The flavor was good, but the burger was thinner than a smash burger, ridiculously thin. If I order a burger again, it would have to be a double or triple. The fries were delicious, nice and crispy, fluffy on the inside. I will definitely keep ordering the chili dogs because they are fiyaa. If you like chili dogs, don't sleep on Tommy's. They got a makeover complete with a mural that features a homage to the Dodgers! I came in on opening day of the 2026 season where first 100 people received their 'Blue Wave Shakes'. There were additional people from habit there for the festivities and everybody was very friendly and the service was great from ordering to keeping the place clean as people kept on coming through. When I got there, there was a bit of a line as expected, but the line moved pretty efficiently. When it was my turn to order, I got the double char, fries, and of course, the blue wave shake. I thought everything was delicious. I like their burgers because it's a little thicker and it has that grill char flavor to it. There were other giveaways and festivities going on, but I couldn't stay too long. I had a lot of fun and it got me excited to kick off the new baseball season. And above all else, it was a great meal. I remember getting burgers from the original location when I was on a road trip with a few high school friends checking out the school for the first time as well. So eating at this chain always gives me a little bit of nostalgia. Overall, great option to eat when you're in the area or before or after Dodger games. You could also bring in the food into Dodger Stadium.

I also got a side of collard greens after seeing several reviews recommending them. I felt like the spice level was higher at this location than at the Pasadena one. Even the Mild was definitely spicier than I remembered! It still had really good flavor, though. I also really enjoyed the collard greens and was glad I decided to try them. I'm not sure if it's just this location or if all of their locations do this now but they also gave us bottled water for free, which was nice. One thing I really liked about the Chinatown location was the parking. There's a huge parking lot across the street so finding a spot was easy. I prefer the Pasadena location for dining in but its parking lot is very small and finding a spot can be difficult. We'll definitely go back to Howlin' Ray's when we visit LA again next spring. We just haven't decided which location we'll choose next time!

Everytable is truly a godsend. When this establishment opened close to my home, I was curious to try. Now, having finally tried it, I can confidently say that my decision was the right one. The restaurant offers modest portion sizes which, for me, is an added advantage. Their mission, to provide affordable yet nutritious meals for all, speaks volumes about their dedication to community well-being. It was a bit tricky to find at first due to Vermont Street traffic, but there's a convenient loading zone out front for quick pick-ups.
