I recently had my Mercedes-Benz serviced here, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was completed professionally, and my vehicle was returned in excellent condition. A special thank you to Nick for providing exceptional customer service throughout the process. He was knowledgeable, communicative, and made everything seamless. I was especially grateful that the manager approved and covered my Uber ride home while my vehicle was being serviced since I live a considerable distance away. That level of customer care was truly appreciated and went above and beyond my expectations. read more

We use this place to service the chassis of our RV, which is a Mercedes sprinter van. We were due for service B and the price was $585- seem to be in line with what others with our particular RV pay They have an online scheduler, so it was super easy to book, we appreciate that I will say the pricing for some other service services seem quite high, it was suggested that we will need to replace our battery soon and the quote given with $700 although we've had it done in other places for around $300 (for same model RV earlier year)- even the Mercedes dealer was charging around $300 so that just seemed really excessive, so we did not have that done this time They did have it completed in the time alluded and communication was excellent read more

W210 facelift had a broken serpentine belt, I had the Benz Shop do an inspection, and they told me I needed to replace the entire cooling system and drop the differential. I agreed to do so. It was very expensive. It would have been worth it, if they had not stripped my car of parts while they were doing it, then claiming the parts they removed from the car and didn't put back, didn't come with the car. I was told there was major issues with the car, requiring the replacing of the belt, and the entire cooling system, and dropping the differential. It was not cheap. North of 6k. The coil wires were touching the serpentine belt. They were not .like that when the belt broke. The oil dipstick had been broken. There was various parts on the engine unscrewed and replaced with zip ties. This car had been dealer-serviced before being taken to the shop and there was not a single splash cover or heat shield missing from the bottom on the car when I took it in. When I picked up the car, the cover over the differential was missing and all of the heat shields over the exhaust were missing. One of the splash shields over the engine by the wheel well was also missing. I called the shop and they reinstalled the coil wires away from the serpentine belt, replaced the dipstick. When, I, however, asked them about the missing splash covers on the bottom of the car, they told me that those parts do not come with the car, and they had checked and the car didn't come with them. In fact, they had one or two W210s and after checking, they didn't those shields. I was also told they didn't feel like replacing the splash cover in the front due to the age of the car. I paid 8k in repairs. Splash covers I complained to them about, that I said are now missing from the car, they said are no longer available, can be found with simple google search, and are not just available from Mercedes. My E430 came with splash covers over the exhaust that I knew were there, but which went missing after they fixed my car. This shop might have done an exceptional job for some , even a lot of people, but for me, it was a disaster. If I am paying huge amounts of money for a job, the least you can do is act professionally and not fail to put back parts that you take out of the car that you are working on. read more

They make it all too easy! Friendly from the start, communication skills (mastery level). No pressure tactics but also not afraid to tell you what you should know about your vehicle, even when they know it could be an unwelcome surprise. They will do any and all work from here on out! read more

Great service, made an appointment came in an hour early. They were able to get me in right away.

I brought in my 2013 SLK for service. This was my first time at the Benz Shop and definitely won't be the last. They took excellent care of my vehicle, were professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail and did all the work they said they would. Excellent quality of service, kept me informed of the status, and so easy to work with. I highly recommend taking your MB to the Benz Shop. Valerie L read more

I was looking for an independent shop to service my dad's Benz now that it's out of warranty. I called this place and spoke to Nick, who set me up with an appointment the next morning along with clear upfront pricing for the Service B maintenance I requested. The place is clean and the setting is very professional. Nick got me checked in right away, answered all my questions, didn't try to upsell me on anything, and arranged a ride home for me. So far so good. I also had a request that I wasn't sure could be accommodated. I have an older Audi that has been having issues with the A/C. Heading into summer temps, I wanted to get this checked out. I asked if, by chance, I could drive my Audi to pick up my dad's car, and then leave my car there to have the A/C system checked. No problem, Nick said. I was actually pretty shocked, because it's not like they were slow at the time. So before I even walked out the door after dropping my dad's car off, I was already sold on this place. Not only because of how accommodating they were, but just the overall vibe. It almost feels like a family room in there the way they all engage each other. Everyone is friendly, they all seem happy like it doesn't suck to work there, and I felt comfortable asking questions. That's huge when it comes to mechanic shops. Cars are intimidating, and you don't want to feel like someone is taking advantage of you if you aren't super knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions about both cars, and Nick just patiently answered all of them and put notes on the service orders for a couple things to be checked by the techs that weren't necessarily related to the repairs. It was just a different experience than I'm used to at an indy shop, and it was very refreshing. When it comes to the actual service, you really can't beat this place. You'll get a text with photos and explanations of everything once the tech gets started, just like at a Benz dealership. They're clear and up front, the pricing is reasonable and competitive, and they don't recommend unnecessary items. A lot of places will tell you the cabin air filter or engine air filter is dirty, even if you had just replaced it and it's clear they didn't actually look at it. Like an automatic add-on suggestion, dealerships do it too. This place doesn't. All in all, I was extremely impressed with The Benz Shop. The customer service and personal attention was unlike anything I've ever experienced at an independent shop. Nick Anderson is the man! This is definitely where I will bring my car going forward. read more

