I honestly think this place is so slept on. Don't let the low star count of reviews fool you. I ordered through DoorDash and it came super fast. The chicken Caesar wrap is really good. It also comes with fries and a can of soda for no additional cost, which is something that most restaurants don't do. I wonder what the restaurant is like in person in terms of service and ambience but I can't comment on it since I did not go in person. Chicken Caesar wraps are all the rage right now so I definitely recommend this place for that. I'm excited to go back and try something else on their menu. read more

Fulton Market is a diner's paradise, and Pitaki is one of few fast casual grab-and-go options in the area. I stopped in with a small party of three and we all went with chicken bowls with fries or pita. I went with the Klassico Bowl (greek salad, fries, tzatziki, zesty lemon, mustard-mayo) and while it looked promising, the first few bites felt like I was eating five separate ingredients instead of one cohesive bowl.. Mixing it helped, but the bowl still lacked that hearty, craveable balance of indulgent + healthy. Chicken wasn't particularly tender, fries were a little tough, and overall the flavor landed at just okay. My friends felt similarly. And that's really the issue: Pitaki will feed you; I'm just not sure it'll make you want to be fed there again. I got the pegasus bowl and it's actually a decent size with lots of healthy components, including a lot of beets. The service was whatever for takeout and a packed lunch pick up place. So no ambiance there although it is cute inside. I do wish the bowl was warmer, everything was cold except for the falafel which were room temperature. The pita was definitely old and cold as well and the hummus looked and tasted like it was straight out of a can which it probably is. The dressing gave nothing. The beet salad was honestly the best part which there is a lot of. Overall I wouldn't return for food unless they fixed these components. I'm surprised by the low ratings! We went for the froyo happy hour which is every day from 2-5pm. I really like that it includes the weekends and that you get 2 toppings included. We chose the baklava and sour cherries and it was loaded. Still surprised it was only $3. Toppings were great, especially the baklava. The yogurt itself was a little icy but tasted good with all the toppings. We also got the chicken Caesar wrap which was pretty large and full of lettuce and crispy chicken. I liked that as well! Loved this place! I got a Pegasus bowl and it came with flavorful chicken and beets. So many beets! Loved the baba ghanoush as well. It came with fresh pita as well! I got delivery from this place on a Tuesday night. The internet has been a buzz about their Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap, so I had to have it. I got the CCSW, it was a little dry, not much Caesar dressing, but it was good. The chicken was crispy, and chopped up into smaller pieces which was nice for mouth feel. There was a lot of parm cheese on top which is definitely trendy right now. I also got a side of feta fries which is just fries with feta on top. Not bad but I wish it had more feta honestly. I also got a side of pita with tzatziki sauce. The bread was not homemade. Overall they have meal deals where you get a drink with your order, unfortunately they only had coke products or water. I ordered the protein plate which provided the right balance with veggies and carbs to get me through the afternoon. The chili tzatziki sauce was great and it went well with the pork. I come here all the time for froyo and it's the best deal, $5 for a good portion with two toppings. Froyo is very tart which I love but not for you if you don't like a tart froyo. Recently, I got a bowl here and I was a bit disappointed. Mostly flavorless and the salad is just massive chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers. I do think their halloumi is very good, they put a good amount in the bowl and the halloumi side is good. I think their bowls just aren't worth it though! read more

Always trying something new around my old job I noticed a Mediterranean spot was opening up. I really enjoyed my lemonade with ginger it was refreshing. My chicken pita was okay not great. My family was excited to try this but we won't be back. Started off with a cashier with an attitude problem. My entire family felt very uncomfortable by how unfriendly she was and seemingly bothered to be there. Not a great welcome. We ordered a few things. The southern fried Socrates was the worst. It seems to be frozen chicken tenders, and in this case, they were very dry and overcooked with bbq sauce on it. Very weird flavor profile. The chicken Caesar wrap was also dry and we needed to ask for more sauce. Feta fries were literally fries with feta sprinkled on top, not much to it. Froyo machine was broken but we went back a week later to try it and were not impressed. Overall we were disappointed and won't be back. Disappointed by what we thought would be a nice new neighborhood spot. read more

