The corn whiskey was smooth and liqeur was subtle in sweetness (which is preferable). The owner was very nice and knew anything you wanted to know about their product. However, I highly recommend doing them separate! If you do the spirit tasting at the cottage, you're able to choose 3 spirits and 2 cocktails to taste. Not to mention the cottage is a cozy speakesy-esque vibe. If you do the spirit tasting in the winery, you're only able to taste 5 spirits rather than the cocktail option.

In addition to the absinthe, which I absolutely had to get, I also ordered a gin flight. My server, John, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The patrons there were all friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and they had plenty of swag. I bought a tiny bottle of absinthe and a sweatshirt, so I would have fond memories of that fine establishment every time I wore it.
