scam artist alert****** scam artist alert******** these guys are a bunch of scam artists. stay away. they say theyve been in business for 10 years. they probably started their scammy garage a couple of months ago. i was looking for mechanics on craigslist to replace my power steering pump. called a couple ads up. came across their phone number. told them i needed the steering pump changed. they told me 300 with parts and labor. asked them how much for just labor because i brought the pump from a parts place. told me 100. i brought my car in. they seemed to be overly nice when i got there. i asked them how much an oil change was. told me 25.00. had them do the oil change and the steering pump replacement. some young guy named francisco (i think thats his name) did the work. always had a weird smirk on his face. after the pump was put in, he tried to show me it was leaking from the metal tubing that connects to the pump. he told me there was a 2 inch gash in the tubing. i only saw that there was a gushing leak. wasnt able to see where it was leaking from and the car wasnt even turned on. scumbag josh gave me a price of 150 extra for the part and install. at that point i was suspicious but gave them the benefit of the doubt and my car couldnt be driven with the leak. so they got the part, put it in. the guy who did the work tried to convince me that there was a leak in the tubing by showing it to me. i couldnt see anything wrong with it. after it was done, i checked out the tubing again after the oil change and couldnt see any damage. i went in for a 100 dollar job. ended up costing me 250 and the 25.00 for the oil change. no receipt was given. after i drove the car home, i noticed that there was an oil leak. i became more suspicious of the extra work done on the car after this. the next morning, i drove back and told them about the problem. i told him he probably didnt tighten the filter. he gauranteed me that he did and told me he'd check it out. i told him no. i took it to a mechanic that i knew. he confirmed my suspicion that the filter was lose. at that point, i knew they scammed me with the extra work that wasnt needed on the steering pump tubing and was running a repair scam. they were trying to make up issues with my car so that they could make money by fixing nonexistant issues. these people are all in on the scam from the office girl to the the francisco the mechanic to josh the owner. theyre all little scamming sociopath scam artists. they probably had this setup going at another place with a different name before they opened this place up. stay away guys. they will rippppppppppppppppppp you off. i went back and comfronted these scumbags 2x. told them they lied to me. they stuck to the same story. told me if there was a problem they'll put it on the lift and check it out. wasnt gonna get ripped off more as my car was parked on the steet. wasnt gonna let these scumbags touch my car again after this. i demanded a receipt, josh came out with a notepad and a pen and tried to write up some garbage on the spot stuff as a receipt. saw the guilt and fear. guy was nervous because he didnt want proof on paper. told him to keep the garbage. read more

CUSTOMER BEWARE....CON ARTISTS AND SCAMMERS More like every thing Con artists auto care. Are they in the business of fixing your car or are they in the business of trying to destroy your car while trying to con you for more money and made up imaginary fixes? Where do I begin? I was looking for a mechanic to replace my starter on my 2010 Accord. Looked on Craigslist. I called a couple of people who gave me a reasonable price of 80.00 Unfortunately they were busy at the time so I came across this Little scammer outfit they call a mechanic shop. I called them and the lady on the phone told me 300 to do the job with parts. I asked them how much to do the job if I brought in the part. She said 100. I heard somebody in the background talking to her and apparently its the little con Artist name Josh. The little dude who owns the place. I stop by. They seemed to be overly now, chatty...like they were trying to gain your favor. Scammer Josh had this other guy do the job. I believe his name was Francisco or Pedro. The guy always had a weird constipated look on his face. So I sat there for 30-45 while he did the job. I also asked for an oil change (25.00). After he finished with putting in the starter, I hear Pedro do his guilt boss impression..." Who told you it was your starter"? Was I guilty of something Pedro? I've had starter issues before buddy. I've worked on my car before. Its the starter. He told me it wasn't the starter and that it was the alternator and some bad wiring. I was suspicious but asked him how much the job was? He and Scammer boy Josh went in the back and told me that the job was going to be another 300 dollars. I told him it couldn't be the alternator and he said it was. So, with my car on the lift, I said maybe you guys are wrong. Pedro then does his little guilty boss man impression and told me he might be able to rewire it but it's gonna take him an hour and its gonna cost me 250 dollars. Irritated I told him to finish the job. He finished it and and oil change. I walked out of there with 425.00 less in my wallet. However, the story doesn't end there. I dove to get something to eat. parked my car for 30 mins. I noticed that there was an oil leak. At that point I was absolutely livid. Not only did this guy scammed me for 300 dollars, they screwed up my oil change. I was pretty sure that Pedro didn't tightened my filter on purpose. It was after 5 so I had to go back the next day. I went back the next day and told Pedro he probably didn't tighten my filter tight. He said it was 100% tight and my car prob had leaks all over the place. I had no oil leaks at all when I took it in originally. He told me that he would put it on the lift and check it out. I said no. Took the car to a mechanic the I know and they told me it was the filter that was loose. I went back and confronted these scammers 2x. Not only were they unapologetic, they had the nerve to tell me to leave. Warning to customers, all 3 of these people are in on this scam including the girl. Everything Auto attributes: Professionalism Honesty Not pushy Diligence / thorough Friendly disposition (Josh) This was my first experience with Everything Auto. I needed a state inspection for my car and noticed the auto repair business had recently established itself in the neighborhood. I had an appointment to bring my car in the morning and, while waiting for the shop to open, I met another patron who was also there for an inspection. He had good things to say about Josh (proprietor) & his experience with the business when it was in its former location. Clearly a positive sign, since he was willing to travel out of his way to the repair shop, which was now much farther from his home. Based on Josh's recommendations, it was clear to me that he had done a thorough safety inspection & identified potential future issues with my vehicle. Josh was friendly & personable. He was NOT pushy & trying to upsell services like those that you typically experience at dealership service shops. In my experience, many shops do not bother to call you when your car is ready for pickup or to inform you, in a timely manner, that they need to hold onto the car for more than a day to perform a repair. You have to chase them and make the phone calls. Not the case with Everything Auto; Josh called as soon as he was finished, which allowed me the use of my car for the remainder of the day. Josh identified streaking windshield wipers that were passable but were beginning to fail. Many shops would have just failed the wipers to add to their charges. I find that these small things are important as it reflects the character of the shop owner & portends the quality of future work when doing repairs & maintenance. Josh clearly demonstrates professionalism, diligence & honesty. For those reasons, I highly recommend this shop ! read more

