I purchased a Groupon good for 1000 square feet of tile and grout cleaning from Excel Floor Care. The process of making the appointment was very easy because you can schedule it online and as an added bonus they work on Saturdays! Matt called me the night before to remind me of my appointment and 30 minutes before he arrived just like it stated on the website. He arrived and I showed him some of the areas of my main concern. He got right to work. He helped to move furniture so that the entire floor area could be thoroughly cleaned. He had the job finished in just under a couple hours. He suggested a different kind of cleaner than what he normally uses and cleaned a small area so I could see the difference it made. He quoted me the additional price and I told him that was fine and to proceed. Now, my floors look great and my feet don't look all dirty from walking around barefoot. What a wonderful job, Matt!! I thought my floor tile looked OK. I have a machine that I use, and keep my tile floor clean. Or, so I thought. I made an appointment with Matt, he was prompt, called first to say he was on his way. As soon as he started on my kitchen floor, WOW, what a difference. The dirt on the remaining tiles looked like they had never been done. Matt cleaned my entire tiled area bedroom, kitchen, dining room, family room, bathrooms and hall, and the floors looked like they did when I first had them installed. The grout lightened up to its original color, I just sit and stare at my floors. Awesome! I also had Matt clean the computer room carpeting. He did a great job, spots are gone. Matt did a excellent job cleaning our tile that hasn't been deep cleaned in three years. He made our grout look brand new. He made sure to check that all the dirt was out of the grout and any dark spots were just water still drying. It was fast and extremely thorough. We had to pay extra for a deeper clean because the grout was so bad but it was totally worth the extra cost. The only thing I would say is that the scheduling made it seem I had an appointment at 9 am but really it was a three hour window, which is totally normal for these type of services but when I scheduled the appointment it didn't seem as there would be a window of arrival. I had previously requested a quote from other Yelp businesses for our tile home to be cleaned. Those quotes were outrageous and I resigned myself to not getting the cleaning done. Then this company had an ad on Facebook and I figured I would take a shot as they were offering a sample area to be cleaned, free sealing, and a free quote. Matt was very responsive, friendly, and not overwhelming with his sales push. Price was reasonable, he accepted all forms of payment, and the job that was done was truly amazing. Matt, did an excellent job in cleaning my carpet. Stains I thought would not come out, came out easily. Also, I had issues with my linoleum tile in one of my bathrooms. Matt was able to fix that as well. Actually, he went far and beyond customer services. He came back later that same day to check on the status of my bathroom floor and to make sure I was completely satisfied with the carpet cleaning. His price was very reasonable. He is very efficient. I used a Groupon and purchased a deal for my tile and grout to be cleaned. Matt answered promptly every time I called. He was professional and did a great job! Our floors were filthy so the cost was a bit more than the Groupon but very reasonable based on how great the floors look. Some of the grout chipped out with his machine and he came back on his day off to fill back in. He even went over the house one more time as a few areas still looked a little dirty. I had my house repainted and replaced the baseboards. The caulk the painter used to seal the baseboards wasn't even a close match to the grout. Feeling frustrated, I went to a tile store in an attempt to match grout and ran in to Matt.He steam cleaned and sealed my tile, fixed the cracked grout, and caulked the baseboards with a much better color match. He is professional, on time, always let me know when he was on his way, and his price was reasonable. I am new to the area and highly recommend Matt. read more