Jesus Christ! I came here once and it was good, so I decided to come back and bring a friend. We both intended on ordering the chicken Caesar wrap combo: wrap, fries and a drink. I ordered mine and paid. When my friend ordered hers, she was asked "what kind of fries would you like?" I overhear this from the table i selected for us and say to myself, "Oh? How can that be? There was the option for other types of fries? That was not offered to me... how strange..." Whatever. I let it slide because she will get something other than the regular "default" that was assigned to me. Time for my friend to add the halloumi curds as seen on the menu on the wall. The cashier informs us that they are not showing up on her menu on the register so she must go ask the manager to put them back on the menu so we can order and be charged for them. The cashier disappears for a moment through a door, returns and informs us that we are not able to order them because they "only have enough for online orders." Well if the fry fiasco didn't have me scratching my head i'm definitely itching it now. Why reserve a menu item listed on the physical screen above for hypothetical online orders when there is a real life customer, money in hand, practically begging to purchase them in person right here and right now. I ask if we can order them online and just "pick them up" to enjoy with our meal while dining in. I am told yes. Hooray! Once I arrive at the Pitaki website and navigate to the curds, would you believe me if I told you I was met with the words: OUT OF STOCK ? I inform the team of this and am told by a second employee that "they don't control what's on the menu" Well, if it's not the employees who control the menu, nor this mysterious manager somewhere behind this closed door, who really is driving this car one may ask? Your guess is as good as mine. I'm now instructed to use DoorDash or Uber eats. Do i have these applications on my phone? No. Am i willing to download these apps with my own cellular data to purchase something that I could easily just be allowed to order because I'm standing probably 10 feet at most from where these curds are being housed? Not really! But i do it anyways. Neither app is showing these curds as an option. Big. Shocker. There. My name is called and my food is ready for me. I take my seat, bite into a singular fry and am interrupted by a voice from behind the counter asking me if I ordered a gluten free wrap. I wasn't even offered fry options never mind a gluten free version of this wrap. I say no and am asked to return the wrap I was given back to the counter... I would understand if the restaurant was busy and there had been mix up. Things happen. However, at this point in time my friend and I are the only people not on the payroll currently inside the establishment. 5 minutes later my new wrap comes along with my friend's order. I catch the team up to speed on the lack of curd situation on all available online ordering apps. I am now offered them, by a third employee, who brings them out hot and fresh in about 30 seconds. Almost as if these curds were waiting for someone like me to order them. Anyways, friend bites into her wrap, grilled chicken. I bite into mine, breaded chicken. No function on any calculator that exists at this point in history is able to help me calculate what has happened here and how we have arrived at this point. Is the grilled version the gluten free option that neither of us were offered or ordered? Was my friend just given the wrap that had just been taken from me? Am I being pranked? Is this whole situation punishment for sins I have neglected to repent for? I approach the counter one final time to bring attention to this discrepancy and am asked what kind of chicken I was looking for. Last time I was here it was grilled, so I figured that was the default (a word that is meaning less and less as this experience continues). I tell the employees my preference for grilled and am immediately handed a new wrap. First bite, and it is breaded chicken again. In this moment it has been officially confirmed: Logic simply does not exist within the 4 walls of Pitaki in Fulton Market. If you plan on coming here and expect to be served what it is that you actually ordered for yourself, start praying to your God now. read more

First time having Greek food since my trip this summer and I wish I could go back. I ended up getting the Klassiko bowl with the mustard-mayo on the side. I ordered chicken but was given pork. Not very flavorful and pretty dry. The Greek salad was too acidic and the pita wasn't fluffy. The fries were very well seasoned but most of them were soft. The nice part was the tzatziki but it couldn't save the rest of the food. I'm sure they will adjust as they are open for longer but the taste just wasn't there for me to wanna come back. read more

In town from NYC and I eat Greek food all the time. I got a Spicy Siren with zucchini falafel. I may have been hungry but I like to think I'm pretty discerning. This was a 10/10 wrap; the pita was fresh and hot, the falafel must have been fresh out of the oil, the flavors were outstanding.
