Stay away from at all costs! He will quote you a price to do a job, will not complete correctly and try to charge to do the same thing again. After he does a job, he leaves his garbage all over the yard and refuses to clean up after himself. Also, was asked to replace metal valve with another metal valve. Instead of metal, he used the cheapest plastic valve available and left trash again. Would not pick up equipment after using it and leave it for us to pick up. Asked for paper invoice, which he is refusing to do. He threatened damage to my pool and my property if I didn't pay him immediately. He also refuses to pay my invoice from another company to clean up his mistakes and garbage. After he was told this, he called continuously until I finally had to block all calls and texts. Lastly, if you look at his Yelp reviews, he has clearly bought his 5 star status and if you read the few 1 star reviews that are available, you will see that he threatened them as well with physical violence. The 2 attached photos are just a minor part of the garbage left in my yard. He was given over 60 days to clean up the filters and other garbage left in the yard. The valve he charged me $120 for, was working before he even replaced it. He clearly damaged something on initial visit and charged me for it rather than taking responsibility. We have now had to involve local law enforcement to assure our safety. I am editing this review due to the response from Jorge C. Nothing above has been changed other than a period after safety. I don't care how many times you apologized, your helper was asked three times to remove everything and acted like he didn't understand English. It is not standard to leave this type of thing, pool cleaning hoses or garbage around the pool. Yes, I said I wanted the same type of valve put in that was there. I do not like those plastic POS valves. I never agreed to an e-bill, I said you could send me one but I expected a mailed paper bill for my files every time. You are correct, you didn't do a job correctly I have a meeting with an attorney on another matter tomorrow and going to ask their advice. Her initial advice was to fire you and file suit over you not cleaning the tile when asked to when you drained the pool and it didn't need it unless you were going to clean that tile. You bet your last penny that I want you to never be here again, and within minutes of you showing up on either my cameras me seeing you, your helper or anyone associated with your company there will be law enforcement here after your threats. Lastly, you say you have been in business since 2004, why can't I find a business license? Are you working without a license? If so you need to refund me every penny that I have paid you. read more

Called for a seasonal startup. After a short discussion with George it was decided to do a water change. Pool was drained and refilled. George added in chemicals and some shock. Water has gone from cloudy back to clear blue. read more

Revised- price increase was over a year, however George has now texted me 5 times in the last 5 minutes calling me a liar. Kind of scary. Disappointed to have to change my review but our service steadily declined after we didn't use them to replace our pool pump. George insisted that no fix was possible and it had to be replaced at over $2000. We had another company repair the pump for $350 and it has worked fine. We wanted to replace our filters-George wanted over $500, another company did it for $325. In the meantime, debris that we could not reach was left in our pool, and algae patches started to form. In spite of of my specific requests, these items were not addressed. George said that the algae was due to our filters being old...even though they were actually brand new. Finally, they have raised their prices twice in the last year resulting in a 25% increase. read more

After receiving a bill with an excessive use charge, I turned off my auto filler on the pool. The I noticed it was not staying full. I called Excellent Pool Services and got a recording to leave a message, which I did on Friday morning. I did not hear from them at all on Friday and called again on Saturday morning asking them to let me know if they could look at the pool or if I needed to call someone else. I still have not heard from them. Apparently they do not need any business nor do they know how to treat (potential) customers. After getting a water bill from LVVWD that was 10 times my normal amount, I figured out that my pool had a huge leak, but I was unable to figure out where. I spent several hours looking at reviews on Google on who to call and I decided to call Jorge. Not only was he very responsive, but he got out to my house amazingly fast and was able to find a leak in my return line under the concrete. He quoted me a price which I found very reasonable and got to work right away. The way he did the repair was truly amazing. Rather then jack hammer a lot of the slab he made a square cut into it and was able to install a new piece of the return line and fix the leak. He then filled the square hole with concrete with the same texture as the rest of it, dried and then painted it and matched exactly. You could never tell there was any work done. His craftmanship and attention to detail really impressed me, besides the reasonable price and always keeping in contact with me as the repair progressed. Being a small business owner myself in Las Vegas I know how important it is to do outstanding work and Jorge was outstanding. I also had him replace some of the valves as they were old and worn out. The wife, dog and I moved into a new place and though we were given some information about the pool, it was sadly inaccurate and left us without a functioning pool. One email to Excellent Pool Services on a Thursday morning led to a quick phone call and within a couple hours the most excellent pool service that exists was fixing our many pool problems and by Thursday night all of our pre-existing pool problems were in the past. Our old pool heater needed repair but instead of repair, we requested a new heater ("antique" pool heaters aren't a thing yet, right?) and by Thursday night Excellent Pool Services had sourced and installed a new pool heater. They found a bad electrical switch (GFI) and made corrections. Our beyond-broken pool light also was replaced during heater replacement but before the heater was operational.. I imagine that George lost a coin-flip or lost rock-paper-scissors as he jumped into the pool to put the light in - brrr. When they had left they even had notated additional flow questions I had, answered all my other pool questions, and never once made me feel bad for not knowing everything about my own pool. Because of the Excellent Pool Services, my wife, dog and I are now enjoying our pool which is heated perfectly and more importantly, safe. We just bought a house in Henderson which had a pool ( fantastic) but it hadn't been taken care of for a very long time hence it was green ( not fantastic). We hired these guys to drain, bead blast, acid wash the pool. They then refilled the pool and turned it on. When we figured out that something was wrong they came over immediately and fixed the leaking pipes. Tested the equipment and now we have them coming over every week to keep it good. I called this company to help with cleaning service for our pool. We are new home owners and have never owned a pool before. Our pool was starting to turn green so we reached out to Excellent Pool for services. They were quick to respond and sent someone out. However, he quoted me $350 to put chemicals and get pool back to normal and then said $160 to clean after. We declined and just took our water sample to the pool store and they advised us what our pool needed. Under $100 of chemicals and watching a few videos the pool is beautiful and normal. Being new with water features with pool equipment to run the waterfall it is very hard for me to really know what I need va what I could have. George walked me through all the equipment I have, what was causing the problem and gave me a price. Within 10-15 min my pond started to clear up, the water filter got cleaned and he walked me through why I should purchase a new one and sent me to a store, he did not tell me you need to buy the filter and this is the price. He honestly describe to me what are the pros and cos of keeping the filter I had, then I made a decision. The pump timer was also not working, Shame on my house inspector! George and Daniel took care of the issue even thought they had to come back (I had already paid in full, and I had nto choice but to hope he will keep his word that he would be back and he did!!- after I texted him and said it didn't shut off he said no problem I will be there tomorrow) because it want just the dial mechanism, it ended up also being some electrical issues which they fixed. I had the new filter I bought next to the pump, I was waiting for all the green stuff to clear up before changing it and to my surprise when I came home he has already took care of it. Not a good company Paid over $4000 last month to fix the pool in the filters and it turned green. We called them up, and they wanted to charge us to come out and fix it again. We are Las Vegas locals. We realize that we need pool service but the owner could have come explained what happened and what the remedy to fix it is instead and had a new money customer. The work they did was good but they need to make sure the customer fully understands what's needed. It would have been so easy for them to come out, make the pool clear and work out the monthly cleaning program weather from them or someone else so their hard work was not wasted.
