This business really lives up to its name. The first time I needed service was when our filter stopped working. This was the only company that didn't want to book me over 2 weeks out. In fact, they got me in next day. The service fee for coming out was included as part of the repair, which I was very happy about. That meant I didn't need to pay for the service fee on top of the repair. Service was fast, professional and the job was done well. Definitely a great value! We found Excellent Pool Service via YELP Las Vegas.   We recently had to remove the Solar Pool Heating Panels from our roof after they caused several leaks.   All the panels and piping on the roofs were removed down to ground level and the ground-level PVC pipes were capped off and left.   We also had 4 smaller Electrical Boxes for both an automatic pool filler system and the other 3 no longer worked. Still, the electrical wiring was run from the main panel breaker box to each empty box via conduit and then more wire joined and ran out of that box via conduit to the next box until it reached the 4th and final box (our Automatic Pool Filler which still is working).    The PVC Plumbing of our pool equipment and the (now gone) rooftop solar heating system looked like a Rube Goldberg invention it was such a contorted mix of pipes running at all angles.    George agreed to come to our house for a reasonable fee that would be rolled into the cost of any work we had them do.   George and Daniel came the next morning and together we went over what we wanted to have removed, re-plumbed, and any additional wiring needed.   They gave us a proposal in writing on a fair cost, considering the amount of labor that would be involved and we agreed to that.   They commenced work and quickly had the necessary re-plumbing cut out and redone leaving a very clean rerouting of the pool pipes.   It now allows me to move far more easily and safely (I had taken a bad fall which made us decide to fix this dangerous problem).   I'm 83 and no longer as agile as when I was younger!    Daniel worked in a very orderly manner in obvious incremental steps until he had removed all the wiring in conduits and the junction boxes (3 of them) from the wall.   We then decided to go ahead and replace the existing limited breaker box with a new one with many more capabilities for both now and in the future if needed.     They returned the next day with the needed parts and installed the new breaker box, replacing the old one.   When they finished, the job had a very professional and neat appearance.   Our pool controls are much easier to understand than before Excellent Pool Service's work.    George and Daniel together are very professional, personable, and congenial in their interaction with us. They took the time to answer our questions fully throughout the entire project.   Their bill was more than fair and fair for both the amount and quality of their work.   My wife and I were both extremely pleased throughout the entire job particularly with the end product.   It was exactly what we had wanted it to be when finished, only better and more professional than we had hoped for!    Excellent Pool Service is now our go-to company for all our pool service or work needs. So I had them come out to fix my intelliflow pump and replumb my salt cell about nine months ago, and they did a great job and their prices were very competitive too. Earlier this month I asked them to start weekly cleaning, and periodic filter cleaning. I couldn't be more disappointed. After they came this morning to clean the filter, I went outside to see that the filter was leaking water, they cleaned some of the filters on the grass and flower beds, and left pool sediment there and along the side yard. I assumed that they would have acid washed the salt cell while they had the filter torn down, but that didn't happen. On top of all of that, one of the guys snapped off a sprinkler in the backyard. So after they came this morning, everything was worse than before they got here. Saturday is my "Monday" and the last thing I expected to do this afternoon was to work on my pool and replace a sprinkler before I have to go into work. It was the typical situation, our pump died on a 100+ degree summer day so the pool instantly turned green. Last time we had to drain and acid wash the pool it was $500 plus the cost of water. We were in a rush to avoid doing that again. I called Excellent Pool Services late on a weekday morning and Daniel was at my house around 4:00 that same day. He quickly determined that we needed a new pump which made sense based on the age of the old pump. My husband requested a quote which was emailed to us the next morning. That evening Daniel installed the new pump. We ended up being able to shock the pool for $130 in chemicals instead of the costly drain and refill. Excellent Pool Services definitely exceeded expectations on their response time. I can't speak to their prices because we were looking to replace our pump quickly so we didn't get additional quotes. Our pump with installation was $2,500. The most expensive pump we could find online was $1,400, but we saved all of the hassle and cost of draining the pool. Jorge sent someone out who put a chemical in my pool that made it look milky. I asked what chemical he added and I was told he couldn't tell me that. I asked what my chemical readings were. Again I got I can't tell you that. To me that means they didn't check the chemistry and have no idea what they put in my pool. Then, to top it off tried to tell me that my filter was too small for my pool - gee, it has worked fine since we moved here years ago. He wanted to try to sell me an &1800.00 filter for my 8000 gallon pool. I have an old filter but it's a Hayward and for my pool I have the recommended filter. He figured I was female and saw dollar signs. The guy that he sent out didnt speak English well. As a matter of fact, Jorge doesn't speak English well. It's difficult to do business with dishonest people who are just out to rip you off. I'm trying to find his license info and report him. He wanted to charge me $170.00 a month to lie to me. Stay away from at all costs! He will quote you a price to do a job, will not complete correctly and try to charge to do the same thing again. After he does a job, he leaves his garbage all over the yard and refuses to clean up after himself. Also, was asked to replace metal valve with another metal valve. Instead of metal, he used the cheapest plastic valve available and left trash again. Would not pick up equipment after using it and leave it for us to pick up. Asked for paper invoice, which he is refusing to do. He threatened damage to my pool and my property if I didn't pay him immediately. He also refuses to pay my invoice from another company to clean up his mistakes and garbage. After he was told this, he called continuously until I finally had to block all calls and texts. Lastly, if you look at his Yelp reviews, he has clearly bought his 5 star status and if you read the few 1 star reviews that are available, you will see that he threatened them as well with physical violence. The 2 attached photos are just a minor part of the garbage left in my yard. He was given over 60 days to clean up the filters and other garbage left in the yard. The valve he charged me $120 for, was working before he even replaced it. He clearly damaged something on initial visit and charged me for it rather than taking responsibility. We have now had to involve local law enforcement to assure our safety. I am editing this review due to the response from Jorge C. Nothing above has been changed other than a period after safety. I don't care how many times you apologized, your helper was asked three times to remove everything and acted like he didn't understand English. It is not standard to leave this type of thing, pool cleaning hoses or garbage around the pool. Yes, I said I wanted the same type of valve put in that was there. I do not like those plastic POS valves. I never agreed to an e-bill, I said you could send me one but I expected a mailed paper bill for my files every time. You are correct, you didn't do a job correctly I have a meeting with an attorney on another matter tomorrow and going to ask their advice. Her initial advice was to fire you and file suit over you not cleaning the tile when asked to when you drained the pool and it didn't need it unless you were going to clean that tile. You bet your last penny that I want you to never be here again, and within minutes of you showing up on either my cameras me seeing you, your helper or anyone associated with your company there will be law enforcement here after your threats. Lastly, you say you have been in business since 2004, why can't I find a business license? Are you working without a license? If so you need to refund me every penny that I have paid you. read more
