, they don't rub the chrome on edges so you wind up with black edges. I called it to attention but the tech repeated the same mistake so now they're just lumpy and thick with black edges. Honestly there was nothing special about the pedicure and the fact that I left with so much polish and powder around my nails... I don't understand the high ratings this place has. My thumb was not done at this place, ONLY PEDICURE. I will not be returning and do not recommend. As for my friend, the polish is chipping 2-3 days later despite being simple shellac/gel toes. And her nail tech dropped equipment on the floor and proceeded to just pick it up and use it on her feet... she "used alcohol" except she missed the instrument when she "cleaned" it. The main lady seems nice and I really do feel for her but the techs that serviced on Monday had poor attitudes about fixing their mistakes. read more

I can't even rate this place low enough no place for negative stars. worst pedicure EVER. woman doing my pedi was running her own race as if it was a bother for me to be there. I'm having surgery and had to have my nails soaked off. I left with my feel looking worse than when I went in and half the acrylic still on my nails. I really wanted to be pampered before surgery and left with my blood pressure higher than before. will never go here again. they won't be open long with that kind of service. read more

I took my 9y/o daughter here to get her nails done. It was about an hour before closing and Linda happily took us. She was so kind and patient and clearly explained things to us because we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. She helped us design a plan that was practical and budget friendly. She was gentle and did an incredible job. The next day I came to get my nails done because we had such a great experience. She treated me the same way and we had great conversation. She gave me exactly what I wanted and was done very fast. Everyone else at the shop was very kind and they speak English and communicate very well. Everyone also had a very positive attitude. I'm hoping things post COVID vaccine are slowly returning to normal. This salon went out of their way to accommodate me during this last year and I am so grateful. Since my person isn't working here any longer I've been very fortunate to get Loan who has throughly impressed me my last 2 visits. Lily, lily, lily...you did an exceptio-nail job indeed!!! I arrived for my 1230 appointment right on time! I was asked to pick a color from the wall-o-polish and my foot bath was awaiting my feet. Now I had a bae-by 8-months ago so you know I was in desperate need of a manicure/pedicure. Okay, if choices make you cray pick a color you like on pinterest bf coming bc they will have what you want and you wont get cooky trying to choose (I speak from experience on the cooky part). Their color selection is off the charts amazing! I selected the deluxe pedi ($35). Lily started on my feet, and did a like whoa super thorough job! Spent a lot of time, paid attention to what she was doing, the pedicure came w a scrub, lotion and warm towel wrap lotion type thing. ..and her polish skills are on point. I also got the dip manicure. She did a fabulous job. She drilled down the parts that were looking a bit thick. Totally worth the $$ and no UV light. Only thing, I wish for the dollas there was a hand massage. All and all I a picky nail salon patron LOVED the end result. I went in to get my nails done, one was broken and two were chipped. The place I had gone before severely messed up my nails and then refused to redo them when it broke 2 hours later. The couple here is super sweet, they took off my dip and she explained to me that she could do more of a coffin than square because the last place filed my nails sideways. I told her I trust her and she did not disappoint! She was so detailed and made sure everything looked perfect. Her husband took off my previous dip and was gentle, as opposed to most places that just electric file your nailbed. First time I've gone somewhere and it didn't hurt to get dip removed. So the owners weren't there today. I asked for a French with a silver overlay. I got all silver. The people there tried to up charge me everything. I Have never paid more to have nail extensions or one nail different than the other. Not sure if the owners are on vacation but if these Are the new owners I probably won't be back. Honestly dissapointed.. originally came here because or the reviews. The first time I came, they treated my mom and I very well. For 2 basic pedicures, one powder new set and one acrylic set after tip our total was $230... which is already over priced. Then not even a week later 2 of my nails pop off right at the spot where they glue the fake nail on. I went back to get them fixed and they didn't charge me which was nice but I told the man my thumb nail was cracking too and instead of fixing that one as well, only painted one more coat of paint on the nail. Now I have to go out of town with a half cracked nail right at the line of the fake nail just like the other two. So overall, nice people but not worth the price cause Their fake nails break so easily. read more

My cousin always has problems with her shellac peeling off & she's now going on 3wks with it, no peeling, no chips! Also, place is very clean & doesn't have the strong odor most nail salons have. Oh my goodness. I'm so impressed with Lily's mani and pedi. I've been visiting different nail salons in the area. Consistency is what is often missing. Also, the turnover rate in many of these salons seem high so once you find a good technician, they may be gone the next month. This was my first visit to Exceptional Nails. Lily did a super neat job. She was efficient and detail-oriented. She was very nice too. I usually get the mani dip and if it isn't done correctly it looks very thick and messy. She did an amazing job. It was neat and still natural looking. Come here now! They have a brand of dip polish that is supposedly more natural. It doesnt require a UV light which is pretty cool! My skin is very thankful. Im curious if this will last as long as the usual kind I get. Only time will tell. I'll update this review after a couple of weeks. They also place clean hand towels instead of paper towels at their sink. Earth friendly! Nice touch. read more

I stopped in for a pedi & fill. A young woman worked on my pedi while an older woman who sits at the 1st table on the right worked on my fill. The phone rang and the older woman took the call & put it in speaker while she was doing my nails. About 10 min later, the man she was talking to on the phone came in. She stopped working to get him some water. He then sat in a stool next to her to talk. It must've been a good conversation cuz she kept stopping to look at him. The only complaint about my pedicure is that the older woman sent the younger woman to work on another customer b4 she polished my toes. The older woman then reshaped some of my toenails and polished them. We proceeded to go back to her table for her to finish filing my nails after her guest left.