HE SAID THAT THIS IS A DEPOSIT FOR THE PARTS AND HE HAD NEVER EVER FIXED ANYTHING!!! I CALLED THE COPS AND THEY SAID THAT THIS IS JUST A CIVIL MATTER AND THAT ALL!!! IN OUT COUNTRY IN USA A PEARSON CAN JUST ROB YOU FOR THE $ 160 AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!! AND THE POLICE CAN NOT DO NOTHING EVER. YELP SAIS - HEY - WHAT CAN WE DO... I AM TAKING THIS COMPANY TO A SMALL CLAIMES COURT! Asked the lady on the phone if there is a fee for the diagnostics. She said that there will be no charge if it takes 5 -10 minutes. Then they look at the car for 5 minutes and tell me that I have to pay the $ 60 anyways. Why I don't know. Anywhere else you go they wave the diagnostics fee if it takes 5 minutes. And if you fix the car at that shop. But not at this shop. I found them on yelp and gave them the car because they have good ratings, but just another shop that treat's you like you are an idiot!!! Then they got the nerve to take the money upfront for the parts from my worker without my knowledge. I tried to call this people for 2 days but no answer. Why I have no idea!!! I emailed them several times - no answer. I called 10 tomes - they just hang the phone up. On the phone they talk over you and do not let you speak. This people treat you like if you where a dog and they know you need your car fixed so they know you need it like air to breath. So they know that you will do anything to get it fixed. Don't deal with this shop. They tell you one thing on the phone but in reality it's totally different. read more

I had my alternator replaced at Everything Auto Store, and unfortunately, it turned into a complete nightmare. During the repair, the mechanic somehow damaged my AC drain hose, which I didn't even notice until I started having issues with the air conditioning system soon after the service. When I returned to the shop to address the issue, the mechanic had the nerve to charge me $200 just to diagnose the problem - a problem that they had caused in the first place! It's extremely frustrating to be treated like this, especially when you're trusting them to handle the repairs. They should have owned up to the damage and fixed it without charging me for something that wasn't my fault. Instead, they tried to pass the blame and squeeze more money out of me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They don't take responsibility for their mistakes, and their customer service is awful. I will never be coming back to Everything Auto Store. Please take your car somewhere else if you value your time and money! read more

Josh has been my mechanic since he opened a few years ago, the garage is big and nice but is pretty hard to find(it's behind a black gate across the street from advance auto parts) and there's no real seating inside but who cares lol what's important is that I've saved hundreds of dollars and he's the most honest mechanic I've ever had. He's totally professional and transparent, and has no problem showing you exactly what's wrong with your car and gives different options for parts(I always try to use original parts but sometimes he can find an aftermarket part for half the price and it's by the same manufacturer!) He gives advice and he's always available! I needed to repair my axel last Monday night around 9pm and he was there to fix it! How could I not write this review?! He's my savior lol my knight with the golden wrench I recommend him to my friends and family all the time. *QUICK TIP* - Call to make an appointment before you come in so he can have the part ready and have you in and out! read more

Josh has been my mechanic for years, actually almost a decade, at his old Valley Stream location, so I'm happy to see him at a new bigger shop just a couple miles away in Franklin Square. I come here for everything, but I wanted to share my latest experience. My vehicle had died somehow while driving and I was stuck on the road in Garden City. They handled the tow, diagnosed my vehicle, and was able to repair it all while I was at work. My day started out terribly but Everything Auto really saved the day. The issue with car was an aftermarket Bluetooth connection that I plug into the little lighter hole... it was defective and it was draining too much power and making my car die (a parasitic draw, or so I'm told) IDK how they even found that but they saved my life lol welp now I know better than to use cheap Amazon accessories! Nothing short of impressive! I had my wife's Ford Explorer towed to Everything Auto from another mechanic because they couldn't fix the issue. This was my first time using them and I preferred the dealer but they didn't have an available appointment for weeks plus I knew this was a complex issue since the first mechanic was unable to either identify or fix the issue. The mechanics and the manager, Boris, worked tirelessly identifying several issues and always called me before charging me for parts. These guys really put in the work and now my wife's truck works better than the day I drove it out of the dealership. Josh seems to be very knowledgeable about cars and right off the bat his prices beats everyone else around. He doesn't try to waste your time and he points out what needs to be addressed and give you a very reasonable price for repairs.
