Great shop! They may be known for their work on Porsche, but they most certainly know what they're doing with Volkswagen. I brought my '08 Jetta in here for a flash recently, and "impressed" doesn't even begin to cover it! First off, the showroom has a Ferrari and 3 Porsches just lounging around. Then there's the garage loaded with high end Audis, Porsches, a VW or two and even an odd Corvette. Then there's the reason I went in there: the flash. Not only does it cost just a fraction of the competing products costs', it's also a flat out better product! Everything about it is superior, hands down. Plus, they were able to flash my car with a custom tuned file that they had used on a similarly modified shop car. Bonus! Referred by a friend and it couldn't have been a better experience. Just brought in my standard '06 VW Jetta for some new fans and was quoted very competitive pricing, better than I found anywhere else actually. Probably the best experience I have had in regards to a body shop, auto repair, etc. Robert helped me first over the phone, taking the time to listen to my issues and providing suggestions on how to help. We set up an appointment and he even told me who to expect to see when I showed up in the morning. That would have been Matt. Matt was very friendly, asked me questions, took the time to come look at my car and even walked me into the lobby to sit and wait for my ride. They finished the work before end of day. Not only was everyone helpful, friendly and just overall nice - but I felt like they actually cared about my experience and how they could continue to help me in the future. Evoms put a high performance clutch ($1,650) on my car. The clutch did not even last a full year after only about 6,000 miles of driving post installation. Apparently, the clutch failed because it did not work with the car (something that should have been anticipated) or because of my driving habits (aggressive to be sure, but a new clutch failure after only about 6,000 miles of driving?). A replacement clutch was offered at $1,265. I refused. I had antipitated that Evoms would take care of it. That turned out to be naive presumption. Given a yearly gross profit of $1,000 for one year each of a four-year service horizon, Evoms would have generated about $2,900 with a 10% discount rate regarding my service accout (a conservative estimate). One general lesson to be learned is that it's not a good idea for a business to lose a repeat customer. The other is that customers always need to ask and get responses in writing, no matter how much trust a customer places in a business. Evoms gets one star, but just a week ago it would have received 5 stars. read more

After a mishap with their communication, a sales rep named Sam got in touch with me and answered my questions about the product I was interested in. I ended up ordering their RS370 kit. Sam at EVOMS was very friendly and professional. The parts arrived on time although half the shipment came to my house when I asked for it to be shipped to my installer (the other half got to the installer). Luckily the exhaust and headers just fit in the car, so I was able to take it to the installer when I dropped the car off. I also ordered stainless steel exhaust tips with the setup but received black chrome ones instead. I can forgive this because the black chrome is beautiful, and after seeing it I decided to give them a go. All the parts were well packaged and arrived in great shape. I'll know by the end of the month how the kit transforms the car. I'll be doing a base dyno run with my installer and then do another when the kit is installed. read more

I ordered an intake for my GTI and realized it wouldn't work for my application (very strict smog regulations in my state) and emailed requesting a return. They took care of me right away no hassles no complaints. I appreciate the customer service and will certainly look to them again for other parts. read more

For a beautiful facility such as this, and a company that has built some of the fasted exotic cars in the world, a person would expect to receive nothing but top notch work from an honest team. My experience with evolution motorsports was not pleasant. I brought my car in to resolve a rattle noise, it turned out I needed a timing belt job. I was assured by the service manager on several occasions that he in fact never used "aftermarket crap" parts and recommended only authentic OEM vw/audi parts for something as important as engine timing. They went ahead and installed the parts, and was assured once again that no aftermarket parts were used and ONLY OEM VW/AUDI parts were used. Something didn't feel right after he told me the job took 6 hours. which was impossible because he said he waved the time it took to diagnose the rattle(the car sat for a few days at the shop) he called me Wednesday afternoon and said it was the timing belt and asked if he should order the parts, I said no I'll call you in the A.M and give you the go ahead if decide to do it if that's fine with you guys, he said it was not a problem. I call Thursday after 11:00 a.m and he asks again if he should order the parts and I said sure lets just get that done. He told me they could even finish that day if the parts came off the truck in time. I call at 4:00 pm to see if they got the parts and he says yeah car's done. 11:00- 4:00 is only 5 hours and that is if he had the parts in his lap, but they were not even ordered yet! I told him my concern about his 6 hour story and he give me some BS about how they "started tearing the car apart yesterday" so Wednesday + Thursday was 6 hours total. why would they have been "tearing my car apart" before I even told them to do the timing belt job? they wouldn't, no shop would do work hoping the owner wants the parts that have not been ordered yet. things were just not adding up and the fact that my $950.00 bill wasn't there usual $25,000+ tune job I wondered if they just threw generic parts on my car and called it a day. after puling the timing belt cover when I got home I found that in fact they had used ZERO OEM VW/AUDI PARTS AT ALL! Everything was generic aftermarket crap! Correct me if wrong but OEM means ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER meaning VW/AUDI and anything but VW/AUDI stamped parts are in fact "AFTERMARKET CRAP." there is a reason I wanted original OEM VW/AUDI parts, they are simply better quality, and second, that's what I WAS TOLD I WAS PAYING FOR!! I went right back into the shop and told the service manager what I had found, after a "UMMMM, WWHAT PARTS EXACTLY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, OH YOU MEAN THE BELT ISN'T OEM" I said UM, NO, NONE OF THE PARTS ARE AT ALL OEM! He tells me that the parts are all OEM quality and almost identical VW/AUDI OEM. What a Bunch of BS, the point is I was not told "as good as oem" I was TOLD AUTHENTIC OEM VW/AUDI PARTS 4+ TIMES! There is a difference. The number one rule to good business is making you clients want to come back. The point is he didn't have to tell me I don't use "aftermarket crap" I will use VW/AUDI OEM, but he did over and over again. even as he printed my invoice he say's "yeah like i said its all OEM stuff man." He never once apologized,or explained that he should have been more clear, nope, he strait up lied on more than one occasion and walked his way out of it without admitting any fault and tried to make it seem as if I misunderstood. After all its not like I bought a candy bar, I spent nearly $1,000 on one repair. It's not that I think my car will now snap this cheap belt and destroy my engine (although it could) it's the fact that I was without a doubt LIED to about the hours it took and the parts used! he obviously assumed I had no mechanical experience at all and would never no the difference. In my personal opinion this company does not take its clients seriously unless you are to dump thousands of dollars on mods and custom work. I thought I would try evolution motorsorts out with a quick repair before I spent thousand more with them. My opinion until I'm proven wrong is unless you have a 911 GT2 RS and want to join the 1000HP club, you are not a valued customer and have no business getting service done here. read more
