Never any lies, just complete honesty. Once he does get to looking it over (which only takes a couple of hours or so), he calls you to let you know what he sees and what repairs he recommends. He never gets started on anything without letting you know beforehand, which I deeply appreciate. He'll sometimes show you the problem himself. He gives you an estimate on the cost right there and then too, and it's always similar to or even lower than what other mechanics would offer. Again, he NEVER does a repair without you knowing about it and agreeing to it first, and he's not at all pushy. The repairs are always spot on, more than affordable for what he sometimes has to do to attack the problem, and John is always true to his word. I've come to Mineola Auto Care multiple times, and I've always received stellar service. I go out of my way to come here because I know I can completely trust their work. John is very genuine and kind - he even took the time to write me a list of things to watch out for and look for in my car. It's this above and beyond service that ought to earn them way more than 5 stars, but 5 will have to do for now. Needless to say, HIGHLY recommend!

A panel from the bottom of my car ended up falling out 2 days later and all my washer fluid fell out. I recently found an honest and good mechanic shop Called Central Valley Auto repair. Mr. Muhammad is a very nice man and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I have been hearing and feeling a grinding noise on the right side of my Ford explorer truck for a while. I kept postponing to get it fixed due to not knowing any shops i felt i could trust. I started looking online for the best shops near me. I came across Central Valley Auto Repair. I took my car there and spoke with Mr. Muhammad, he said I would have to leave the truck and he will inspect and give me a call. He call me back shortly with a great quote for the parts and labor so told him to proceed with the repairs. A few minutes later he called me again and stated there was more issues that needed to be addressed with the repairs. The quote for the additional parts and labor was also great and fair. When I went to pick up the truck Mr. Muhammad informed me the truck was repaired and better than when I brought it in and if anything is wrong with his work to bring it back and he will fix it. As I drove the car home I kept thinking to myself this car is riding amazing feels like it was new. Before I reached home I got another call from Mr. Muhammad asking how was the car riding. Dave recently solved a nagging but known problem with my son's '15 Infiniti Q40. The car would take on water every time there was a steady rain. My son had taken his car to several mechanics but the problem was never resolved. Apparently the leak was a known problem with Infiniti's sunroof drain system. The outlet would easily get clogged by dirt and falling debris. Rather than simply blowing out the dirt and debris with a water or air hose like the other mechanics my son used, Dave was the only one who thought outside the box and re-ran the sunroof drain lines from both sides of the sun roof and connected the two hoses into one using a T valve and running the one single drainage hose out the car via the AC outlet. Happy to report that it's been 6 or 7 months now and the car which is parked uncovered in my driveway full-time, is now bone dry even after some very heaviest days of rain.
