Not sure I would call this Lebanese food. Food was tasteless. They don't even use levant ingredients. Don't waste your money.

Phenomenal. Unique flavor combos and one of the gyros in the city. Wish they were open later!

Really enjoyed the gyro grilled cheese and spicy tabbouleh here! Would definitely order again. Staff was also very friendly and nice.

Oh my gosh! We spent two hours trying to decide where to order birthday dinner from. We've been wanting to try Evette's. So glad we did! This food was AMAZING!! Perfect choice for a non-traditional birthday dinner! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my food. I got the gyro wrap and a steak and al pastor tacos. Everything was delicious. I don't like sweet pickles so I know not to have them on the gyro next time but the best gyro meat I've had in a long time. I also wonder if a sauce comes with the tacos. They were both flavorful. I'll be back for sure! read more

Great halloumi tacos but the music is alway too loud and the tables are dirty. Employees show up in their pajamas and thank that's okay. If they got their s*** together they could be great. read more

Got the chicken schwarma plate & steak melt and both were PHENOMENAL. Chicken shwarma plate was so flavorful- came with a hefty portion of chicken, sweet couscous, and a great side salad. The steak melt was like a cheesesteak in the form of a sandwich and absolutely mouth watering. Can't believe we just stumbled across this place now, will def be coming back!! read more

My teen daughters stopped at the LP location for lunch on a Saturday. They asked the woman at the counter if they had anything they my youngest could eat safely, she has food allergies to eggs and nuts. This woman was was amazing at helping and guiding her to foods that were safe. She knew that since brunch was going on, nothing on the grill would be safe from eggs. She recommended shawarma with no aioli sauce (she was familiar with all the ingredients). She took their order and went back in the kitchen and made it herself! She even personally brought the sandwiches out to their table!! It was so good, the girls came home and the highlight of their day was this lunch. Thank you, I really wished they had gotten her name... what a wonderful experience. read more

Extremely unique fusion with Mexican/Mediterranean/Midwestern, but those three M's are bringing 5 stars for me. The flavors all work and bring with them pleasant surprises. This is a new spot worth checking out! read more

The whole experience at Evette's on 11/19/2020 was really odd and quite disappointing. I stopped in when I was in a bit of a rush and was told that the fastest option was the chicken shawarma meal as the chicken could be quickly cut off the spit. The counter clerk seemed a bit disoriented while several other staff members milled around. That said, when the food finally came about ten minutes later (much longer than I anticipated), I was handed a transparent to-go platter without a bag or any utensils. Stranger still, there was about 1/3 of the food I expected. For reference, I frequently get shawarma from Oasis in the Loop and numerous places in NYC. When the staff member handed me the platter, there were six French fries (seriously six) in one of the three compartments. The shawarma doesn't come with fries. Perhaps this was because there was so little food in the other compartments? I asked "is this the $15 (stressing $15) shawarma platter?" The staff member said, "yeah, do you want me to get something else?" The food was acceptable but the whole experience was just really, really strange. Not sure if they were cutting use of ingredients due to higher than expected demand but I don't appreciate being put in an awkward situation like that. Regardless, it was not what I expected. Not a good way to serve a new customer. read more

What a great addition to the neighborhood! Excellent quality in every dish. Beautiful presentation. I chose the tacos and my companion the plate. It was SO GOOD that I brought my family back for dinner. It was a great culinary day for me! read more

Seriously so good! I love this place. I went two times while I was in Chicago. Great food.

This is a review of the Time out location. I went there at 1pm on a Tuesday(March 14th) and I was refused service for no reason. I was about to order at Evette's with my 4 year old son by my side. The man manning the booth lied and told me he would not take orders anymore because he would leave soon. I ended up ordering from another stall. However, I noticed that he actually continued taking orders from other people and didn't leave while I dined there. I certainly didn't appreciate the lie and being refused service for no reason at all. I hope this is not a race treatment. read more

Easy 5 stars! Gyro wrap was amazingly delicious and definitely larger than a typical wrap. Even had a little halloumi in it. Others in the group had the breakfast wrap and pretty fattoush salad, and couldn't have been more pleased with their meal. Staff was super great and friendly! Can't wait for the next visit to try the zaatar and hummus, along with anything else my appetite can handle. Great fresh tasting food - Evette would be proud! read more

Great spot! Super clean and fresh with some sweet tunes too. Had the tacos and fries.

