Worst service and the one at the store didn't even bother to assist or help us. So dissappointed at this place.

After our first appointment which I thought was a decent interaction, my bike started experiencing electrical issues which I believe was caused by either him or his assistant technician. After trying to schedule another appointment to diagnose the electrical issue and have some saddles installed, he gave me an appointment date multiple times for the 22nd, 30th, and then the again on the 6th of the following month which I confirmed for all 3 times! but was never put in his schedule nor honored. I was put off 3 times and had this appointment rescheduled on multiple occasions just to never even have it. As he blamed me for not clarifying whether he needed a specific part or not which was already discussed and not really even relevant for the other work needing to be done on the bike or for the already confirmed appointment times. His MANIPULATIVE & SELECTIVE MANAGEMENT STYLE, or just poor scheduling and communication skills will unfortunately never have me return to receive his services. Also, the oem part he claimed I needed and used as his excuse to not schedule me for, was up charged because he thought I was unaware of motorcycle repair or parts pricing. So again, don't waste your time or money dealing with this unaccountable D bag. Go to an actual shop. Pay for more Professionalism.

I came in this morning and was greeted by two of the kindest gentleman I have ever met. They were both incredibly patient, thoughtful and empathetic while we discussed the damage and what my options would be. I came back at the end of the day to some very good news and the even better unexpected news that they would go over my estimate with me to see where I could save on sourcing parts for the repair! Given that the last two shops I went to straight up lied and fudged the hell out of the estimate(to the point where I almost lost my bike because they claimed so much that State Farm wanted to total loss it) I was obviously nervous about going to a new shop to potentially have the same thing happen. I'm so happy to say I've found a new shop for life and that I've finally found people I can trust with my most precious belonging. Thank you guys so much for everything, you guys are the absolute best

After installing it myself, the bike began to run lean. Eventually I realized I needed help from a professional mechanic in solving the problem. They told me they could figure it out for me. A few days later they claimed they were having a hard time getting the issue solved and then began further diagnosing the issue. More time passes and they simply can't solve the problem. During the entire process I am in touch with Dynojet via email and phone call and they keep telling me that Pinnacle likely has never dealt with a Dynojet Kit before based on the hard time they were having getting the kit to work with the bike. A week and a half later, Pinnacle calls me and tells me they converted the Carb back to stock jetting and now the bike is no longer running lean. I could have EASILY done that myself, the point was for them to figure out why the Dynojet Kit wasn't working. To add insult to injury, the team at Dynojet told me had Pinnacle simply called the tech support line, they would have gladly worked with them on troubleshooting and finding a solution. When I confronted the owner on this, he told me "We don't operate that way, you can work with Dynojet on your own, the bike is no longer running lean." They rid themselves of responsibility and only look for an easy way out. Not cool! This place obviously isn't up to the task when it comes to a little more comprehensive repairs and troubleshooting. HIGHLY disappointed!

The pro is they're one of the few dealers that sells new Yamahas around San Jose and they're open Sundays. That being said, I do not like their customer service at times. When I'm interested in a bike, they pull it out and let me see it. But there was a time I went with a bike I purchased at the dealership I always go. The employee at GP sports asked me where I got it and when I told them where, he laughed and said something like "they're not a real dealer, we're the real ones" and spoke a bit more talking down on the dealership I got my bike at. It felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable because I felt very attacked since my choice and my motorcycle was talked down on. Don't get me wrong, they were probably joking but I always get some arrogant and cocky feel from a lot of their older employees. They feel very corporate. Another time, they showed no compassion and left it at "it's policy, we can't take in service bikes on Sunday" when my acquaintance crashed his bike right across the shop in the parking lot and wanted to leave it with them for a repair. Their service department was going to open Tuesday, and told us to tow the bike home and tow it back Tuesday. We decided to just take it home and repair ourselves. It is fair for them to have boundaries but the arrogant, "it's your fault" feel they had and con compassion made the experience very bad. I am coming from a very welcoming dealer that I believe would at least call the boss to see if they can take the bike in so I was very unpleasant. The younger employees and some other employees are very friendly and nice so it hurts to leave this review, but as a whole, it was never a great experience going there. It seems like I'm not the only one since I hear bad things about them, and you can read the other reviews for yourself :(
