Such a cute cafe next to the Boiling Crab! My friend and I came upon this cafe after eating at the mandu restaurant next door. We were intrigued by their soju cocktails and thought we would give them a try. The cafe is extremely spacious and the lady who took our order was very friendly. My friend and I both got the mango soju cocktail (at the nice lady's recommendation!) and it was delicious. They also serve boba, coffee drinks, and other alcoholic beverages aside from cocktails. When we got our soju cocktails the lady brought us a bowl of popcorn to have with our drinks. While drinking our cocktails we noticed that a lot of Boiling Crab patrons would come in for a drink while they wait for their table to be ready, and the cafe also allows takeout patrons to eat their seafood boil at the cafe, which I thought was very nice of them! read more

Nice people but steer clear. If you order boiling crab to go they allow you to sit here but each person in your party needs to buy a drink. If there's 6 people, 6 drinks need to be bought. That's no problem until you realize the drinks are no less than $8 each. I bought one boba & 7 strawberry lemonades for $65 complete complete rip off. We got our food from next for 30 minutes later, 10 minutes into us eating we still hadn't had our drinks, I had to ask her several times. Not to mention they have popcorn , so i asked to purchase some for my daughter who was with me waiting on food , they told me the popcorn is only for wine or beer and they get it free. It was completely empty when we showed up and the woman behind the counter looked so sweet. We ordered 2 boba drinks and a dole whip...our total was $18.50! To me, that seems a bit outrageous for 3 items! I guess that's why the menu doesn't include prices... The taro milk tea was good and dole whip was refreshing...but not worth $18.50! This place gives off mom and pop shop vibes, I came in on a sunday while waiting for boiling crab next door and decided to get the matcha tea with boba, I also got a mango peach slush with boba and a hot tea for a total of 20$. The asian lady behind the counter took our order she was kind of stern but we disregarded her attitude since we really didn't care... we were just waiting there to kill time lol. However, what caught my attention was that EVERYONE was eating boiling crab inside the establishment. So we asked another lady working there, who was very nice and accommodating to everyone inside, if we were allowed to eat inside with outside food and she said yes! She quickly cleaned a table for us and rest assured we canceled our spot for boiling crab and ordered take out instead and ate inside this cute little cafe. Overall this was an unexpectedly nice experience because even when we were eating outside food, inside this establishment, the asian lady who seemed younger than the first lady behind the counter took really good care of us. She offered us more drinks to which we said yes and we ordered a Japanese beer which she recommended. She later brought us the check to our table for the beers and we paid 21$ plus 13$ tip. Im not so sure but i think they charge a difference if you eat / drink there or when you take it to go lol i don't want to spread rumors but that didn't matter to me because i was so satisfied with the service money was no issue. I was lured in by the promise of pineapple Dole whip! I am a huge fan of pineapple Dole whip from Disneyland. It was risky giving this one a try without a sample, but I decided to take that chance anyway. $5.95 I believe for a regular-sized Dole whip. I went straight to the back to order. It was a little awkward though standing around and waiting for my order. I felt like I was in the way of the people working and serving tables. They should have a designated area for to-go orders. After about a 5 minute wait, I got my Dole whip. It was pretty tasty! Not 100% Disneyland status, but some of the closest I have come to it. The size is a little deceiving--like most soft-serves, they swirl it so there ends up being a hole in the middle. But the size is still pretty large considering! I also think it's a good option if you don't want to wait that long for Boiling Crab. They will allow you to sit down and eat your Boiling Crab to-go order if each person in the party orders a drink. Nobody was behind the counter when we came in. 3 people were in line. When the old Asian woman returned to the counter, I made my order. My friend walked up, saw that the ladies' room was blocked by trash bins and asked if she could wash her hands. The woman said no. I told her to use the men's room which is what I did. The old woman told her she couldn't use it and not to go in there. When my friend left, I asked the old woman why she couldn't use the men's room. She replied, "She's not a customer." I said, "She IS a customer. She's going to buy something." She said, "No. She has to buy something first, then she can use the restroom." Well, she didn't communicate that! I used the men's room bc the woman wasn't there BEFORE I bought anything. I told my friend what the woman said as she walked up to the counter, but she didn't use the restroom. Amount of Boba was chintzy for $6.50. My friend got several slices of Dole pineapple and mainly whipped cream for over $6. Not worth it. Five of us who bought food from her establishment sat outside at the table and talked. Later the old woman came out and told us we had to move because she had to do something with the table and that we had ordered to go. We got the message and left. The cafe was empty inside. This was about 2:30pm on a Sat. We left feeling unwelcomed and vowed to not patronize this establishment again. In absence of seating, she was the only one to sit on green planter boarder and the lady came outside and smiled, wrote "Do Not Sit" on both sides. I felt she could have just told us and we would have gotten off. I stayed outside while the remaining two people went inside trying to purchase one drink so the handicapped person can sit but the lady said the two people would have to purchase a minimum of 3 drinks. This is not the first time they have purchased from the cafe because the wait time for TBC is usually long - they get an average boba drink but after this passive aggressive approach the person took, we will no longer be supporting. Wait time's max is half an hour during the busy hours of dinner but that's better than a 2-hour wait! Be ready to get dirty, be who you are and have fun with the food. They have big screen TVs and if it's a game season, that is what you are going to expect. Otherwise,a Korean show will be on their screen all day long. This is where I get my sweet potato latte. It's really good although the price is $5.00 for a cup. They also serve draft beers and other drinks to wash down your BC goodness with a bowl of popcorn. That's cool. This cafe is located in a crowded plaza, so parking sucks. I was a bit confused on the atmosphere of the place, since it served alcohol, coffee, boba, and had people with Boiling Crab there. Long-story short, the owner is the same one for Boiling Crab and allows you to eat your to-go orders there if you purchase a drink. Service: it lacked attentiveness. Of the 3 different servers, there was 1 that seemed like she hated it there and projected that miserable tone when assisting us. Aside from that it took time to get seated, to order, to get our stuff, to get more water, and to get our check. Food: if you ate and didn't feel completely full, then this is the place you want for dessert and alcohol. The "waffle" was $7.50 (seems overpriced for just a waffle). The server didn't really do a good description of it and made it seemed like it was a generic fluffy waffle with whipped cream. However, I'm pleased to say it was an understatement. It was a warm, thinly pressed waffle, drizzled with just the right amount of maple syrup, topped with French vanilla ice cream, strawberries, kiwis, whipped cream and another drizzle of chocolates fudge. It satisfied the sweet tooth and big enough to share or fill that extra spot in your stomach.