My passenger side windshield wiper stopped working so I made an appointment with Liz at the Benz Shop. She ruled out some common causes over the phone and had a technician, Tyler, waiting when I arrived. He figured out the problem (loose spindle nuts) in less than two minutes and fixed the problem at no charge. Pretty amazing shop. I highly recommend! read more

The shop was clean and the staff seemed friendly--until I questioned the work they did. I brought in my 2003 E320 after it stalled, and ended up being charged $1,700 for a fuel pump installation. When I picked up the car, the fuel gauge immediately showed incorrect readings. I kept driving, and even though the gauge showed a quarter tank, I ran out of gas on the freeway. I brought the car back, and at first it seemed like they were willing to make it right. After several rounds of back-and-forth, they suddenly claimed the issue was "unrelated." Now I'm not even sure if they actually replaced both fuel pumps or if I was charged for work that wasn't done. The worst part? My car now smells strongly of gasoline inside. It's honestly concerning, and I'm just hoping I don't break down again. Really disappointing experience, and I don't feel like they stand behind their work. read more

Hi, I am the owner of an Audi Q7. When I arrived at your shop, my car had several issues. The first and most concerning problem was that I had to add a quarter of a quart of oil every two days, which really worried me. I found your shop online from a list of places near my location in Glendale, and I chose you to help me find the real problem--something that other shops had completely ignored. Liss was amazing, a wonderful person who truly understood my personal situation and the frustration I was feeling with my car. I also spoke with the technical support team. The technician explained very clearly what was happening with the car and even recommended that I watch YouTube videos to understand how difficult it is to disassemble the car and find an oil leak. Eventually, they found the problem. I decided to make several improvements to my car because I love it and it has low mileage. I left Phoenix on Christmas Eve and returned yesterday after traveling extensively with this car--to Sedona, Flagstaff, Camp Verde, and Cottonwood--driving in winter weather conditions. The car performed perfectly the entire trip. When I got the car back, wow! I was able to drive at 90 miles per hour with no warning lights. The engine power, brakes, and motor performance were excellent. Everything works perfectly. I believe in God and positive energy, and I truly believe He led me to this shop--Kale, Liss, the technical support team, and the mechanic. They treated me very well and never gave up. I understand that maintaining this car can be expensive, but after my trip, everything is running perfectly. I trust these guys completely. Happy New Year 2026, and thank you to Liss and all the employees who worked on my car. read more

I recently brought my Mercedes-Benz CLS 500 to The Benz Shop for a Service C, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about Mercedes vehicles. What impressed me most was their discounted price -- from $151 down to just $71, which is less than half the regular service cost. It's rare to find a shop that offers both exceptional service quality and honest pricing like this. My car runs smoother than ever, and they even took the time to explain what was done and what to expect for my next service. I highly recommend The Benz Shop to any Mercedes owner looking for expert care without the dealership prices! read more

2012 Mercedes Sprinter I brought my van into this for an oil leak, and they quoted me with the following: Diesel engine oil cooler, intake & motor assembly $7760.95 Engine oil filter, housing replacement. Bumper-to-bumper degreasing. $1721.99 Charge air pipes replacement $1179.52 Engine drive belt kit replacement, w/ fan belt $1429.84 Intake attenuator replacement $731.65 coming out to the grandtotal of $12,823.00 I decided to do a little research and saw that these numbers were ridiculous. Found out Roy's Auto on Cave Creek Road works on diesel vans. The only real actual problem was the oil filter housing leak $680.80 They changed my oil did a diesel engine, emission control, service, new power, steering hose, drive belts, $1405.23 Saving me $11,400 Avoid this place at all co$t and go to Roy's Auto read more

Since moving back to Arizona the almost 3 years of service my, bought new 2014 Mercedes received from The Benz Shop has been just as good as the warranty service I received from the dealership. Honest mechanics with friendly and helpful staff. I brought my Sprinter in expecting to replace my pads after the Mercedes dealership warned "my brake pads were worn down to 4mm," and wanted $1700 to replace them. The Benz Shop pointed out to me that I had 8mm left on my pads (over half the life), and that I in fact did not need to be spending all of that money. They gave me this inspection at no charge. I just had a new suspension upgrade and the software tune up on my 2016 Sprinter van. I have 83,000 miles and the suspension makes it drive like a new van or even better. In the wind it no longer sways back and forth and going around corners it's much more stable. the software tune up is INCREDIBLE, there is no longer ANY lag when you put your foot on the gas pedal. My gas mileage is about 10% better so it will actually pay for itself over time. it no longer takes forever to get up to speed on the highway and left turns in traffic are a breeze. read more
