I had Roger build my 03 RG several years ago. Shortly after, at no fault of RE Engineering, I had an issue with the crankshaft and later broke a valve spriNg. Roger stood behind his work and replaced the defective parts at no cost to me. The final build of the engine was extremely fast. I sold the bike to my brother back in 2010 and it's still running strong. People my brother rides with are extremely impressed on how fast the bike is. Prior to the engine build, I told Roger that I wanted high HP and torque as well as longevity, needless to say, Roger delivered. I moved further away, but I plan on braking in my 24 RG and later revisit RE and have some engine work done. Great place for engine building. read more

RE Engineering has rebuilt my motor a couple of times, sad to say. If your motor gets yanked and the cases split, well that's the opportunity to buy more horsepower! "Ride it like you stole it" That's what I do and I've felt every dollar worth spent at RE! Unfortunately I've being coming to see Roger & his crew over the years, sad because it's an expensive visit! He has done a lot of work to my bike, Headwork- oversized valves, drilled & polished out the fuel & exhaust ports. So high flow, seems like I need to stop to fill up too often. I've had compression releases added. It's something that needs to be done, or you'll be buying starters and batteries often. I've had work done to my cases, but that's another story...They cracked!! Typical early 90's HD cases... After that I went with a S&S cases and stroked it. From there, Roger did his magic! So far this motor has been bullet proof!! RE Engineering does everything in house. They have a Dyno, so you can get the maximum horse power from your bike. I recently came in to get my transmission looked at. I'm at second owner of the bike and the original owner beat the $hit outta item!! Roger is an old school and an easy going dude that has been around! I've see dudes from Frisco, to the East Bay, and Central Valley come down South to get their bikes built here. I have been dealing with Roger for many years. First he was a customer of mine when I was a sales rep for Performance Machine. I had always heard good things about him and we would talk on the phone from time to time. Years later I move up here to San Jose form So Cal and I finally needed some work done on my FXR. Unfortunately , I ended up needing more work than I originally thought, but it was no fault of Roger. He actually discovered some bad wearing inside my cylinders and on the pistons and so we ended up with a new top end. New pistons, rings and boring the cylinders out . I already had a pretty good set of heads, but he did a couple little tricks to them anyways. When I came to pick it up and started it for the first time. I could immediately tell a difference, just in the sound of the exhaust note. I had no idea , how much power I was losing before from the blow by before the new top end. The dyno numbers showed good results too! Over 90/90 out of an 80ci EVO. The seat of the pants dyno is all I really care about, and it felt good. So, it's been about 2 1/2 years now and my FXR is still running flawless!! I am very pleased with Roger and his work. Like the others have mentioned, he is real down to earth and easy going to talk too. I always recommended his services whenever I can. Rodger is very knowledgeable and experienced he's also slightly overpriced but overall I got what I wanted my 2017 Low Rider s went from 88 horsepower to 139 to the rear wheel on the dyno. It cost me an arm and a leg but I haven't lost a drag race yet! read more

Roger helped me with my Harley Dyna motor big time. First he did the machine work on my cylinders all was good until I got it home I MADE A MISTAKE, YES I DID! Roger made it all good for me. He could have rubbed it in and told me I was wrong and charge me again to redo the machine work but he did not, so thank you for that. Poor quality customer service beware of who you deal with when you bring a bike to someone

Roger helped me on a Buell rebuild. He sourced great parts at reasonable prices. He performed expert machining and gave me tips to help with the reassembly. The bike went to together flawlessly, every surface dead nuts within spec. I can't thank this guy and his shop enough for helping me through the project. This guy does not have the typical 'Harley Shop' attitude. Really great to work with. You won't feel stupid and he's not walking around with an angry look, just walk in, have a seat. read more
