Food - I take the sausage egg and cheese sandwich, with a large latte, every time. Consistently good! For 10 dollars? Thats unheard of in LA Service - The girl at the register is always polite and prompt. Ambiance - clean, uncluttered. However, the place does feel like it's freezing all the time.

My favorite flavor Olipop is strawberry vanilla.

Hi, Does the food come unsealed and wrapped up in foil as well?

Hi DJ, thank you for reaching out! Any orders ordered on third-party platforms will arrive to customers heated and wrapped in foil with the exception of salads when ordering from our site, all items in the order would arrive cold.

To end the night before we headed off to dinner, we stopped by The Semi- Tropic bar for drinks. The parking situation was difficult to say the least-- there is no street parking or parking lot. And the neighborhood behind the bar is filled with park cars. We were lucky and parked at a parking lot that was for the surrounding business (so sorry to the pizza/ weed shop!). We arrived at around 6:30 PM so it wasn't too busy. We were greeted by one of the servers and she gave us options to either sit at a lounge table area or hightop tables. We opted for the hightop tables because we knew we weren't staying there for long. The server was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu for drinks. I've been sober for about a year so I only had water, my boyfriend ordered a Naoshima Dream, his cousin ordered a Mango Cart, and his cousin's girlfriend ordered a Lemon Drop Martini. The bar was super cute and hipster! I honestly would have loved going to this bar back when I used to drink. It's dimly lit, had a vintage 20's speakeasy feel to it and the music was a vibe. I'd recommend coming here for a little date with your partner or even coming with a group of friends. My boyfriend had been here once before and he said the food was really good and affordable. He had a panini and said for bar food it was a 10/10. We waited maybe like 10 minutes for our drinks to come, we were having such a fun time chatting and enjoying the environment that it didn't feel long at all. My boyfriend, his cousin, and his cousin's girlfriend really enjoyed their drinks. They said the drinks tasted "light" insinuating that there was barely any alcohol in it. Don't let the taste fool you, after finishing half of their drink there were full of smiles, giggles, and had a great buzz going. The prices here were all pretty fair for the cost and quality of the drinks. Would defintely recommend coming here for drinks and dinner for a date night or a night out with friends!

It looks like a typical trendy coffee shop, which I'm not mad about, but I feel like you'd only know to come here for lunch if someone told you about it beforehand. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich. Pro tip: the lunch menu starts at 10:30 a.m. The sandwich didn't look like much at first, but one bite in and I was sold. It has all the basics you'd want in a turkey avocado sandwich, but what really stood out were the generous portions. They definitely don't skimp on the ingredients. The real star, though, was the aged balsamic glaze. Whatever magical concoction they're using, it adds the perfect amount of sweetness and ties everything together. I know some people don't like sweet elements in their sandwiches, but that's their loss and more for me. It was absolutely delicious. The space itself has plenty of seating and is great whether you're looking to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy your meal and coffee. My only heads-up is parking. It was a bit of a struggle. I had to circle the block a few times because most of the available spots were 15-minute parking, and the street is busy enough that turning around isn't always easy. Overall, this is definitely a spot I'll be bringing friends to for a casual lunch date. The sandwich alone is worth the visit.

On this visit, I got the OG Avocado Toast. The avocado was perfectly ripe and fresh, and a heaping portion was served over their toasted olive bread. It's a pretty simple preparation. I probably would have preferred the Mediterranean version, as the tomatoes on this weren't my fave and there was raw red onion mixed into the avo so I wasn't able to pick it out. Next time, I'll have to request it without the onion. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu items.

The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying moist and tender inside. Even the rice and salad that came with the bowl were flavorful and clearly made with care. It was such an unforgettable and refreshing experience. Chef Anita has such a vision. Every detail was well thought of, from the outdoor patio dining surrounded by olive bushes to the indoor wooden and oak touches with Fairouz playing overhead. What's even better is EVERY single dish is labelled clearly for allergy diners! AHHHH as a nut allergy girly this had me geekin. All the celiac diners can enjoy their dining experience without any triggering fears as well. I went with their famous Lebanese egg pie and my friend got the grilled salmon plate. We shared the ful mudammas, my fave dish. The gluten-free pita bread def changed my brain wiring. I don't enjoy gluten-free food, and I was drooling. The pita was pillow soft, like how do you do that? Magic, I tell you. The egg pie was SO special. Pillow soft as well and super filling. The flavors of every dish were legendary. We couldn't stop talking about the colors, the plating, the top tier service. Everything about Levant deserves to be raved about. Come one come all. Def coming to Levant next time I'm in Echo Park.

We arrived midday on a Sunday and we're promptly sat, having been given the option for patio or indoor. We chose the patio, and between the clematis, lantana, and olive trees it is a very lovely setting in which to enjoy a meal. We were promptly brought a bottle of cold water and glasses, and our beverage orders were taken. I had a honey lavender latte with oat milk, and my husband had Lebanese coffee (no milk no sugar.) my latte was fragrant, the perfect temperature, and just the right amount of sweet. The Lebanese coffee was smooth, floral without being perfume, and excellent. We started with the falafel and the batata harra. Both absolutely excellent. For our entrees we selected the shakshuka and the Lebanese egg pie. Both were also excellent. Everything was well cooked, well presented, flavorful without being overwhelmed by any component. We took home a baklava tart, because we simply did not have the ability to eat more at the table. It was tender, moist, not too sweet, the pistachio flavor coming through as nutty and grassy, seriously so good! And it's worth noting, this whole restaurant is gluten free. I would not have realised if I had not known ahead of time. The texture of the pita with the shakshuka was exactly what one would expect, as was the bread of the egg pie. The pastry of the tart was flakey and delicious. And having said all of that, the service is what puts it above and beyond. Everyone was warm and pleasant, and seemed to genuinely appreciate the compliments. Staff seemed like they liked their jobs, which for me is always a good sign.
