    Damaged fork tube

This place used to be great when the original owner was around. I came back here a couple years ago to get my Multistrada forks rebuilt because they were leaking, and the forks ended up leaking again only a couple months later. I went to the dealership to get it looked at, and they said Evolution didn't change the bushings, and photographed damage to the coating on the fork tubes where they go inside the legs. Now the forks start leaking every couple thousand miles. I can't prove this damage happened because of Evolution, but the dealer realized he should take a picture of the fork tube, and Evolution's mechanics or technicians apparently didn't. Either way, it's not worth bringing a bike here again.

I own an ex SFPD 1992 Kawasaki KZ1000P (Police) which needed a top-end rebuild. As with any motorcycle of this age, getting the right parts was tricky but I was able to source them mainly from eBay. The rebuild itself was not without challenges but Frank and his team kept me informed all the way. It did take longer than expected but I am very thankful for the result! It is hard to find a place that is even willing to take on a job like that nowadays! So a big shoutout to Frank and his team to get the job done perfectly. A 5-star review that is well deserved, Frank! I'll be coming back!

My Wuflu purchase/project was a 1990 Yamaha FZR 400. I got the FZR from a private owner who had the bike in storage for years. I worked on it during summer and fall to get it up to running condition. However, there were some engine gremlins that still needed to get worked out. By this time last week, I had enough DIY and just wanted to ride, so I called Evolution to schedule the repairs. The issues were lag on throttle blip and fuel in the air filter. I dropped off my bike at Evolution with Frank, and he patiently took his time to explain the process for repair. They would diagnose, inform what repairs were needed, and order parts. He let me know there was a queue ahead of my bike and that some ordered parts may take time to come in, especially for specialty or classic bikes. Their diagnosis found gummed up carbs, old plugs, and they found some deteriorating hoses. Evolution rebuilt the carb, synced the carbs, changed out the plugs, and quickly fixed everything. The throttle is responsive again, and the bike is so much fun to ride. Also, the bill was very fair for the amount of work done. Evolution saved me so much time. Thank you Frank and team for getting me back on the road, just in time for Christmas too! Wishing you guys a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I came in prepared to make multiple purchases and, frankly, left confused by the entire experience. My time is limited. I run a business and manage private investments, so when I shop for vehicles, I generally know what I want, have a budget established, and am prepared to buy. I was looking for three machines: 1. A Can-Am Canyon Redrock -- budgeted around $36,000. 2. Either a 125th Anniversary Indian Chief or a black Chief Bobber -- around $24,000. 3. A Challenger Dark Horse with the PowerPlus 112, preferably blue, that I can eventually set up with a sidecar for my service dog -- around $35,000. I had made sure I had approximately $100,000 available so that if the right machines and numbers were there, I could simply pay cash and get it done. I arrived shortly before closing, and the salesperson was friendly, but surprisingly unfamiliar with the Can-Am Canyon. I actually had to point the Canyon out on a poster because he initially didn't think they carried it. When I asked about the Redrock trim, there was additional confusion because he thought I was asking for something other than a Canyon. I was looking for a Canyon Redrock. They didn't have the motorcycles I wanted, which isn't anyone's fault. We did, however, work numbers on the Canyon. They came back at roughly $38,000. I countered at $35,500. Instead of countering or trying to find a number that worked, I was essentially told to "come back when you're ready to buy." That was the part I couldn't understand. I was ready to buy. In fact, I kept trying to close the deal. It was one of the strangest sales experiences I've had because I felt like I was the salesperson trying to overcome the dealership's objections. I didn't expect them to accept every number I offered. Negotiating is part of buying a vehicle. I expected a counteroffer, a conversation with a manager, or some effort to find common ground -- particularly when I was potentially looking at purchasing three machines. Instead, I left. The salesperson was nice, and I don't have anything personally negative to say about him. But being willing and financially prepared to spend close to $100,000 and leaving because I couldn't get the dealership to actually sell me something was a very strange experience. At this point, I'll most likely bought the Canyon from another dealer over the phone when I was still in their parking lot and will probably get the Indians through another dealer.
