Fulton Market is a diner's paradise, and Pitaki is one of few fast casual grab-and-go options in the area. I stopped in with a small party of three and we all went with chicken bowls with fries or pita. I went with the Klassico Bowl (greek salad, fries, tzatziki, zesty lemon, mustard-mayo) and while it looked promising, the first few bites felt like I was eating five separate ingredients instead of one cohesive bowl.. Mixing it helped, but the bowl still lacked that hearty, craveable balance of indulgent + healthy. Chicken wasn't particularly tender, fries were a little tough, and overall the flavor landed at just okay. My friends felt similarly. And that's really the issue: Pitaki will feed you; I'm just not sure it'll make you want to be fed there again. At $$, I expected more, especially in Fulton Market, where even fast-casual spots tend to punch above their weight. read more

I got the pegasus bowl and it's actually a decent size with lots of healthy components, including a lot of beets. The service was whatever for takeout and a packed lunch pick up place. So no ambiance there although it is cute inside. I do wish the bowl was warmer, everything was cold except for the falafel which were room temperature. The pita was definitely old and cold as well and the hummus looked and tasted like it was straight out of a can which it probably is. The dressing gave nothing. The beet salad was honestly the best part which there is a lot of. Overall I wouldn't return for food unless they fixed these components. I got delivery from this place on a Tuesday night. The internet has been a buzz about their Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap, so I had to have it. I got the CCSW, it was a little dry, not much Caesar dressing, but it was good. The chicken was crispy, and chopped up into smaller pieces which was nice for mouth feel. There was a lot of parm cheese on top which is definitely trendy right now. I also got a side of feta fries which is just fries with feta on top. Not bad but I wish it had more feta honestly. I also got a side of pita with tzatziki sauce. The bread was not homemade. Overall they have meal deals where you get a drink with your order, unfortunately they only had coke products or water. Ordered via Toast Local and my order was ready close to the eta given when submitted. I ordered the protein plate which provided the right balance with veggies and carbs to get me through the afternoon. The chili tzatziki sauce was great and it went well with the pork. If I had not seen it as an option on Toast, I may have missed it. There is some foot traffic in the area but I usually stick to Randolph and some of the side streets for eats. read more

I come here all the time for froyo and it's the best deal, $5 for a good portion with two toppings. Froyo is very tart which I love but not for you if you don't like a tart froyo. Recently, I got a bowl here and I was a bit disappointed. Mostly flavorless and the salad is just massive chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers. I do think their halloumi is very good, they put a good amount in the bowl and the halloumi side is good. I think their bowls just aren't worth it though! read more

Always trying something new around my old job I noticed a Mediterranean spot was opening up. I really enjoyed my lemonade with ginger it was refreshing. My chicken pita was okay not great. The service was quick and the place was clean in Fulton Market. The cashier was very nice. Definitely a solid spot to try. read more

My family was excited to try this but we won't be back. Started off with a cashier with an attitude problem. My entire family felt very uncomfortable by how unfriendly she was and seemingly bothered to be there. Not a great welcome. We ordered a few things. The southern fried Socrates was the worst. It seems to be frozen chicken tenders, and in this case, they were very dry and overcooked with bbq sauce on it. Very weird flavor profile. The chicken Caesar wrap was also dry and we needed to ask for more sauce. Feta fries were literally fries with feta sprinkled on top, not much to it. Froyo machine was broken but we went back a week later to try it and were not impressed. Overall we were disappointed and won't be back. First time having Greek food since my trip this summer and I wish I could go back. I ended up getting the Klassiko bowl with the mustard-mayo on the side. I ordered chicken but was given pork. Not very flavorful and pretty dry. The Greek salad was too acidic and the pita wasn't fluffy. The fries were very well seasoned but most of them were soft. The nice part was the tzatziki but it couldn't save the rest of the food. I'm sure they will adjust as they are open for longer but the taste just wasn't there for me to wanna come back. read more