I love Evette's! They have a unique menu which I've tried several items. The tacos and lamb BLT were great. The gyro plate was pretty solid too. I highly recommend checking out their dinner after dark events! The experience was well worth the reasonable price and the food was so unique. Uni ice cream? Fantastic and so creative. read more

Super cute ambiance and a great stop for a casual bite to eat! Food was delicious and there were a ton of choices (big portions too). Staff was very friendly and welcoming! read more

I recommend the chicken shawarma. Make sure to get extra sauce though. Garlic fries, have a lot of garlic, but are good for a family style appetizer/side. Gyro was good but slightly different. I'm glad this place came to Lincoln park and hope they stay. read more

New. Fast. Delicious. Filling! Ordered pick up last night through their website and SO good. We had the meatball sub and the lamb kefta wrap- both great portion sizes. For those of us with allergies- SUPER allergy friendly/ food preference online ordering! Arguably the best Ive experienced so far. It was ready when we got there (15 min after placing our order) and the staff was super friendly when I walked in the pick up. The decor is very cute, even though we can't enjoy it right now due to COVID restrictions. Great new addition to the neighborhood! read more

I highly recommend Evette's. The food was delicious and unique, the portions were huge, and it was reasonably priced. The gyro melt sandwich was divine, and you can't go wrong with any options with Halloumi. Truly wonderful! read more

Evette's is fabulous! I am excited for my next experience at Evette's to try something different! I ordered a gyro wrap and a side of fries, both were outstanding. I appreciate they are open for lunch. It is such a great option and different from a standard sandwich or salad. Highly recommend checking out! read more

Tried this place out over the weekend. We got the kefta wrap and the Shawarma wrap. The food was nice and hot. I liked the shawarma better. The kefta wrap had tahini, but it also could have used the garlic sauce as it was a little dry. The fries were well seasoned, but I think I'd order them crispy next time. They had markings on the floor where to stand, and all the staff were appropriately masked, and seemed to be having fun. My only issue was that we ordered online. The kefta wrap online says it comes with fries, but the printed menu says it is only the lamb melt or kefta sub and this is what the staff said also. I didn't have my phone on me to check, so we landed up having to order an extra side of fries for my bf cause I wasn't sharing my fries :) Once we got back we saw that their menus don't match, so hopefully they fix it so no one else runs into this issue. read more

tried the chicken shawarma at the time out chicago location. i think they forgot to put anything else in my wrap outside of chicken and some sauce. I kept thinking maybe the other toppings were towards the bottom, and when I got more than half way through I felt like a jerk taking it back. on top of this it was over $15 after tax and tip. there's lots of great stuff at time out, skip this stall. read more

I was so excited to try this place after the NYT 2022 restaurant list came out. But sadly the meat was dry and there was not enough sauce :( the feta & garlic fries are good though! It is really overpriced though read more

The food was extremely tasty! It's not often that I eat every last bite on my plate. I had the Evette's Plate with Steak Shwarma. We also ordered the Gyro and Chicken Tacos. The fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine done right! I also want to add that the staff there are so professional and patient as my kids were yelling when I ordered the food. LOVED IT and will be back! read more

Fresh, modern take on the traditional gyro. My husband was looking for a greasy gyro, so this was not a fit for him, but was perfect for me! Loved the different complementary flavors in the tabbouleh, too. Perfect to enjoy and eat at one of the many nearby parks. I will be back! read more

I am super happy this place opened!! The food is DELICIOUS!!! I've had both the tacos and melts! I would def recommend this place! The people are very nice too!! read more

This place is amazing! I'm so glad to have some quality, affordable food around the corner. I've had delivery twice now. The halloumi and al pastor tacos are out of this WORLD. The fries are delicious, crispy and seasoned great. Do yourself a favor and support this new business ASAP read more

Evette's is terrific! Amazing fresh, made to order. I don't know what a Lebanese/Mexican fusion is exactly but I love it!. Really well decorated and they are obviously doing everything right. You could feel and the love going into the food and the skill in it's flavor. So happy to have a terrific food option in an area with so few restaurants. read more

Not sure what the hype was or the Mediterranean/Mexican influences. The plate we got was purely Mediterranean and was nothing special.

WOW this place is good. My husband and I got the shawarma and steak plates and they were both so good. The meat has amazing flavor and the salad and couscous gives it a great light taste to compliment it. The french fries were crispy and could stand up well under the meat. It's a great take on classic middle eastern foods. I can't wait to try more things off the menu next time. Everything looks so good!! Definitely coming back. read more

These garlic feta fries are the best fries I've ever had. Could not recommend this place more.

Amazing tacos! I prefer the chicken shawarma ones, but the halloumi was also great! Very fresh and flavorful...Can't wait to try more
